“Our stay at the Fleece was absolutely blissful. We arrived late in the evening and were grateful Steve was so thoughtful to light the fire - we were toasty warm after our long drive, and were stunned to see that the property was even more beautiful than the pictures. The Fleece had everything we needed to relax and unwind. Incredible bathtub with relaxing views, well designed kitchen, dishwasher, Weber BBQ. I never expected staying in a sheering shed to be so luxurious and comfortable! It was spotlessly clean and well set up. The sound of the rain on the corrugated iron roof at night was so relaxing, and we were warm and comfortable despite the chilly weather the whole time. Also loved the historical touches - ennjoyed learning about the history. Plenty of little reminders that this used to be an actual sheering shed and the prints on the wall are photos from the history of the farm. Steve has done a great job - I would definitely stay here again. ”

“A truly unique and interesting place to stay. We booked with intentions of visiting the zoo in Dubbo which is about 70kms away, but couldn’t go and spent the day in Peak Hill instead. We really enjoyed exploring the town and luckily Robert had provided everything we could ever need at the Bank Residence. The kitchen is fully stocked and I was able to cook a full breakfast with what was there. Great filter coffee was provided and three different kinds of milk! He really has thought of everything to make a traveler feel at home. The bank is spacious and roomy although the configuration might not suit everyone, it was perfect for us. It’s such a unique and fascinating place to stay. Blankets, heating etc were all supplied. Meals at the pub close by were great. Thank you Robert”
