Had such an amazing and cozy stay here! 😍 The place looks exactly like the pictures, and out of all the Airbnbs I’ve stayed at, I really love how the host designed this one, super homey and full of charm. I even got inspired by the design! 😋 The host was also super friendly and quick to respond. Definitely a 10/10 stay! 👍🏻

We booked this Airbnb to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and it was the perfect choice. The place has a lovely design and cozy ambiance, and the private pool made the celebration even more fun. Kulim, like much of the Northern Region of Malaysia, can get quite hot, so I really appreciated that Mr. Akmal had turned on the air conditioning before our arrival. The place was cool and comfortable the moment we stepped in a very thoughtful gesture. Mr. Akmal was a great host friendly, responsive, and honest. He informed us about a small issue beforehand, which I truly appreciated. His transparency and attentiveness made the whole experience even better. All in all, a great stay. Highly recommended!

The house is nicely furnished in my opinion and good for big group gatherings. Many bed rooms available with a mix of single and double beds which are quite comfortable. And apart from the living room, there are other areas that friends/family can huddle around, both indoors and outdoors. All the basic amneties are provided and work fine. The owner is extremely helpful and responsive, providing prompt response and help when needed. The only downside I feel is the narrow road and insufficient parking. It's convinient if you have 3 cars (or 4 if you park one right in front of the gate). Anything more and you need to park further... and the nearby Sunny Point complex is an option, but you need a 3-5 minute walk back to the property. Also, food choices within walking distance is limited to a few Malay food stalls. Overall, it was good value in my opinion... just be mindful if you are travelling with many cars, then it might not be the best choice.

Best with a convenient location and there are amenities like food places. If there is a chance will book again in the future.

Well-thought-out interior. Every room is equipped with air-conditioning, which made our stay super comfortable. The kitchen is beautifully designed, and fully equipped with everything we needed. Excellent in every way. Where do I start… the location cannot be beat. Armenian street is THE George Town street to see, and it’s walking distance to many amazing restaurants, hawkers centers, boutique shops, street artworks, and other attractions like the esplanade and large shopping malls. The home itself has a very peaceful feel, oozing with oldtown charm, tastefully furnished, and very spacious. The beds are comfortable, the aircon is excellent, the hot/cold filtered water machine is super convenient, and the washer/dryer works well. Things to note: The bathroom ceiling is quite low- if you’re over 5’10” you’ll be stooped over, but they provide a shower seat. There is an atrium in the middle of the home that is open to the floor below and the shop on the ground floor. This is no issue, but something to be aware of if you have toddlers like us that are, at times, difficult to keep calm and quiet.

It was a pleasant stay. The house is so beautiful and homey. 10-15 mins of walk, you could basically reach all the famous tourist attractions. Kenny and his team were very helpful as well. We really enjoyed our stay. The only problem we had was the praying… There’s a mosque right behind the house. So, you could hear the prayer through the speaker 5 times a day. That was the only down side of our stay. Everything else was great. I would even call it perfect. We were 4 adults and the space was definitely more than enough for all of us. Overall, we really enjoyed the place. Highly recommend it. I would love to go back again.

We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation! The host clearly put a lot of thought and care into the design — the house is beautifully decorated and truly feels like a home. It looks exactly like the photos: clean, stylish, and very comfortable. Located in a residential area, the house is quiet and peaceful, yet still convenient. There are some local homes nearby that sell food, which was a pleasant surprise. The house can comfortably fit two parked cars and has all the amenities we needed, including a washing machine and three bathrooms with showers — perfect for a group or family. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy and well-maintained place to stay!

We had a wonderful 2-night stay. The house is spacious and exactly as shown in the photos. With three toddlers in tow, we truly appreciated how much room they had to roam freely indoors. The big compound was a bonus — we brought inflatable pools and the kids had a blast ! The interior is beautiful and cosy, perfect for our gathering with friends. There was plenty of space to hang out and catch up. Everything was spotless — the whole place was very clean and well maintained. Parking was hassle-free even though we came with four cars. The price was a great deal for what we got. Eric was a responsive and helpful host, and the check-in/check-out process was smooth. We had zero issues throughout our stay. If we could suggest one small improvement, it would be to have a mirror in every room — especially for the ladies getting ready 😊 Other than that, everything was superb and exceeded our expectations, especially considering the price. The host is so nice and responsive. She also took good care of my arrival by helping me to arrange a driver who is professional and friendly. Definitely a good place to choose if you visit Penang!

I like this homestay very much, it's very photogenic, it's not close to the main road, it's very quiet at night, but the mosque nearby will chant at 5am, this is probably a problem that all homestays in the old city have.You can walk 10 minutes in the morning to see the sunrise at the surname bridge, and the mural street is also within a 10-minute walk.There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, perfect for large families or groups of friends.The stairs to the second floor are a little steep, but my parents, who are 70+, can go up and down, no problem.When we checked in, the housekeeper helped us to move our luggage upstairs, and when we left, they delayed our check-out until 2 o'clock.The room air conditioner is Panasonic, and the air conditioning is very powerful, which is especially important in the hot and humid Penang.The room has two bathrooms and two shower rooms, one on the first floor and one on the second floor.The shower room and washroom on the second floor are on the outdoor terrace and can only be reached through a door. It is slightly inconvenient at night. The neighborhood is safe, and there is no problem going to the terrace at night.
