Staying at Much Markle was a holiday highlight, we were transported back in time at the Summer House, surrounded by beautiful wildlife meadows and birdsong. For a memorable accomodation experience I highly recommend this historic stay

Beautiful place to stay. Wonderful views, peaceful and relaxing. Great location near to Hay, but far away enough to be really quiet. Well equipped and comfortable. Generous welcome basket with home made goodies. Highly recommended!

The Lion’s Den Studio

JagrutiRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A beautiful little studio, perfect for a long weekend ( or longer) in the very heart of Hay on Wye town. The location could not have been better for exploring this beautiful town and attending the festival which was a shuttle bus ride away ( not bad value at £5 for a day ticket ) outside the Oxford Road car park (£4 per day). You could walk the 15/20 mins to the festival. The studio was exactly as described; the hosts were kind enough to leave us a bottle of milk on our arrival which was very useful. There is a lovely whole farm style local shop nearby which also sells milk by the pint in a traditional glass bottle or you can pop to the SPAR nearby. We were a family of 3, and the sofa bed was perfect for our little one and could easily have fit another child. Great stay and we’d definitely come back again.

Louise was the perfect host, so helpful with all my questions! Lovely to meet her on arrival but then left us to the perfect private little retreat. Everything was fabulous, thank you so much.

Little Donkey Cottage

Hello We stayed from the 6-9th June. We found the accommodation both inviting and the location to be very convenient. It was so quiet and peaceful in the cottage. Lovely also to have a garden facility. It was very well equipped. Would definitely recommend and would do a return visit. Thank you
