Charming log cabin on the shore of Kemijoki

Relax along the beautiful Kemijoki River in a nice log cabin from 1811. Renovated with modern amenities in 2021. In the yard, there is a new sauna/toilet and a barbecue hut and a sauna terrace. After the sauna, jump from the sandy beach into the fresh water of the Kemijoki River. On the beach, there is another sauna and a hot tub, which can be rented separately in the summer, as well as a gazebo, a barbecue area and a rowboat. Comfortable two-room apartment close to the city center. 1.2 km to the center. Santa Claus Village is 9km away. The airport is 9km away. Bus stop next to the house. Shop 200 meters away. The equipment is great for longer stays. The bed is for two and the sofa can be made an extra bed for two people. The width of the sofa bed is 140cm. Built in 1965, the house (3 rooms, kitchen, sauna, toilet) is located in Finnish Lapland in the natural and peaceful village of Kaukonen near Kittilä. Kaukosa is home to the famous Särestöniemi Art Museum. At Villa Magia, you can admire ceramics, unique clothes, and jewelry. In early June, Kaukos hosts the Silence Festival. Near Yllästunturi, Lainio has Snow Village, a snow village and hotel. The distance from the property is 40 km (35 min) to Levitunturi, 26 km to Yllästunturi and 20 km to Snow Village.

Villa Lumia is a spacious and peaceful accommodation that is suitable for both solo travelers and larger groups. The apartment has a sauna, a hut, a fireplace and a hot tub for an extra fee.

Located in a quiet outer district! Use of the private sauna is possible between 4 and 8 pm. Cost: 20 euros in cash or MobilePay per sauna session! Bath towels are ready in the sauna, you would have to bring your own shower shampoo! Report 2 hours in advance so I can prepare the sauna. Thanks! You can use the hot tub during your stay. For firing with wood, to the desired temperature, you need about 6-8 hours. Cost: 40 euros for water and wood!
