Thor’s place looked just like the pictures, really cozy and comfortable. The area was beautiful, peaceful, and very private. We felt right at home during our stay. It wasn’t hard to find at all; we used Google Maps and it took us straight there with no issues. One thing to note is that it’s a bit of a drive from town, so be sure to bring everything you need. But that distance is also one of the best things about the place. It’s quiet, secluded, and a great escape from everything. The neighbors we did see were friendly, but for the most part, you can’t really see or hear anyone else, which made it feel even more relaxing. It’s also not too far from some great spots like Waterwheel and Tonto Natural Bridge, which made it a great base for exploring the area. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Our second time here and we love this place. It’s a very nice escape to nature with so many outdoor activities within easy reach. The community is so friendly and the hosts are wonderful. This place has so much personality and charm on top of it all. Couldn’t recommend this cabin more!

It’s so refreshing to go to an Airbnb that really accommodates and seems to love your dogs! We took 2 human kiddos too, but having dog bowls, a fenced yard, etc. for the dogs really stood out. It’s hard to find Airbnb’s that are dog-friendly and I get it. But I also think most of us are trying really hard to make sure our pups are welcome back! Also appreciated how well labeled and supplied the entire place was but especially the kitchen! Another thing we noticed worth mentioning is that there were no strong scents (on either linens or like plug ins) but the house was so clean it didn’t need them and we appreciate not being blown away with artificial fragrance! Bob was super responsive and easy to contact. This location is close to Payson but “remote” enough to feel peaceful and quiet. Overall 10/10 would recommend and I’m guessing each of Bob’s listings is up to the same standard!
