House holiday rentals in Palairos

We had a wonderful week in George's villa, starting with a warm welcome from his lovely mum who showed us around. We were then left in peace for the rest of the trip, although George always responded quickly when we sent him questions. The villa is even nicer than the pictures, great AC and plenty of towels. It is atop a hill, with no other villas or roads close by, so you're not overlooked and the view is breathtaking. We didn't hear traffic noise or even dogs barking at night, you feel tucked away in your own private space. The pool is perfect, and stays really clean thanks to the infinity design. The loungers are comfy with the grapevine shade. We used the outdoor BBQ and sat out on the terrace every day, though if you're eating outside you will attract some flies. The location is rural, so there were lots of bugs outside and occasionally inside - not a problem, but something to be aware of and bring insect repellent! There are screens on doors and windows to keep them out.

A very nice place. We arrived very late and even delayed but this was no problem at all. We had telephone contact and Chris quickly came to explain and escort us inside so that we could put our daughter to bed. It was very clean and the private pool was super. Now the second villa happened not to be rented, so even more privacy, but even if it were, you have enough privacy. Tip for the island: Rent a car. The cottage is a perfect point to go in all directions from there. The only tip is to have more tea towels and dishcloths for the kitchen.

Stunning is an understatement. Ella and Gerard are the best hostess, very responsive and quick, helpful and kind. Highly recommended this castle for your next Airbnb stay!

Mom and I felt right at home from minute one. Marianna and her daughter Christina checked on us every couple of days to offer light hospitality / house cleaning that was included in the price. Nidri was a walkable distance away (less than 30 min) or an easy 5 minute drive. Close enough to beaches, markets, cafes, restaurants but far enough away further up the hill from Nidri to offer peace and quiet to those wanting it. We were happy to lounge by the pool or venture off to Lefkada Town or the west side of island within a relatively short drive. Happily recommend to anyone considering a quieter relaxing stay. Definitely returning. Thank you for a great stay!

Had an absolutely fantastic time here! The location is great, the house is very nice and comfortable; easily accessible by car! She is a fantastic host and is extremely warm and welcoming! She gave us wonderful recommendations and was very easy to get in touch with if we had any questions. We hope to come back in the future!

We spent a wonderful 10 days here. The house is comfortable, cool, had plenty of space for our family of 5 and all the amenities we needed. The kitchen is great for cooking, though we often ate out too. Lahos, where the house is located, is close to Stavros, Exogi, Fríkes, Kioni and all the northern beaches (with a car). It’s quiet too, save for the bell of the local church and the sound of goats and sheep. The pool was a welcome place to cool off. Many thanks Serge.

Can’t recommend Theodoros’ place highly enough - a little slice of paradise short drive from the charming town of Vasiliki. George was fantastic, so proactive and attentive whenever we needed anything and made us feel so welcome and looked after our entire stay and went above and beyond. Have to mention the view. It does not get old - the pictures here were pretty spectacular but the view is truly breathtaking!!! We were a little hesitant to book due to the limited info/pictures so glad we did. We can’t wait to come back 💕

It's a wonderful place, and hugely sweet hosts. They go out of their way to have a wonderful stay. And then they have the most beautiful sunset that we enjoyed every night. Lovely house. Lovely pool too.

Elena is a very nice person, with a great personality, very communicative and helpful. The house is great, with everything that you need for a good stay, also very clean. It is a beachfront house, you have to walk max. 50m to the beach. The beach is mixed, stone and sand, it is quite private and very clean. I would warmly recommend that house to everyone. We are a family of six and the Beach House was perfect for all of us. The beach is just a few steps away and restaurants and shopping around the corner. The host was very responsive, always ready to communicate and give good advice. They were very flexible, helpful and friendly. We loved it and will come back next time we are in Nidri.

The house was super,the hostess even more!It is in a very nice location outside the village but at the same time close to downtown and the harbour.. There is a nice yard with a kindergarten,fruit trees and very kind pet animals.!The car was literally next to our door.. thank you Panayota for a wonderful break!We will come back to you again!

We felt right at home. The accommodation was exactly as described and in very good condition. There is also a daily cleaning service. Even the check-in at a late hour went smoothly. We will be happy to come back!

A really lovely few days at this beautiful place. Everything has been well conceived & makes it so easy to relax. Top quality bed & bed linen & real attention to detail. Outstanding villa, view, service and island; we will definitely be back! Everything about our stay at the villa was about ease, luxury, comfort and feeling looked after by Eleni and her lovely father, Pano. Nothing was too much trouble. We explored all around the island by car, foot and boat, so many beautiful places to visit. Strongly recommend an evening at Fly Me bar, dinner in Sivota and a trip to Nidri and Lefkada town. Beautiful island .

A fantastic family who welcomed us and gave us brilliant advice on local spots and taxis. We were very happy with everything. Elena actively supported us in activities and was very eager to make our stay as nice as possible. The accommodation was clean and everything was thought of. The kitchen is a bit small, but we already knew that before we arrived. The grill is a good alternative to the many Greek restaurants that offer delicious food.

We LOVE to stay here and be hosted by the best, Harris! We have come three years in a row and Harris feels like family! We have a magical time every summer here. :)

We had a few very nice days in our accommodation in Lefkada. The owner was very hospitable and took great care of us. His mother, an elderly woman, was also very sociable and kind. She even gave us a few flowers. It would have been nice to know a little Greek :)
