Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Penacova

We spent 3 days at the riverside farm. We had an excellent stay, the surrounding space was incredible and especially the pool area was wonderful

It was a very nice cottage, small, but everything was in good material, nice shower, nicely decorated with nice wood details. We slept wonderfully with the windows open and the sound of the river, otherwise it was completely quiet at night. Outside nice terraces, wonderfully seated with our feet in the river, a fantastic environment, completely unobstructed views at the back of the house and a lovely hamlet. We walked every day for half an hour to Gois, a beautiful village with river and delicious pastries at the paladeria. We thought it was very nice!

A dream place! Beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly designed. Everything felt thoughtful and welcoming. Truly hard to leave...we’ll definitely be back :)!

The interior space is small but the goal was not to stay at home, we like the fact that there are several things for the children, the pool area is spectacular, it has several recreational areas and the fact that having pool items was also an added value. It has a very nice deck and I really like the sofa, great for conviviality. For me it was worth the experience and I would come back.

The view is amazing and the place is very peaceful. Bring some supplies with you as the nearest supermarket is 15m away (by car) and enjoy the nature. Everything was as announced, clean and with everything needed to cook.

We had an excellent stay in Cernache. The spacious apartment offered enough space for all our needs and was attractively furnished and very clean. The processed wood has a great scent. Antonio greeted us personally and gave us tips on the stay and the area. The garden with orange and lemon trees, which gave us fresh juice for the breakfast table, a playhouse and swings as well as a small pool, which especially pleased our daughter, was particularly beautiful. It is only a stone's throw away from Coimbra, but Cernache also welcomed us very kindly, the locals were all very accommodating. Thank you!

Very nice house with all the amenities and very complete, there is everything to spend the whole stay, everything impeccable, we felt at home, a quiet place ideal to disconnect and be in a natural environment. Near Coimbra, which is where we were going. Pedro has been very attentive and responds very quickly if you have any questions. I definitely recommend it 100%. We went with 5 friends and the place is perfect for everyone. We will return without hesitation, but next time I will do it with my children, I think it is ideal to go with children.

Tidy and quiet space. Cozy house and very friendly hostess. We were allowed to stay until after check-out. the only thing more annoying was the trash that was left with food scraps in the kitchen, but it was easily resolved. I highly recommend it, there are many beautiful landscapes.

I recommend visiting this space, an incredible location for star lovers like me. Sofia and André are excellent people, always with a smile to offer and make us feel at home. We'll definitely be back.

A fantastic place to stay, very comfortable, well equipped, great swimming pool area with honesty bar, and a lovely friendly Labrador, which was especially appreciated, as we were travelling by motorcycle and had left our two Labradors at home. 🤗☺️

Little paradise on earth. Luckily I was able to stay this weekend because some guest, decided to mess up with security system of the house and was either expelled or invited to leave... The cameras are outside, for eaven sake, either you planing to do something iligal or they wont bother you at all. As a global traveler been everywhere, but this place is really special. The place is huge, well decorated. The cherry on top of the cake, I was able to catch my own oranges and avocatos from the garden... incredible! The host was amaizing, not intrusive but always there to help if necessary

Great house, very well-equipped, easy to make Checkin, clean and compatible with your photos. Our stay was very quiet and the host was worried to the point that we arrived and the house was already air-conditioned, since it was cold outside, we love it, super recommended!

Beautiful private spot. Paul was amazingly helpful and communicative, any queries answered immediately but also he didnt invade our personal space. Perfect balance. Amazing host. Very relaxed and the house had all the amenities we could want. Definitely recommend.

Small but very welcoming home with everything we need for a great stay. The township was impeccable, Mylene was very nice and made us completely at ease. Perfect location for anyone looking to take trails and walks in the surroundings and for those who seek to escape the city. For sure it will be to repeat :)

We had a fantastic time at Hanna's place. The house is wonderful, a shame that it rained every day, if I had made a little better time we would have taken better advantage of the pool and garden area. Otherwise, everything was great. Hanna's impeccable care. We were all very comfortable.

Staying at Casa do Calhau is like being in my own house but outside of it. The house is girissima, very well furnished,super clean, with a very pleasant outdoor space (great for relaxing) in a very calm and perissimo area of the river beach of Vimioso. Mr.Bruno was very friendly and helpful. We will return whenever possible.😊

Beautiful location, right next to the river and the mill. Bruno was a communicative and helpful host. It's very small, as it says in the description, but for 2 nights was ok.

Comfortable and nice house for a large family or a group of friends. There was a lot of dishes, the kitchen is very comfortable. There were many interesting things in the garage, for example, rafts, on which we sailed on the river. Nice dining area outside. The host is hospitable and always in touch. Everything is great!
