This place was great. The owners pay attention to the details and offered many amenities that we don’t see at other Airbnb’s. I highly recommend this place.

We loved our stay at this stunning modern home tucked away in the Santa Cruz hills. The house feels completely private and secluded, surrounded by nature, yet it’s only about 15 minutes from town and the beach — the best of both worlds. Everything was beautifully designed, high-end, and spotless. The pool was a highlight for my kids. Perfect spot to unwind and still be close to everything. Would absolutely stay again!

We had a wonderful time during our recent stay at Sean's place. The house is so spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We especially loved the large kitchen; it never felt crowded, even with a few of us in there at once. We also really appreciated how well-equipped the kitchen was with all the pots, pans, plates, and other essentials we needed. Our kids absolutely adored the pool area! It was beautiful and private, and they had so much fun with the basketball hoop. They also loved watching the hummingbirds at the backyard water fountain and the rabbits hopping around in the garden. Overall, we had an amazing stay. Thanks for hosting us!

Fantastic location and home for a family get-away. Much to see and do on site and in the local area. The home is very comfortable and welcoming with all the amenities you might need and more. Can’t wait to book again!

We had a lovely weekend with our family celebrating a birthday. The place was perfect for hosting 6 of us, walking to the beach and then driving up to Capitola and other towns very close by for celebration dinners. We enjoyed staying here and would definitely recommend others to consider for a beach getaway.

Cute house. Would advise driving during daylight tho, the roads are extremely windy and challenging at night. We had a tough time driving up in the dark. The amenities like hot tub were great. House was as described! Easy to use amenities. Would advise bringing a jacket on April.

Amazing views and a peaceful location—waking up to the ocean and wildlife was unforgettable. This was our hub for exploring Carmel-by-the-Sea and Big Sur. A short 30-40 minute drive to Big Sur for hikes, and just 10 mins to downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea for great dinners. There’s also a handy general store at the bottom of the hill. A couple of notes: This is one of 4 units on the property. While listed as “entire home,” there’s a unit attached at the rear with a door that opens directly into your space through a hallway (for my wife’s peace of mind, we kept our bedroom door locked at night). Another unit is above, and one more is detached in front. That said, everyone keeps to themselves, and interaction is minimal besides maneuvering past their parked cars in the driveway. Also, screenshot the address and key code—cell service drops near the hill and the turnoff into the property is easy to miss in the dark the first time around. Thanks for hosting us, Emily & Mason! We loved it.

We had a fabulous time at the historic Pink House! It’s better than pictured with its historic charm (incredible stained glass windows throughout) and modern comforts - everything we needed including a fully appointed kitchen, super comfortable beds, and a washer and dryer. The neighborhood was quiet and just a very short walk away from many restaurants (we loved Passion Fish), Lover’s Point (we definitely enjoyed watching the otters eat) and the waterfront walk/bike trail. We were there for the Big Sur marathon and it was a great location for that - just 7 minutes from the Monterey Conference Center and downtown Monterey. We loved all of the books detailing the history of the home. Communication was amazing - we’ll definitely stay here again if we’re in the area! Snag this spot if it’s available - you won’t be disappointed.

One of the nicer Airbnbs we have stayed at. Full of amenities. Lovely garden. Hummingbirds! Good communication. Very close to Monterey and attractions. Check out the sea otters at Otter Point.

Very beautiful house with lots of space in the living area and beautiful outdoor areas. In a great location, a quick drive or Uber down to Carmel by-the-sea or Monterey. Highly recommend!

We had such a lovely stay here! The home is beautiful, and our kiddos (2 yo and 4 yo) just love it here as well. We had so much fun eating family dinners on the patio outside, and we also loved watching the sunsets (and the fog roll in) on the front deck. We try to come out to Carmel once a year and this is our second time staying at Holly’s home. We look forward to staying here again for our next trip!

Mary’s spot in Big Sur is absolutely amazing! There is something magical about Big Sur, and Mary manages to capture and harness that energy in her space- beautifully decorated, but also perfectly functional- from the well equipped kitchen to the hot tub, wood stove, and sleeping arrangements- no detail is overlooked. I look forward to returning whenever the opportunity presents itself.

A very nice home for a stay with a moderately sized family. Very good walkable restaurants from the house. A very short drive away from the aquarium, felt very safe with the kids playing in the yard it was enclosed.

We enjoyed our stay: the home is clean and comfortable and there was plenty of room for the five of us in the three bedrooms. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the appliances and tools you’d need to cook and enjoy a meal in the kitchen or outside in the backyard. Access to the community and house was easy.

Beautiful property for families and friends alike! The large deck with games and a hot tub let's you really relax and take in the Carmel Valley views. Hosts were very responsive and flexible with our needs. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious stay in Carmel Valley!

The home is so beautiful and had everything we needed to cook at home. Very walkable to downtown and in close proximity to Big Sur and Monterey to do little day trips there also. Ben and Julie were great hosts and left my fiancé and I flowers and chocolates on Easter and gave us great recommendations on what to do in the area. All around fantastic house, fantastic people, and a fantastic town to visit.

Perfect spot for a birthday getaway with my family of four. Chris’s home in Pacific Grove is situated ideally for easy access to Carmel, Monterey, and Big Sur. What we also discovered is that PG is a destination in itself—with quality restaurants, a beautiful coastal trail, and unique shops. Chris was a friendly, helpful host-offering us terrific recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. He also was kind enough to let me know we could check in early and check out a bit later, if we needed to. Finally, he was so thoughtful on my birthday, delivering a box of delicious baked goods to me. Chris’s descriptions and photos of his home were accurate; I love the front room’s natural light, the wood floors, the solid wood furniture, and the home’s layout. We didn’t do much cooking, as we wanted to try the restaurants in the area, but it was modern and well-equipped. The beds were very comfy and the shower heads had great water pressure. Top ratings! We had a great stay at the property. It was VERY well kitted out, with everything you could need and lots of extras that you wouldn't necessarily expect. We visited with a 2 year old and she was delighted to find a scooter and beach toys in the garage to play with. We greatly appreciated having plenty of linens, towels, dishwasher tablets, toiletries, laundry detergent and even spices for cooking! It made our stay even better. The location was perfect for us; a quiet, safe, friendly neighbourhood. You do need a car though - Monterey is about 10 minutes drive away and the beach (plus a few small shops) just a few minutes drive but not walking distance. The property was even nicer than the pictures and the beds and sofa were very comfortable. We had a really lovely stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Thanks so much for having us!
