House holiday rentals in Overbetuwe

We look back on a lovely week in Huis Ewijk. We have 3 labradors (13.5 , 11 and 5 years) and a complete and solid fenced garden is therefore very important to us and that is definitely the case here. The house is very beautiful, tastefully and cozily decorated, exactly as in the pictures. Really everything has been thought of, really nothing is missing here to be able to make it a nice holiday. Upon entering the house, we were immediately pleasantly surprised by all kinds of delicacies on the table and in the fridge that Justin and Carleen (nice and attentive hosts) had prepared. Besides, not only we were surprised, there were also sweets ready for the doggies and 3 delicious pillows. The beds (really good nice beds) were already made and there are plenty of towels ready. The windows are easy to black out with roller blinds and there are mosquito screens everywhere. In any case, it is worth repeating for us, we'd love to come back again!

We felt very welcome upon arrival. Everything was very clear, neat and well organized. The next day, we met the owner who came to replace a lamp; what a hospitable, flexible, friendly and thoughtful man. A big bonus was the bean coffee machine, a great addition for coffee lovers like us. Nice garden with a lovely seat in a canopy. We have gratefully used the fire bowl and had wonderful evenings. Hats off to the owners who have really thought of everything, thank you!

The stay was very nice and cozy and we had a lot of fun and felt at home. The hostess is super nice and friendly and helpful. We would like to come back here for a vacation in the future. We will gladly recommend it!😊

This house is really beautiful. It is smaller overall than it appears in the pictures and the children's room upstairs can only be reached via a steep staircase. Everything is super furnished, beautifully bright and above all clean. The garden is large and also very beautiful. Saskia responded quickly and responded to requests. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderfully relaxing weekend away. Femke and Heleen always respond quickly, had very nice clear instructions and the cottage was tip top. Definitely recommended.

Marcel is a great host who takes care of his guests. He is available when needed. The apartment is very nice, quiet and peaceful. Everything that is needed for å week or weekend is there and the outdoor area is beautiful.

The cottage is very comfortably furnished and the hosts provide everything you need. The hot tub is the highlight. The only thing we were missing was a closet. Marlie and Mark are very friendly and provided us with tips and were immediately available for questions. We felt very comfortable and definitely recommend the house.

I booked there for four nights. Very clean and quiet house. All necessary cooking and cleaning equipment is there. Aviva is a very respectful host. I asked him for an early check-in and he agreed. On the day I had to check out, I needed a place to put my things and pick them up later. Aviva arranged a place for me and that made me not have to worry about my things. I will come back again.

Perfectly clean apartment, well equipped - especially if you enjoy cooking. I really liked the coffee from the coffee machine :) The apartment is located in a beautiful area, ideal for walks. There’s a supermarket very close by, along with other useful services like a laundry. Egbert was extremely helpful, open, and friendly. Thank you!

We have enjoyed this Airbnb! Aesthetically, the house is beautifully decorated – with an eye for detail, atmospheric and very well cared for. It immediately felt like a warm welcome when we arrived. The hospitality of the hosts was really great: friendly, attentive and quick in their responses. They had put a swimming pool in the garden for the children, a wonderful place to play, especially with the warm temperatures. The garden is enclosed, which is ideal for small children. Fortunately, there were also fans in the house, which kept it pleasant inside. What was extra nice for us as guests with small children: the children were allowed to play with all the toys, which was really a party for them. That meant we could relax even more. In short: a fantastic experience, beautiful location, we did not see much of the area because we stayed at the house, but there is more than enough to do in the area. The hosts also give tips for this!

Lovely stay in the B&B! You immediately feel at home. A cozy weekend together with everything in the cottage. Be sure to come back again! If it is sold, I am sure that the new owner will rent it out with just as much love. We found the pillows a little less (too hard) and the mattress of the bed was also a bit on the hard side.

We had a wonderful stay at Ann’s place! The house was very clean and well maintained, and we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. Ann was extremely friendly and helpful she explained everything clearly and made sure we had everything we needed. She was always reachable whenever we had questions, which we really appreciated. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend her place to anyone!

I would give Tim and Djamilla a 6-star review but unfortunately it's not possible, so 5 star then. Everything was amazing, their house is very comfortable and very well located. Tim and Djamilla were always really friendly and reached out regularly in case I needed anything. I would recommend their place to anyone visiting Nijmegen.

This was by far, the best airbnb I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in many around the world! First and foremost, Marita and her husband made it feel like home. This was my first solo vacation, and I felt like I had a family away from home. From the quick correspondence, to the note on the chalkboard saying "Welcome LeAnn", this warmed my heart. Next, the location! It was just what I was looking for. Peaceful, surrounded by animals and nature. From chickens, to pigeons, to horses, to sheep, to dogs, and throw in a peacock! This was all in the backyard. The hosts gave me plenty of local recommendations, and I was able to bike to local cheese shops, butchers, and get cheese, honey, and teas. I will be back! And will bring others as well <3. Thank you again for bringing those intangible special touches (and the fresh eggs every day were amazing!). All of these warm aspects together made this my favorite stay so far! Exploring over 50 countries and this is the BEST by FAR!

The stay with Anja has been incredibly successful. Outside and inside, the atmosphere is wonderfully rural, yet modern. Everything you need is here. The 2 terraces outside both offer a wonderful opportunity to stay outside, the wood stove inside makes it very pleasant for the entire accommodation. Anja provides enough wood. The house is cozy, but definitely big enough. The sound of the birds is wonderful. Occasionally you will also hear some other animals like the chickens or sheep from the fields. We were there for a family weekend and experienced this as the perfect location for that. Close to everything, but we did not investigate much of the area itself. Actually, we didn't want to leave when we had arrived. You immediately feel at home.

The cottage is very clean, spacious and equipped with everything. The host is really friendly and quick to respond. We had a child with us, there were even toys for him. Great, a welcome feeling! There is a lot of playground on the property. During the week it is quite quiet, so our son was able to get away from it all. Unfortunately, the dining on site is closed. By bike you are quickly in the surrounding cities where there is a lot to do, it is a beautiful area. A small tip: bring mosquito spray. It was very hot so we had opened the windows upstairs. That caused some trouble with mosquitoes at night. Everything else is fine.

Over Pentecost we stayed at Lian's beautiful house for two days. It is very bright, cozy and we felt right at home. The house offers plenty of space for the whole family and the chickens and the small garden are just wonderful! Very close you can walk very nicely on the floodplains of the Rhine. The contact with Lian was very friendly and she was responsive at all times. Thank you for that!

Lovely, clean and well equipped home with beautiful views. The location was exactly as described so walking distance to the friends we were visiting. Beautiful local walks. Close to the bus stops and short walk to the shops. We really enjoyed our stay. Martina is an excellent host, very friendly and responsive.

Neeltje's house is beautiful with a very homely feel. Its in a quiet and lovely location with parking on the drive. Inside the house has an amazing open plan kitchen/ lounge with lots of amenities (all as listed) and Wi Fi great too. Definitely will make a return visit.

Large house, good for groups and not far from the center

Anika's place was amazing, it was spacious and it had all the necessary amenities for a long stay. Would recommend it to anyone who is traveling to Nijmegen for work or pleasure.
