Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Ouray County

We enjoyed a very comfortable, excellent stay in this well equipped house. Dishes, linens, towels, window coverings, furniture were all of the highest quality; everything was top notch. The location was perfect, with a park right across the street for our toddler, and also a market for quick supply runs. Many restaurants and adult beverage establishments are within walking distance. There are several charging stations for equipment and ceiling fans in all of the rooms. Two defined living room spaces allowed our group of 8 adults and one toddler to comfortably spread out and lounge. We would definitely stay here again.

WOW! Munro & Brady’s space is magnificent!!! The space is exactly as described and pictured, very welcoming and hospitable. We booked this space for our honeymoon/anniversary and were gifted a special celebratory gift from Munro & Brady 🥂 and local coffee grounds ☕️ Ridgeway is an excellent location!!! It is out of the hustle and bustle of Ouray, but a short and beautiful 10-20 minute drive. We spent our days adventuring in Ouray and the evening relaxing at this perfect AirBNB. Munro & Brady have great recommendations, and we even happened to be in town for the free concert in the park on Thursdays.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. It was peaceful and offered the perfect environment to relax and unwind. The host was incredibly responsive and made the check-in process smooth and easy. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the space that made it feel like home. It truly made our stay memorable. Would definitely recommend to others and hope to stay again in the future!

We’ve traveled all over the world, but this house tops our list. It far exceeded our expectations: spotless, beautifully appointed, with heavenly beds and an incredible setting. The cozy heated floors, well-designed kitchen with a bonus coffee nook, enchanting primary suite fireplace, and stunning views from every bedroom made our stay unforgettable. We loved the huge deck, hot tub, and light-filled dining area overlooking forest, river, and mountains. Visiting in winter for the kids’ ski school was perfect—coming back to this tranquil wonderland after the bustle of town felt magical. It’s close to great amenities yet surrounded by peaceful BLM land. The kitchen layout was wonderfully functional for multiple cooks, with health-conscious cookware and a second dishwasher in the coffee nook. We explored the land by the river, which was breathtaking. We can’t wait to return in summer to leave the windows open and enjoy the soothing sounds.

We travel a lot and have stayed in many places, but few were as pleasurable as this place here in Ouray. It is obvious someone has spent a lot of time and investment fixing up this older home. It is very comfortable quite lovely and the hot tub was awesome!

Thor and Charlotte are gracious and responsive. Their home sits in paradise on a high plateau surrounded by the Rockies. It was our second visit to this home.

Great location and communication. The place is an interesting layout and as the other review said, doesn’t comfortably fit 6+ in the living room BUT since our group skied during the day and went to dinner in the evening it was not a problem! The dining table fit 6 chairs comfortably. Overall great stay

Thomas was a great host. When his 2 bedroom unit was unavailable, he generously offered his beautiful 4 bedroom unit for our stay. Everything was better than described. Unbelievable views and easy access to skiing

Great little 2 bedroom spot that was a close walk to the lift and a short walk to all the restaurants in town or the gondola. I would stay here again.

Just amazing! Not only does the lack of wi-fi bring you back to the 90s, but the local Ouray hot spring was truly healing. A great place to cook a few nice meals (well-appointed kitchen with plenty of condiments and seasonings), enjoy the fireplace and start hiking the minute you leave the door. I'd definitely book again. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us, John!

We enjoyed our stay over Memorial Day weekend! Only wish we could have stayed longer. This cabin had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the fire outside and were so glad we were able to use the grill for dinner. The location is beautiful - loved seeing and hearing the horses and nearby river. We hope to stay here again soon! Tara is an excellent communicator - check in/out was so smooth.

We loved staying at the cabin! The home was clearly a home, not just a business opportunity. There were so many things available to us - spices in the spice cabinet, blankets on the couch. It was decorated beautifully with very charming cabin-vibes. My one concern (which ended up not being a problem as my parents had their camper van) is that it would have been tight sleeping arrangements for 6 adults and 3 kids. The rooms could all fit pack n plays, but with the two rooms upstairs being adjoined, it would have been too noisy to have 4 adults and 2 kids share the space. But that may be unique to our family dynamics and sensitive sleepers :) otherwise it was totally wonderful. The deck and front lawn chairs were utilized a lot by our crew.

This place was better than the photos! Everything was very clean. Host was helpful and responsive & we loved seeing the deer around the property every day! I definitely want to bring our children with us on the next trip but it was the perfect spot for celebrating our 10 year anniversary!

If you're contemplating your stay here - do it! it is definitely the best place for your visit to Ouray. The cabins are cosy, warm and spacious. The best thing is they are located right on the river, which has a path into town (takes approximately 15 minutes). The perimeter trail starts opposite the hot springs (not worth the $26pp+ fee when you have the hot tubs), which is about 10 minutes away and a must do when in Ouray. The hot tubs are a lovely addition, especially if it's a chilly night. Barbecue grill available so you can cook your own food. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time in Ouray!

When we saw the fire stove crackling flames as soon as we opened the front door, we felt right at home. The house felt cozy, perfect for our family of 3. We truly enjoyed our stay here in this cute log cabin - we were able to see deer on the property right from the windows. The only downside was the driveway and the parking spaces - we had quite a large pick up truck. We needed to back the truck into the driveway to ensure space for the long term tenants. It was a bit difficult at first due to the snow/ice but we were able to manage. If you plan to come with other parties, having a large truck and a regular sized vehicle will not fit in the parking spaces unless both vehicles are on the smaller side. Otherwise, we were able to feel the true mountain experience of a log house. A must to experience!
