It has a great view of the Atlantic Ocean and Mountain of the island of Pico.

This tradicional stone house rightly bears the name "Casa Vista Fantástica". Look forward to a fantastic, unobstructed view of the wide Atlantic Ocean and the neighboring island of Pico with Portugal's highest mountain "Montanha do Pico", 2,351m. The rooms go up to the roof and convey a great feeling of space. The jewel of the house is the large conservatory, wich is glazed on 3 sides inluding the roof, and which might be better be called a summer garden.

Staying by Paula was like visiting a friend‘s family house.. a warm welcome, very easy going, thoughtful little details , super clean room, feels like being home. The house is very autentic and cosy, in a beautiful position with great views of Faial. There are many good restaurants around. We were lucky to have met Ines and spend time with her too. We got great tips about the islands. Such sincerly kind, welcoming and generous people. So happy we stayed there and hope to see them again!

The ninth of us felt very comfortable and enjoyed the great view of the sea and the opposite mountain Pico. The location is quiet, a supermarket is a few minutes' walk. Thank you for the warm welcome and the beautiful time!

We had a wonderful stay in Nico’s house. The view cannot be beat! The house was spacious and very comfortable for our family of 5. Nico was extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations of local restaurants and activities. He also personally met us at the ferry terminal to help us get settled on Pico as well as showing us where the grocery store and bakery was. House was quiet and all the amenities including some Pico treats to greet us. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay, Marianna is a warm and sunny host, her apartment is decorated in her image and the view is superb!! In the evening, you can even hear the incredible cry of the Cory's shearwaters. We were very well hosted. And thank you for the gardening 😉

This apartment is so roomy and comfortable! Three couples can easily stay here and have an easy stay. The eat-in kitchen is large and very-well appointed. Enormous windows overlook the town, bay and Pico; they also have lightblocking shades when the sun gets too hot. The walk to town center is close but it is up a hill (that gives you the view!). Maria Teresa is a wonderful host and was very responsive with a last-minute request. We really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it.

Maria and João were the kindest hosts we've ever had! The warm welcome we received, the help provided in the face of any mishaps, the concern for our stay on the island... And going through the experience of sleeping on a boat in Mariana da Horta is something! The space is very well-kept and comfortable, the atmosphere is calm and the location is excellent, with the particularity of being able to park the car inside the marina. A thousand stars for the hosts and their boat!
