Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Parkhurst

We had a wonderful stay at this unique home in Kyalami. The place felt like a private lodge, with quirky decor that added so much charm and character. We especially loved spotting the deer and tortoises roaming around—it gave the whole experience a peaceful, nature-filled vibe. The garden, pool, and outdoor area were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stunning African sunsets. The 4-bedroom house was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped for a group. Gary, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a tranquil, one-of-a-kind getaway close to nature.

The property was simply amazing. The rooms were big each with lovely ensuite bathrooms. It has a well appointed kitchen and a large dining room table that would sit 10 people very comfortably. An added bonus is the dining room table converts to a pool table. The area is extremely quiet away from the hussle and bustle of Johannesburg and superbly situated to get to the various golf courses we were playing as well as some great restaurants. It has all the facilities for entertaining outside including a swimming pool which would be amazing in the summer months, as well as a large garden. The house is kept spotless by housekeeping who came in every day (except Sunday) to clean and make up the rooms. Finally, I cannot say enough about our host Charmaine. Very friendly and responsive throughout the whole process. Thank you Charmaine, you were brilliant and we all thank you for letting us feel so at home!

Outstanding house. Great location, very quiet, and great amenities. Loved the fast wifi, smart TV, and well stocked kitchen. The beds were comfortable, with great bedding. It was easy to get in and out of the house as we had lots of business to attend to -- would love to stay again.

We had a wonderful stay, very homely and comfortable. Beautiful home and so peaceful we felt at home the entire time. Poppy was amazing, she made our stay extra special and by the end of our stay she was part of our family with hugs goodbye. we will definitely be back to stay.

I had a great stay in Joburg at Howard’s place. The house is spacious, very clean, and has a beautiful garden that’s perfect for relaxing. Howard was very helpful throughout the stay, and Cindy, the house manager, was always kind and available whenever needed. I highly recommend this accommodation for a comfortable and welcoming experience.

Staying here was definitely value for money. A great spot, private, quiet and Raymond was responsive and friendly. Appreciated the short stay and would recommend staying here if wanting to be close to Montecasino and neighbouring attractions. Thank you for the gift as well :)

Had a wonderful stay at Miralda’s place. Everything is so well equipped and a lovely spacious space offering a great work area and close proximity to shopping malls and the airport. Very safe and secure and will definitely return.

The place was beautiful and spaceous, offering an open plan kitchen, fireplace, braai area outside and bathtub and shower in addition to a comfortable bed. The place is situated in a gated community with free parking. The environment was also very warm and offers wifi and a wide variety of restaurants and activities to visit around the area. Pearl was also very responsive, we easily were assisted with anything. Looks exactly like the photos. She even recommended places you can check out ,gave clearl instructions on everything in the house. Will definitely come back.

This is my new home! I hope everyone else who stays here enjoys it but it's now my Joburg go-to and I can't wait to return. The apartment was sparkly clean on arrival, bedding perfectly crispy white, and the weekly cleaning service was much appreciated. I was continuously impressed with all the amenities. I loved the location; it's a nice 20min walk to a great strip of restaurants/shops/grocery store. Corne is the perfect host, always responsive. This is a great choice for a long stay!

What was supposed to be a two-day booking became four weeks! Sam and Clive's place was well-appointed, spacious and decorated in such a way (books included!) that it felt like returning home, rather than going to an Airbnb. It is private, with its own entrance and dedicated parking situated in a peaceful, quiet neighbourhood - walking distance to a shopping centre with restaurants and a short driving distance to major malls and amenities. Before accepting my booking, they surprised me by listing challenges (such as a power failure, their unavailability for the weekend) and then checking with me if I still wanted to book despite the challenges. They both met me in the pouring rain to let me in and show me around the cottage. Over the course of my stay they respected my privacy whilst checking in on me every so often to ensure I was ok and had everything I needed - and even made me a meal when I was ill! I would highly recommend the cottage for anyone needing a home away from home!

Exceptional in every possible way . We are a family of 8 from New Zealand 🇳🇿 and stayed at Mini's for 7 nights & words here can not possibly do justice to how wonderful our stay was from start to finish . Mini went out of her way and more to make us feel welcome , always on hand with a smile and advice if needed . Beautiful tranquility of the gardens and max the Labrador made us feel like family . Great beautiful home. Clean and tidy. Has everything you need. Perfect if you have a big family. Unfortunately couldnt use the pool as it was cold. Had a fire place for the cold winter nights. The Tennis court was such a hit. Shoes the care taker was very helpful. I Would recommend this place. My family and i loved it.

Stayed for 7 1/2 weeks and the place felt like a home away from home and very secure. The hostess was very helpful, and Phillipah was always on hand to answer any of our questions. All in all, we would very much recommend the property.
