Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Panglao Island

Brenda und Monet sind ein unglaublich zuvorkommendes und herzliches Ehepaar. Sie hat sich schon vor der Ankunft um alles für mich gekümmert und Veranlasst, dass ich sicher ankomme und alle meine Aktivitäten erleben konnte. Es gab sogar ein leckeres traditionelles Mittagessen von Ihr. Vor dem Haus, 5 Meter entfernt ist ein kleiner Strandabschnitt. Monet, Ihr Mann ist früher viel fischen gegangen und hat einige Geschichten zu erzählen. Würde jederzeit wieder dorthin. Hoffentlich ergibt sich das!! Die Unterkunft ist natürlich auch super gewesen. Fällt aber trotz ihrer super Lage und gemütlich hinter die tolle Gegenwart von den tollen Gastgebern. ❤️ Vielen Dank für alles!! 🙏

I felt safe throughout my entire stay, which I was really thankful for as a solo traveler. Everyone was welcoming and warm (even their neighbors), and the entire place was as advertised. I'll be sure to come here again when I come back to Bohol.

lovely place, only a few rooms so it felt very quiet and peaceful. a short tuktuk into town costing just 15 pesos each. had a few language barrier issues with reception which was unusual on my travels to the Philippines but manageable. lovely resident dog called RJ, melted our hearts :) thank you so much

Great place, friendly helpful staff and delicious breakfast every morning at your convenience. Arranged an excellent guide for me to go swim with the Whalesharks. Took all the stress off as he kept my spot in line as I went for coffee and rented swim fins for me as I waited. Also arranged a taxi ride to Moalboal for me. Were very very nice. Very few restaurants in the area other than street food places. Nearby mall has a food court that charges almost nothing and provides even smaller portions. Other than that which is out of their control, I had an amazing time.

Es war alles perfekt und wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Die Zimmer und der Außenbereich waren sehr sauber. Klimaanlage, WLAN und Sanitär einwandfrei. Die Kommunikation mit James und dem Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Besonders hat mir der Außenbereich gefallen. Es gab kostenloses gutes Frühstück. Die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig gelegen. James hat uns bei allem geholfen was wir brauchten. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!

Very nice stay to visit everything around (Chocolate Hills, chocolate farm Bohol). Had a very nice breakfast as well! ☺️

Staying at Joy and Billy's bed and breakfast was a treat! They have a little oasis in the middle of tiny Argao. There's a rooftop that you can watch the sunrise or set. Greeted with calamansi juice as Billy welcomes you and as Joy cooks up the best food! Highly recommend!!

Notre séjour s’est très bien passé. Le logement est accueillant et on s’y sent comme à la maison. L’emplacement est un peu excentre donc il faudra prévoir un scooter ou tuktuk. La première chambre que nous avons eu était un peu petite comparé à la chambre familiale. Le personnel est au petit soin et le petit déjeuner était excellent. Les animaux sont traités avec amour contrairement à ce qu’on peux voir ailleurs sur l’île. Je recommande vivement.

Very near South Palms Beach! Such a beautiful place!

Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir haben den Pool ausgiebig genutzt, er ist sauber und sehr schön. Der ganze Aussenbereich ist sehr gepflegt und schön. Auch unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und geräumig. Wir wurden freundlich mit einem leckeren Haus-Drink und super leckeren Ensaymadas begrüßt. Zudem durften wir schon früher unser Zimmer beziehen. Die Unterkunft ist nicht voll im Zentrum, aber in 10 Minuten ist man am Dumaluan und am Alona Beach. Es ist (abgesehen von den bellenden Hunden und krähenden Hähnen) sehr ruhig.

„Don Quixote“ ist eine tolle Unterkunft mit allem, was man braucht. Das Gemeinschaftsbad war immer sauber, das Frühstück lecker, und die herzliche Gastfreundschaft machte den Aufenthalt besonders. JR war unglaublich hilfsbereit, und ein Scooter ließ sich unkompliziert und günstig mieten. Klare Empfehlung!

My stay at Sparrow’s Nest was too short. Esther and Pedro are wonderful hosts and they accommodated my every travel need, from airport pickup to an insider’s tour of Panglao Island. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable. The breakfast (by the pool) was hearty and healthy. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is convenient for getting around and seeing the island’s main attractions; at the same time, the property is in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. I’m looking forward to staying again at Sparrow’s Nest.

A nice and quiet place, with very friendly and helpfull staff. There where wifi problems, but they placed a router outside our room to solve it. The pool and property was spotless clean.

Absolutely lovely place, would stay again if we come back to Panglao. Very peaceful as a fair distance away from the bars/restaurants so be prepared to rent a bike or get a trike/taxi which was always very easy from the accommodation

Casa di Beatrice is a cosy bed & breakfast a few minutes drive from Alona beach. It was easy to order a trike into town. The room was just spacious enough for two adults and two pre-teen kids. The doors throughout the room could use some upgrading as they were all very difficult to close and lock. The staff were always very helpful and locked my room for me every time I left the property. Breakfast was big and delicious. I would definitely stay here again!

Mia went over and above out of her way to make us feel welcome - she was so hospitable and generous! The room and house were very clean and presentable, with an authentic and homely feel. Mia was happy and very helpful in making bookings for tours, dinners and transport, and made a home cooked breakfast each morning. I would recommend visiting Bohol Social club for the afternoon for a one-day pass for pool, massage and food/drink, and also The Flaming Bar for dinner. Thank you Mia, would definitely recommend and stay again! 💕

The bungalow is in good shape and has the perfect location with a sea view from the hills. I also enjoyed not having to look for a motorbike rental because the host has a scooter for rent.

The food was amazing and the place is clean. The beach was also nice and the staff were kind. Would definitely be coming back.

I stayed at Ivory’s Guesthouse, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The house is about 15–20 minutes from the bustling Alona Beach area, offering the perfect mix of peaceful retreat and easy access to the action. It truly felt like a home away from home — the comfort and cleanliness were a solid 10/10. Ivy, the host, is absolutely amazing — kind, helpful, and always great with communication. One unique and beautiful touch: each room features original paintings personally done by Ivy herself, which adds a warm and artistic feel to the space.
