Lovely little spot on the river when you just want to get away for a bit. Cottage was safe, secure and peaceful.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was incredibly comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully put together, making it easy to settle in and feel right at home. One of the highlights was how peaceful and quiet the surroundings were — perfect for getting a good night’s rest or simply unwinding after a busy day. The host was also very responsive and welcoming, ensuring a smooth check-in and offering helpful information throughout my stay. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free getaway. I’d definitely book again!

Beautiful place with easy access to the dam for fishing. Staff on site were so helpful, even gave us fishing tips. Will definitely return

What a wonderful venue especially as we could moor our boat and JetSki after a fun day’s activities on the river. The house had everything we needed.

This was our second visit to Frans place and it was as if we returned to family. Fran and Rick are extremely accommodating superhosts and we will definitely recommend them and their place without any reservations. Frans is our go to home away from home. We are completely spoilt at the lodge and we are looking forward to our upcoming 3rd visit. Thank you for sharing your place with us Fran, we love you guys, see you soon.

The Host Paul allowed us to have our very small intimate wedding there.. it was the best night of my whole life and the propert is superb😍. I would not trade that night and the overall feel for anything else. I have to add that the staff member was walking around our guests and for most park of the wedding sat in the main houses' bar on his phone watching videos (the guest toilet is right next to the bar btw).. i eventually asked him around 23h00 when our guests left to please leave our house , it was quite awkward having him sit there watching videos while we all stand around the kitchen/ bar and all talking about how the wedding and night went.

As always, we absolutely enjoyed our stay. The place is well kept and peaceful. Nice break away from the city life.

What a great find! Margie was an excellent host! Very good with communication and extremely accommodating. The property is very well maintained and the house was very homely with 2 great entertainment areas, a swimming pool for the summer, and as an alternate, multiple fireplaces for a snug winter getaway accompanied with an oxtail potjie and glühwein. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the appliances / utensils you'll need, bathrooms modern with clean extra floor towers for water run off , luxury soaps and shower jells, and bedrooms were well laid out. There's a pool table, dart board and several board games to keep everyone entertained. Attention to detail included, a welcome bottle of wine, informative booklet, chocolates on the beds, packs of tissues for all the occupants, and chalk for the pool queues. There is a short drive to the marina where club access is included, with picnicking spots and watercraft launching facilities available. Highly recommended!!!

accommodation world class. restaurant felt like i was eating pizza in Italy. activities, padel !! volleyball and the pools are incredible! fishing is amazing, water is beautiful Howard and his team are an absolute delight

Me and my partner had a really great stay at Kevin’s place, everything was perfectly clean, the pool and gym were great to have and location is just stunning. Kevin was a really welcoming host, making sure we had everything we needed and more. Couldn’t recommend any more!

Apartment is stunning, beautiful views and it has all the necessary crockery. They also have ice buckets and plastic wine glasses which can be used at the picnic area which the general public also has access to. So you can save yourself some money!

What an absolute gem just outside Parys. Lovely location, peaceful and quiet. Will definitely be back!

The tent was very neat and clean. I had a blast in the well equipped kitchen. I felt like a master chef. The view from the deck is out of this world. There are so many birds around. We loved that the dogs greeted us everyday, one of them even had a sleep over one night. We nicknamed the river, birds & frogs Natures Radio. My husband tried fishing but the river came down very strong, the barbers in the evening made up for that tho. We planned our days around fishing for barbers at night. Ask Ansie about the barbers when the light comes on!!! What an experience. Not to be missed. I don't at all have green fingers but noticed how pretty the gardens are all around the farm. We will definitely be back, as regularly as possible. If you need to reset your soul, Zeekoe Lodge is the destination. Don't know how Ansie is doing it, but all the mosquitos were on silent 🤣 they were there as expected on the river but I did not hear one of them.

This is perfect for when you want a place to sleep after a night out. Chike is very friendly and welcomed us with a smile.

It was a lovely stay. Marianne and her husband made me feel right at home. The place is gorgeous and everything was perfect. I will definitely go back there when I’m in Potch again. 100% recommended

We had a wonderful relaxing weekend on Gert’s farm. Die Kliphuis is a beautiful original stone cottage with lots of character and charm. It is well furnished with comfortable beds, linen and all the amenities for self catering. It is set within beautiful peaceful nature and only a 6min drive into Parys with plenty of restaurants and quaint shops. Our favourite part was to sit around the fire in the stone Boma and braai every night. Gert gave us a warm welcoming on arrival, information on the hiking trails and a tour of the other beautiful cottages. Can definitely recommend.

Thendo is a great host, the stuff was very responsive, and helpful at all times, the place is so lovely and peaceful, i recommended it for anyone looking to relax in the vaal area. Thanks Thendo!!!

Nice accommodations for our group of 6 with clean modern bathrooms and equipped kitchen. Great open garden and lovely stoep and braai.

The stay was very quite and peacefully. Will definitely go back .
