Beachfront holiday rentals in Paignton Beach

The host, Julie, was really helpful and responsive to our messages. Beautiful surroundings and the views from the chalet were incredible. We were visiting old friends and neighbours and it was an excellent base. The walk down into Shaldon along the golf course was convenient and stunning but be prepared for the walk back up!! The chalet had everything we needed and was really nicely decorated with comfy sofas and beds. Wish we were there longer and would love to go back.

A lovely week’s stay in this gorgeous cottage. Very remote- you need a car Recommend Pub up the road for fish and chips Southern Devon railway and ferry to Dartmouth Hiring a boat in Salcombe for of an hour Billy can for takeaway coffee North and South beaches

Wonderful location and comfortable, well designed home. A little village out on its own with so much character and some great walks which are medium hard but good distances either way - to the left in the next village the Cricket Inn is delicious food and friendly staff - to the right a lighthouse. The views and beach really make this place… as well as being a close drive to Salcombe and Dartmouth. The house being is well stocked, stylish and comfortable so makes for easy living. We were a family of 7 and a dog and would highly recommend it. We did a Sainsbury’s food delivery to the house twice to make getting groceries easy and that worked perfectly too.

Really lovely spacious apartment in an excellent location. Pre arrival comms from Matthew made it easy. Found it a great base for visiting Shaldon, Torbay, and a longer trip to Blackpool Sands and Dartmouth which are both beautiful. Made good use of the Bodyboards in the apartment and the weather was kind. Great pubs on the back beach as well. Would recommend.

We had 8 nights at Jennifer's flat. It was just as we expected and very clean. Booking was easy and Jennifer was very helpful when we altered the booking. Exmouth was a great place for the South West Coastal Path walking that we had planned and also great for some chill days as well. We ate in lots of nights and the flat had everything we needed. There is a lovely view of the estuary from the living room. We also found nice bars and restaurants for the other evenings. Great place, would thoroughly recommend the town and Jennifer's flat. I hope we will be able to come back again. Many thanks Jennifer.

A lovely home, well equipped and close to all amenities. We had a great week there. Would thoroughly recommend though not necessarily for the less agile. Several steps in the house and steep staircase to upstairs. But has a beautiful downstairs bedroom and shower room.

Booked this Airbnb for a colleagues working in the area, and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. The location was excellent—convenient, close to everything we needed. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive throughout the entire process, and check-in was incredibly easy and hassle-free. I would definitely recommend this place to others and wouldn’t hesitate to book again in the future.

We've stayed at many Airbnb's but have to say Luke's place was one of the best. Quiet surroundings, an easy walk into town and a beautiful, scented garden to enjoy your coffee (machine supplied). In fact, Luke's place had everything you'd need for a perfect beach holiday. Prosecco and cream tea much appreciated. Would definitely stay again.

Jen’s place is great, we absolutely loved it and felt right at home. The space is really homely and extremely spacious - we loved playing the board games when the weather wasn’t great and using the balcony when the sun popped out. Would definitely recommend and would 100% return. Thanks so much

A beautiful apartment! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how clean, stylish, and thoughtfully designed everything was. The space felt both cozy and luxurious, with tasteful decor, beautiful sea view, and all the amenities you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The location was also perfect and nice having the hotel next door. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great for exploring the whole area. Helen was flexible with arrival and check in which made the holiday less stressful with small kids! Brixham is a lovely town to stay. The site would benefit from the new clubhouse pool & bar which was opening imminently, which we missed.

100% recommend staying here. Mark has covered absolutely everything you could wish to have. All the latest appliances, every TV option to watch.. place was absolutely spotless which is very rare in my experience staying in other rentals.. Our old dog was happy here. Place was warm, lovely bedding and towels. very close to some stunning walks, Brixham harbour is gorgeous! We would love to stay again. Mark communicated well . Fantastic host 10/10

Fantastic, clean and well-equipped caravan in a beautiful setting on a fantastic site. Hayley couldn’t have been more friendly, welcoming and responsive. Ladram Bay offers so much for a young family and our children loved the site, proximity to activities and the beach. Thank you Hayley and family for sharing your holiday home. We will definitely visit again!

Really friendly host, she was quick to reply to any questions. Caravan was lovely, with lovely views of the sea. Bit of a busy resort, but the kids loved it. Would stay again.

We spent 5 days here with our 3 children. The place was spotless, had everything we needed. Really warm and homely. The grounds of Osbourne are gorgeous, we loved the park and swimming pool. Lots of places to visit, a nice walk into town (although a little hilly so wear suitable shoes)

This is the second year we’ve stayed here and we can’t wait to visit again. The apartment is a perfect visiting the surrounding towns and beaches. South Milton beach is literally on your doorstep with great access to the south west coastal path. The outdoor heated pool was lovely for days when the sea was just a little bit too cold and the balconies were ideal for the amazing sunsets.

We’re a young family of 6 and stayed for 4 nights during the Summer half-term holiday. The apartment is spacious, clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. It is very well located next to South Sands beach and adjacent to the Harbour Beach hotel. It was great to be able to make use of the pool & spa in the hotel. We all had a great time, and this apartment will definitely be on our shortlist for our next trip to Salcombe!

We absolutely loved our stay at Boundary cottage! It’s beautifully designed with gorgeous high quality interiors. It was just right for us - two adults and two children. Everything was provided for a child friendly stay (high chair, stair gate, travel cot, kids tableware). The cottage is compact but has made the most of all space for useful storage, it had everything we needed. Highlights for us were the beautiful bed linen, the gorgeous bathroom with uninterrupted views into the fields with the cows and the lovely walk straight out of the front door down the farm track. Our kids adored the cows and the little play area was a welcome occasional distraction!

What a lovely welcoming fella. So helpful and quick to respond on any enquiry. Everything was home from home and they had thought of everything we could need throughout a short or long stay. Even fresh flowers in the kitchen and lounge. Milk in the fridge with a bottle of bubbly too. Tea and coffee to hand after a long journey. Clean and modernly decorated. Comfy beds and quality bed linen used. Toiletries provided - incase you couldn’t bring your own. Shower was powerful and spotless. Location, was perfect. Didn’t need to use the car, once parked on the driveway as the bus service was great. Child and dog friendly. So, much to see and do if you choose and/or just chill out inbetween. Great choice of accommodation and will definitely return again

Absolutely blown away to be honest. The owl houses are stunning. From the overall feel to the small details they have nailed it. I'll definitely be coming back for sure and will hold the trips memories with me for many years to come. Thank you Lou and Tim for sharing this amazing space and good luck for the next venture!

Just back from a fantastic three nights at Paul’s place. The location of the house is fabulous, just 1-2 minutes walk from the beach. It felt very homely and comfortably sleeps 8 Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sea and beach was sublime. Drinks up in the bar on the top decking at the back of the house in the evening with stunning views was real bonus. There are plenty of games to keep you occupied and we didn’t turn the TV on, not once. A nice spacious kitchen and a dinning room table that sits 8. We walked over to Burgh Island for a lovely meal at The Pilchard. Had a dip in the sea. Played golf at the very friendly and welcoming Bigbury and Thurlestone golf clubs and rounded it all off with a final meal at The Oyster Shack, only 10 minutes drive away. Will be back with the family. Thank you. George W

Very helpful and friendly hosts. Offered earlier check in and later check out due to the times the apartment was due to be cleaned, which made things nice and easy without rushing. The apartment had everything you needed even down to good coffee which my husband was pleased about! We slept well, I thought the bed was very comfy and the view from the bedroom and kitchen windows was lovely to wake up to in the mornings. The area is lovely and peaceful, very scenic. Even enjoyed not having great phone signal when out at the beach or the pub. There is lots to see and do in the wider area within a short car drive too. Staying somewhere a little more peaceful and then venturing out was ideal for us. All together a great stay with some friends.

We had a really nice time in Brixham at Jennie’s place. Just the right size for a family of four (2 young children 5 & 7). Stairs were steep so perhaps not great for the very young and old. We found the layout of the house fun and it had all the amenities we needed. Great stocked kitchen, very clean bathrooms and the beds were sublimely comfortable!!!! A great selection of restaurants and pubs within Brixham itself (if you pick the right ones). Easily accessible for other local sightseeing. Located near the busy, bustling fishing port so great people watching of the comings and goings. Jennie was super helpful beforehand and quick to respond to all of our questions - the perfect host and a wonderful trip. Thank you for having us. Xx
