Perfectly timed welcome at the accommodation. We chose the venue as it was well known to us and conveniently situated for both beach and town . A car is essential in this location. The accommodation was exactly as the description, simple no clutter but with all the amenities you need. Kitchen was well appointed. The Aircon in the main room and both bedrooms was very welcome as during our stay temperature reached high 30"s & low 40's. There is ample parking behind the property and very private. The property is reached via a very steep concrete driveway but this elevated position gives great views over the Messinian bay. we shall probably be booking again next year.......

Elaion Hideaway - Uncover Petalidi's Secrets

We spend as a couple a week in April in this wonderful house with a lot of space. The terrace and the View on the olive trees, mountains and a bit of the sea is incredible. We really enjoyed the nature. Nice small towns are nearby and it is easy to get everything you need in a small driving Distance. In April it can be chilly in Greece at nights but the heating in the living room was working really well and it became warm and cosy very fast. There was also a movable little electric oven and nice spare blankets. Friendly host and good communication. Great place for a holiday. There is enough space for more people to hang out and relax. We can imagine to come back someday!

Fabulous villa with wonderful terrace overlooking the clean sandy beach and inviting sea. Very comfortable furnishings and beds, immaculately clean and tidy. A stylish retreat that will linger in the memory. Slightly more difficult to find than expected, but easy once you know how. Great food options in both Finikounda (Elena) and Methoni (To Kastro, Klimataria, Sapientza), but you need a car to reach them.

The apartment was beautifully done up, everything was clean, the shower was amazing, there were some games, tv, literally everything you could need was there. It was in a nice location and Georgia was very friendly and attentive, honestly couldn't fault it, perfect!

Amazing stay at Efstathia's! We loved our stay with the family. The accommodation is peaceful, very well equipped, and above all with magnificent sea views. It is conveniently located in a charming little village where it's good to live, and that's great because it has everything nearby. Everything was together for a perfect holiday. We loved everything and leave with great memories! Thanks, we'll be back:)

We were planning a tour of the Southern Peloponnese and needed somewhere to stay for a few days in the Messinia Area. We looked at loads of places to stay and kept coming back to Athena minimal house so we booked it. And what a great decision it was! The first floor apartment was scrupulously clean and well presented with everything you need. The scenic view across the bay only improves as dusk develops and we loved sitting on the spacious terrace eating and watching the colours change. I cannot recommend it highly enough. We wished we could have stayed for 3 weeks, not 3 nights. We had very helpful and friendly instructions from our host and accessing the apartment was simple. Parking was provided and very helpful, but it's a tight space. Plenty of places to eat in Petalidi very close by. If you're looking for a place in busy metropolitan area, this isn't it however. We used it as a base for visiting Koroni, Voidokilia Beach, Pylos and Nestor's Palace. Can't wait to return.

We had an amazing family time here. I would love to come back and spend more time in such a beautiful house just by the beach. Everything was great, hosts are very friendly and helpful. It’s a pleasure to have a cup of coffee every morning on the beach ❤️
