Family-friendly holiday rentals in Øygarden Municipality

We loved our holiday adventure. Our hosts went out of their way for us, thank you for your local tips, and helpful communication. Their lovely home was clean, spacious, and has everything you need (and more) for a young family, including a great play area outside. Set in the most beautiful location, a perfect base to explore the incredible Norwegian area around Bergen. The mountains, rocks, greenery and water are so magnificent. Visiting Voss, having lunch on the top of the mountain by cable car and white water rafting in the afternoon. Rib ride into the Fjord at Flåm. Cruise to Modalen and trek up 'The Castle'. Helicopter flight over Folgefonna glacier are some of our highlights. Including recommended walks from the house and visiting local Golta. Everything was so incredible. Having such a lovely home to come back to each day, where everything is comfortable, accessible and just perfect, really made this holiday wonderful. We really didn't want to leave. Thank you.

We were a group of 13 people and had a wonderful time! :) (even saw some Northern Lights!!) Definitely recommend the place:)

Jannike was friendly, helpful and kind. She was very communicative in advance of our stay as well as during the stay and had some brilliant recommendations. At all times she was wanting the best for our stay and was quick to reply and help wherever necessary. We would love to come back and the whole stay was a delight!

Great house! Looked better than in the pictures. Plenty of space. Clean. Sauna and jacuzzi were amazing to have on cold November days. Wonderful place to be with family, lots of space. Perfect for bigger crowd, very well equipped. Has everything you need for babies and kids also.. Beautiful space outdoors right by the sea. The bravest among us even could go swimming (in November after sauna) right outside the house. Easy and quick commmunication.

I recommend this house . Is pure amazing. The wiew are the placement is just perfect ,a quiet zone and perfectly for relaxing. The guess is easy contacting and helpful. I recommend. Dor sure we will come back to this next time when we visit bergen

Great place! Beautiful surroundings, beautiful views, quiet and peaceful. Very cozy living room with large windows and nice kitchen with all the kitchen equipment you need. We are extremely pleased and would highly recommend this place.

Rune was a superb host. The place was clean, big and beautifully decorated, perfect for spending a relaxing week. Through his tips on things to do, the holiday was better than planned. Definitely an insider tip!

Wonderful and very spacious house (3 double and two single bedrooms, two living rooms and an office room in addition to the kitchen and dining room) in a nice and quiet environment. Especially suited for groups. Nice hikes nearby.

It’s a beautiful Place! Amazing sunsets. Driving with the motorboat or kayak on the Fjord is an unique experience. Merethe was very kind and answering every question. It’s very nice for kids too. I can only recommend it!

cozy and fresh cabins right on the waterfront. The landlord was very nice and helpful throughout the stay! We enjoyed boat trips, fishing, swimming and playing on the child-friendly beach right next to the rowing cabin! Absolutely everything😊

Beautiful place with a nice and quiet location. Good for fishing and relaxation. Nice view from the living room and especially in the morning when the sun comes straight in through the windows. Nice litle beach beside the house and a cosy barbecue house. Loved the place.

Beautiful cottage with views of the fjord, all comforts, bergen is easily accessible with the ferry 10 min by car (+10 min ferry). Our hosts are very welcoming, responsive and have good advice. Too bad we didn't have time to visit the farm shop. Great value for money. I would highly recommend it!

Lovely old house but with everything the modern family needs. Beautiful surroundings and a very friendly host. We liked the extra touches - the lit and decorated Christmas tree and the two little gifts. It was perfect for us and we hope to be back.

Cozy little cottage with wonderful views, where it can be well endured even in bad weather. We had a lot of rain during our short stay. Due to the spacious living room where you can read comfortably and the beautiful view, we still had a good time. Directly on the island you can make the smaller hikes directly from the house. If you are looking for a quiet, cozy place, but not too far from the city, this is the place to be.
