Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Pangrati, Athens

Fantastic Airbnb experience from start to finish, Kleio has excellent communication, super friendly and helpful, the apartment is beautiful, very thoughtfully designed and contains everything you could ever think of for a home from home. I would recommend to anyone and would certainly book again got our next trip to Athens.

Giannis was the best host! Friendly, communicative and helpful, he provided lots of information and tips about the area and Athens. His love for the city and his home was really apparent. The house is quiet, clean and full of art and nice touches, he is obviously creative and it was refreshing to stay in a place with real character! The best thing was the view from the terraces, with the acropolis and city laid before you. Watching the sunset and the lights come on at night was a highlight of our trip! We loved the village feel of the location, walkable to the centre or an inexpensive taxi ride home up the hill. Thank you Giannis, you’re great :)

Magda’s place was spotless, lovely location very local and lots of nice bars and shops. Around a 20 minute walk to most of the popular sites. We managed to lock ourselves out and magda and her sister were very responsive and within the hour were there to get us back in! Very kind and helpful with suggestions, lots of hills in the area so beware! Really lovely home otherwise we loved it here

Appartement rénové et en excellent état qui correspond parfaitement à ce que nous recherchions pour passer une nuit, à 15 minutes en voiture de l'aéroport. Stationnement facile devant le logement et plusieurs cafés à trois minutes à pied. Kostas a été un hôte fantastique qui nous accueilli très tard le soir malgré le retard de notre vol. Il a toujours été joignable et a veillé à ce que nous ne manquions de rien. Merci beaucoup à lui.

Thank you Ioannis, this was my first visit to Athens and I had everything I could wish for. A small flat which was a great place to be alone in, and a base for excursions. And it was cool in style and temperature!

The ceilings, natural light, beautiful craftsmanship of the wood, REAL ART! We have travelled extensively and enjoyed some beautiful Airbnb experiences. Christos space has moved to #1 on our list. My doctor, his parents were born in Greece, advised I should limit our time in Athens to 2 or 3 days. We are so glad we didn’t. Christos created a book, which I was hoping to buy but he gave us, that is BRILLIANT. The book is a pictorial and informational guide to Athens and Greece. Which he told me he could reproduce quite easily. If you stay at his space you will understand my surprise. Everything you need is a few minutes walk away. We came to Greece because of the history and the islands. We fell in love with Greece, the kindness of its people and generosity of spirit. Christos and his place may be the best of it.

A fantastic place to stay in Athens! The location is excellent—within walking distance of major attractions and very close to a metro station, making airport transport easy and convenient. The apartment itself is spacious, featuring a comfortable living room and a great dining area. Maria and Makis were always responsive and eager to help with anything we needed.

I had a nice stay at this airbnb. Lots of stores and csfes close by.

Sehr schöne, moderne und vor allem saubere Wohnung. Alles wie angegeben und auf den Bildern. Die Internet Verbindung ist super- habe von dort aus gearbeitet. Steven ist jederzeit erreichbar. Kann diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

Ce logement propose des services que je n’aurai pas forcément retrouvé dans d’autres logements. En effet, malgré cette taille, tout est bien structuré et bien organisé avec des emplacements de rangement en nombre. Le quartier est sympathique. Je peux vous dire que je recommande ce logement car je me suis plus à y vivre pendant une semaine.

Dear Louise , thank you so much for having us at ur hidden treasure of koukaki . Had a wonderful stay at ur apartment. I don’t think anyone has paid so much detailing into the comfort of the guest . Every single thing is provided. Beautiful interiors and amenities and supplies be it the linen , kitchen ware to dryers and even hair iron to manicure care set . Just fabulous. May god bless u with all happiness, peace success and prosperity. U have done from ur heart else so much of thought won’t go in to hospitality. Always responsive which is a bliss for tourist visiting a new place , feels secured . We totally felt @ home . Prime Location with accessibility to many restaurants, shops etc . Since it’s a centrally located in spite of the taxi strike in Athens we were able to walk or manage public transport. Louise is a fab host nothing short of it . Regards Sri

Very enjoyable stay in the center of Pagrati. All sites around 20 minutes walk. Plenty of restaurants, bars and cafe choices around. Place is very bright, nice terrace and well appointed. Clean and comfortable with all amenities available. 👌👏👏👏

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Fotinis Unterkunft sehr genossen. Es gibt etliche Cafes, Restaurants und Supermärkte in nächster Nähe und auch Athens Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Trotzdem war es nachts sehr ruhig und wir fühlten uns rundum wohl. Das Apartment ist wunderschön eingerichtet, die Küche war mit allem Möglichen ausgestattet, verfügte über eine gemütliche Stube und alles war sehr sauber. Das Bett war auch sehr bequem. Ebenfalls haben wir uns über die Waschmöglichkeit und das Bügeleisen erfreut. Fotini hat uns sehr schnell geantwortet und hat uns nützliche sowie viele Infos vorab zugesendet. Der einzige „Minuspunkt“ war für uns die Dusche, da der Brausenhalter nicht verstellbar war und die Türe der Duschkabine nicht komplett geschlossen werden konnte. Dadurch haben wir einige Male das Duschhandtuch durchnässt. Darüber konnten wir jedoch gut hinwegsehen und würden sofort wiederkommen. :-)

We had a fabulous time! Our hosts were super helpful and very responsive. The apartment was lovely and looks exactly like the photos. We loved the outdoor space, especially the incredible views of the Acropolis. We loved the neighborhood and its vibe. There were lots of very reasonable and delicious places to get a quick bite (the staff at the bakery across the street knew our breakfast order after the first couple of days). All the touristy sites are a reasonable walk, but at the end of the day it was so nice to get away from the crowds and to be somewhere authentically Athenian. Thank you! This was a wonderful place to stay and we will be back.

We had a fantastic stay at Paula and Billy’s apartment. The view from the balcony is stunning. The area is away from the main tourist hotspots and has a relaxed but lively feel. We particularly enjoyed the bars and restaurants around Varnava Square, about ten minutes walk away. Namechecking; Chelsea Hotel and Abstract bars, Baba Ghanoush restaurant and Shake and Bake coffee shop. Away from the immediate area Veganaki restaurant is good for (guess what?) vegan food. Paula and Billy are excellent hosts (by remote contact) and could not have been more helpful, friendly and communicative. No downsides, just bear in mind that that the apartment is as the hosts say, tiny and the immediate area is quite hilly with a lot of steps linking different streets.(this is true of most areas of Athens.

Comfortable place in a great area. Constantine was quick to respond and provided a lot of useful information. Be sure to check the local news for taxi strikes. They were having one while we visited and it made for a transit nightmare. Luckily Constantine recommended a car service that was able to provide transport to the airport. Plenty of good restaurants within a short walk. Definitely recommend.

Lovely apartment well-located in Pagkrati! Very clean, host was very responsive and helpful. Close to bus station, metro is a bit further, but that is like most of Pagkrati. Many cafes, bars, restaurants in the area. Very comfortable. Would recommend. Neighbors can be a bit loud during the day but they are not bothersome and are very kind.

Η Κατερίνα ήταν εξαιρετική οικοδέσποινα. Όλες οι οδηγίες που μας έδωσε ήταν ξεκάθαρες και για οποιαδήποτε απορία μας δημιουργήθηκε ήταν άμεσα στη διάθεσή μας. Το διαμέρισμα παρόλο που βρίσκεται πάνω σε κεντρική λεωφόρο έχει πάρα πολύ καλή ηχομόνωση καθώς και κλιματισμό πράγμα που μας επέτρεψε να ξεκουραζόμαστε χωρίς ενοχλήσεις ότι ώρα θέλουμε. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα. Κατερίνα Ευχαροστουμε για όλα!

We had a great stay at this apartment right next to the Panathenaic Stadium. The place is clean, comfortable, and overall really nice. The AC blows cold and kept the space cool (very important in the city), which was a huge plus in the summer heat. Great big balcony, a cool place to chic, perfect for relaxing in the evening. The location was quiet and convenient, and everything went smoothly. Lots of nice restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again!
