Holiday rentals with a patio in Palaiochora

We stayed at Ben’s house for one week during our holiday, and it was a wonderful experience. The apartment is beautiful, well-equipped, and has everything you might need. Its location and the sea view are major highlights. Ben was a fantastic host — he gave us a warm welcome and shared excellent recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to try. He was also very kind and always available if we needed anything. Highly recommend!

This spot was amazing and comfortable. The host was very responsive and helped provide many recommendations for food and activities, and was super friendly. AirBNB came with a lot of amenities and was very comfortable, thoroughly enjoyed staying here.

The place is really nice and located right next to the old town which starts as soon as you cross the main road. We used Chania as our base to explore different parts of Crete but at the end of each day when we came back, we were able to enjoy some time in the old town which gets really lively in the evenings. Later at night, we would hang out at our Airbnb and enjoy the surrounding views which were great as it is located on the top floors.

Just got from a week at Niko’s place in Old Town, Chania. The place was spotless and exactly as the photos. Niko met us, even though our flight was delayed, and we didn’t arrive until gone midnight. There was water, fruit and a bottle of wine waiting for us. The apartment is nicely located in the heart of Old Town, with the harbour, shops and restaurants only being 5-10 minutes’ walk away. There was plenty of room for two and we really enjoyed the rooftop terrace which was furnished with a table and chairs as well as a couple of sun loungers and a parasol. You have a great view down to the harbour. Great communication from Niko as well. Would highly recommend.

Stavros was fantastic, as was the history of this wonderful place. Rethymno was a beautiful town and we explored everywhere on foot. We decided on walking in the morning and then having a late lunch (each lunch was fantastic) and walking back up the hill to have a light supper on the deck at sunset. Beautiful and thank you so much for the care you put into your house to make it a wonderful experience.

10/10 experience. Breathtaking views and sunset from the balcony, perfect location right on the harbor - surrounded by all of the best restaurants and places. The apartment is beautiful - clean, modern, great appliances. (The washing machine even uses AI). The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and despite being in the middle of the action, it is so peaceful. I didn’t want to leave. I will be back here again. The hosts were incredible. Kind, helpful, proactive, and made such a nice experience for us. Thank you!!!!!

What a fantastic apartment in a great location! We truly had a great stay here, the apartment is beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and has everything you need. The stairs to the roof terrace are located outside of the apartment but as the apartment is on the top floor, you do not see anyone. The host is brilliant, very accommodating and incredibly responsive.

From initial arrival, with croissants and other goods waiting, to my departure, I felt right at home. Location allowed for an easy walk to the city centre, with the beach, groceries and restaurants close at hand. Great location for exploring the western end of Crete, with parking available. Quiet and convenient, and generous hosts.

Lovely place in Chania. The view of the lighthouse from the dining table never gets old no matter what time of day. The completely open-concept space is a little bit too open at times. My friends and I found it somewhat difficult to get privacy for changing/dressing etc. The bathroom was also not in a super convenient location and would occasionally not get hot water at all. It can be a bit noisy in the evenings, it is in a very central/busy location with shops and restaurants abound. Be warned: the store directly below does not shut off their music until 23:00 and is very audible through the floor. Maria was also a great host and responded quickly to any ask! Kitchen, beds and other amenities were just right, would recommend!

Such a beautiful spacious home! ❤️ Exactly as described, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The hosts are responsive and always happy to answer any questions we had. Alexia also visited and bought some delicious pastries and eggs which we really appreciated. We were also welcomed with a basket of local snacks which was perfect after a long day of travelling🥰 Not as easy to walk into the old town as I thought as the streets nearby don’t have pavements (my fault for not checking beforehand) however it is only a 10 minute drive to the port. So many beautiful beaches to explore (our favourite was Balos, especially if you like animals as there are lots of wild goats🐐) Also lots of delicious restaurants everywhere, our favourites were Almyriki on Stavros beach and Patrelantonis on Marathi Beach 🌊 We couldn’t have asked for a better holiday and would love to visit the Violin House again in future Thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The Location was amazing. Quite and private. Everything was amazing there was nothing to complain about probably the best airbnb I have ever stayed in. Marianna is absolutely amazing. The sweetest and most caring host ever. She gave us so many recommendations and was beyond helpful. I would recommend mend this place to everyone!!

This place was even better than the pictures! There are beautiful lemon and orange tree orchards all around leading to the property. The space is clean, private, and very peaceful. I highly recommend it. You will need a rental car if you are staying here since it is a ways off the beaten path. I would consider the rental car a great compromise for such a beautiful Airbnb. There is a private spot to park so no need to pay for parking.

This house is absolutely stunning! It is even more impressive in person than in the photos. The view took our breath away every morning ! The house is about 10 minutes from Kissamos which is the small town where we bought food to cook at home. I do advise renting a car to get to the surrounding towns and beaches. The host, Ria, was incredibly communicative prior to our arrival and just as accommodating once we got there. Our flight was delayed and we didn’t arrive until almost midnight. She was so kind to provide us with food and coffee for breakfast as well as some olive oil made from her family’s business. Ria was so welcoming and helpful! We felt very safe and at peace in the house (we visited with our 3 children who are 7, 10, and 11). This was by far our favorite vacation and we look forward to returning! We highly recommend! 🙌🏻

We had a wonderful stay in a great location with the friendliest hosts. The house was large with all the amentities you could ever need or want. The patio was spectacular with a beautiful view and also very spacious. You do need a car for this area, but everything was pretty central to where we needed to go. Parking was available on the street next to the house. The hosts also left us treats which was a very nice touch :)

We absolutely loved our stay, it far exceeded our expectations. The apartment was as described, really clean and comfortable. The rooms were a good size with 2 decent sized en-suite bathrooms and the kitchen well appointed. We enjoyed BBQing on the terrace and eating outside. The private pool was much bigger than we expected and the kids loved jumping into it at the end of the day whilst we had cocktails, available from reception! The apartment is in an agricultural area surrounded by olives trees and poly tunnels growing tomatoes. This meant it was lovely and peaceful. The sunsets were amazing and view uninterrupted. Phalasarna beach was a short drive and out of season it was relaxing and a really great place to be. The shallow water meant it was really safe for the kids to enjoy jumping in the waves on windy days and swimming and exploring little caves on the calm days. Alexandros was a fantastic host, helpful and quick to respond any questions we had. We hope to come back one day!

Wonderful stay in a serene environment. Beautiful view towards the sea, nice swimming pool and large, tastefully decorated rooms. We were able to really unwind here. You usually need a car to visit restaurants or nearby villages. No problem for us, we enjoyed the peace and quiet.

A big thank you to Konstantinos and Stelina for providing a beautiful apartment for their guests. We were delighted with the layout of the rooms, very modern with floor-to-ceiling windows, a kitchen where nothing was missing (even a salad spinner and a measuring cup were there!) and with a comfortable bed. Towels are changed every 3rd day and linens are changed every 5th day, real luxury! It smells very pleasant, thanks to the well-selected fragrance sticks. For me, a good-smelling apartment is always very important and we appreciated it as well. The balcony is airy and after 10:00 in the shade, it is pleasant to endure and the beautiful view of Souda Bay is simply magnificent. Downtown is about 10 minutes by car, so you are quickly in the center, but also quickly outside in the evening. Ideal for people who want to enjoy city life but prefer to have it a little quieter. Best airbnb we have ever stayed at because of Andonis's (and his mother, Maria, who lives in the same complex) hospitality. Andonis gave us great recommendations and even dropped off a bottle of delicious rose. Maria made our stay feel like a home. She brought us oranges from her garden for fresh juice, dolma made with zucchini flower, and spanakopita. The kitchen was also fully equipped so we were able to cook at home at least two meals a day. If we return to Crete, we can't wait to stay again.

Beautiful stay! Such tasteful design, spotless home with really wonderful staff to help. The team was very responsive and had really set up the place to make it very warm. It had everything you may neeed and more! Super strong winter net too so we enjoyed working there. Loved it and would definitely suggest!

we had a great stay. Since we had our two-year-old daughter with us, the many restaurants right next door were a blessing for us as the baby monitor was enough to reach 3 restaurants. We were there in the low season, so it was quiet in the evening from 10 a.m. You have to know that the promenade runs directly past the terrace and people have a direct view of the terrace. However, this did not bother us. We were looking for exactly something like this and were very satisfied.

Stella was an outstanding host. Her accommodation is beautiful. Everything was perfectly prepared. A delicious cake was waiting for us on the table. There were also various foods from Stella's parents' garden in the fridge. Stella is very communicative and gives great tips about the area. Thank you for this wonderful time.

Gabriella was a great hostess, and always very helpful, friendly and communicative. The accommodation had everything we needed for a great vacation... Kitchen incl. everything, bathroom with shower, a large terrace with grill and loungers, and a Jacuzzi to relax. :) We also explored the region and were very impressed by many things. We will be back! :)

Fabulous attentive host. Light bright spacious apartment with a lift. Generous welcome pack , great walk in shower, large extremely comfortable beds and nice fresh linen. Large Windows and sliding doors onto two terraces , one with the hot tub! Sunset and sea views from both terraces. Close to bars and restaurants with Indigos our favourite just across the road on the beach front. We hired a car from the host and went on an adventure. Definitely the way to see Crete! The mountainous centre is fantastic and you get to discover other great places. Recommend Evita beach Bali which is just 30 mins along the coast. Truly a piece of heaven. Very sad to leave!!! Thank you so much for everything!
