Beautiful and newly built place hosted by an amazing host and managed by a helpful caretaker. Peaceful, serene and 15-25 min drive to most locations in Dharamshala including main market and stadium and 45-60 min drive to Mcloedganj. Has a convenient parking space. The roof and room window has a view of snow-capped peaks and the front courtyard looks over Dharamshala stadium and the rest of the town. The Sit-out area is really nice up chill. 100% recommended for families, friends and couples!

Nice stay and well maintained rooms.

We had a great stay. Rohitash was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were great- they included electric blankets and room heaters. Bathroom fittings were top notch. Suraj helped carry the luggage (property requires climbing up about 2-3 floors to access), and made excellent tea (at a small additional charge). Location is very peaceful, with fantastic views. Some of the rooms have microwave/induction stove etc. There's a common kitchen too, but ask for access. A few things to be aware of: - the main market, and therefore restaurants, are a bit of a walk away. And that walk includes a small section with a steep slope. Which is mostly ok, but walking up that path for dinner after an active day can feel daunting, depending on your fitness levels :-) - all the rooms are on one level, and the common areas (dining, kitchen, living) are on a different level. The stairs are not indoors. Not a big deal, but if you're there in the cold season, can be a bit if a nuisance.

Had a wonderful stay at Banuri. The home is located in a very picturesque neighbourhood with an unobstructed view of the Dauladhars. The area is nestled between agricultural lands, providing a very peaceful vibe. The home is done very beautifully with very tasteful interiors and cozy vibe, and the host Shreshth was very welcoming and responsive to our needs. We were visiting with kids and the host was very accommodating to our last minute requests. Looking forward to staying here again on our next Himachal visit.

We had awesome 2 night's stay at Sonali's place - Studio Indique. It's a very spacious studio apartment for 3 people and a huge bathroom. Nice little kitchen in the corner of the apartment to cook or heat. Spacious dining and living space, albeit it's studio apartment. It also has high-speed Internet and nice garden outside to chill out. No TV in the apartment to spend good family time, and we were very happy about it. There are grocery stores and cafes just outside the home stay. So, you can cook your essentials or try culinary skills. Sonali also suggested us few good restaurants around Dharamshala - Sakura (Japanese) and Mcloed Ganj - Hot Yak (Chinese and Tibetan), where we had lip smacking foods. I also celebrated my Wife's birthday at Sonali's place with a delicious cake from nearby cake shop and red wine to make it special. Also, my daughter had medical emergency at the midnight, and Sonali helped us with the hospital details and guided us until she recovered. Thaks Sonali :-)

Tenzin's place beautiful to stay.. feel like home.. we stayed there two days.. we love peaceful environment over there.. no issue late night entry in the house.. daily needs shops just besides.. we really loved our stay there.. i highly recommend this place... will definitely come again to stay there..

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home in Dharamshala. The property was clean, spacious, and perfect for a big group like ours. One of the highlights was being able to see the Dharamshala cricket ground right from the property—it added a special touch to our IPL trip. There was plenty of space to relax, and we especially enjoyed sitting out in the gallery with a few drinks while the cook, kindly arranged by our host Sir Thakur ji, prepared delicious meals for us. The host was incredibly helpful and made sure everything went smoothly. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area

We’ve stayed in two of Tara’s places now and both were perfect for us! This one is in a peaceful location in upper Dharamkot, a short hike to the start of the triund trek and a Devi temple. The room is clean and well maintained. Kitchen and water heater work great and clean water on tap is a great plus.

Had a very nice and peaceful stay. The sunrise is beautiful and lots of natural light with three big windows. One can see very far mountains and the sunrise from balcony was worth the watch though you can see the sunrise from the bed as well. The kitchen had all the necessary stuff and a mini fridge as well. We had tea and coffee and the grocery was downstairs where you can get mostly everything.

We were looking for a place away from busy Dharamsala that we could use as a base to explore the area and Ajit’s home fitted the bill perfectly. Located in Naddi, it is about 500m above Dharamsala and cooler. Accessing Dharamsala and McLeodganj was a breeze - if you have your own vehicle then no problem, else there are autos and taxis that ply from Dal Lake, which is an attraction close to Naddi.  The home itself is very nice. Very clean and neat and very thoughtfully furnished. The kitchen is well equipped with an induction stove, gas, refrigerator, water filter, utility vessels and some common grocery items needed for cooking. The view from the unit is amazing - it looks out onto some village homes in the distance on top of a hill with terraced fields in between and the show capped Dhauladhar peaks in the horizon. The unit is located in the second floor - accessed by 2 flights of stairs. So, if you have seniors in your contingent or someone with mobility issues, it is something to watch out for.  Ajit’s family - himself, wife and 2 young boys were amazing and most helpful with some our specific needs. Since Ajit has grown up in the Naddi area, he knows the place inside out and is happy to guide and help out.  Connectivity was one of the best we have had in Himachal - Vodafone works great and so does Jio. All in all - great value for money for your stay in the Dharamsala area - we would come back to stay - for the place, for the view, for the convenience and of course, Ajit and family - amazing folks! 

We had a really great stay! The place was beautiful, with aesthetic interiors that made it feel cozy and thoughtfully designed. Amit and Aditi were incredibly friendly and approachable, always happy to help. One of the highlights was the detailed itinerary they provided—it had some amazing food recommendations and a great list of activities to do in Bir. It made exploring the area so much easier and more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this stay to anyone visiting Bir!

Raman and his family were very receptive and always helpful whenever we needed any assistance- from finding the location till recommending nearby places and local options to explore. They also provided us with home cooked food which was really delicious and amazing. The surroundings were so peaceful like we expected, and the penthouse live even more than our expectations, with all amenities available and cleanliness. Will definitely recommend a stay here and will surely come back whenever I get a chance.

I had an incredible stay at this BnB in Dharamshala! The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and offered a stunning view that made every moment memorable. This is not actually an Airbnb, it is a room in the Chokling Arthouse, which is the hotel next to Chokling Monastery. I never did meet Kartik, and when I asked about him, everyone at the guesthouse stared blankly, as if they'd never heard of him. But the hotel is lovely, as is the management, and the room is very spacious and comfortable with spectacular views. I loved my stay here. That said, it is definitely not big enough for three people. This is a suite for two people, even though the hotel will offer you an extra cot at a fee. There is really no where to put it, though, unless one person slept in the sitting area. There is also no kitchen, just a microwave and a few bowls, spoons, etc. There is AC, hot water, and a lovely sitting area. The hotel restaurant has extremely slow service and not many options, but the waiters are extremely friendly. This room opens onto a large public terrace area, which be noisy at night with people doing fire spinning, etc.

off the beaten path with a great view of the mountains from the room and good wifi. Suresh is a wonderful host - he cooked good meals, cleaned the rooms and common area as asked and always had a smile. the room and linen were clean, he cleaned the rooms out every day on our request as we were travelling with a toddler. One of the bathrooms was not as clean and had a musty smell. maybe that's ok for a budget hotel. Overall we had a wonderful time and would love to go back.

A great place to shy away from all the commercialized cities of Himachal. We stayed here for 15days and Aman's parents took care of us as their own children. If you are a person who can stay away from Cafes and urban hub then this is the place for you. Wifi service is something that needs improvement!

I chose Anhad House after a long exchange with Neha, after considering other local choices, and her responsiveness and clarity in communication immediately put me at ease. I loved the pics she had posted of the property; they spoke to the creative person in me. Minimalistic, but with a lot of care about the ethos and aesthetic that was evident from the posting and the pics. Neha helped guide me about transport to and fro, giving me options and helping me figure out the best way to plan as this was my first trip to Dharamsala. Nothing of what she said was misrepresented: the reviews are all 100% true. The icing on top was meeting Rekha and her family, who are the kind of people you meet once and want to keep in your life forever. Rekha's aloo parathas are manna from heaven. Lovely apartment with all amenities you have at home. Kitchen is perfect for preparing hot meals. Love the washing machine as we did stay for a month, so that was convenient. Very good hot water and water pressure for showers. The home is so convenient to the market across the street and fruit/veg stalls. Walkable little neighborhood in lower Dharmashala, with all convenience. We walked to cafes and local stall eateries, various shops and markets, tailors, Bank ATM, and pharmacy. The place feels secluded, but it's only a few minutes drive to any of the local sights. We did day trips down to Kangra Valley and all the way up to Bagshu, over to Kharota Valley and up to Mccleoudganj. Host was amazing, adressed every need or question and was very helpful with local suggestions, contacts for taxi driver, and where to eat the best samosa. Safe neighborhood, clean apartment with daily cleaning, nice outside patio and full wifi and TV. Definately will come back.
