Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Ottawa River

Nortehaus is a great place for some private, peaceful time if you wanted to do indoor things. The sauna room was clean, the kitchen was big and well-stocked with kitchen equipment. It is ~30 minute drive to nearby provincial parks if you wanted to do some hikes.

I booked this for a late birthday celebration of a loved one. We were in awe of how beautiful it was! The view when you sit down at the dining counter in the morning is breathtaking. I was thinking of ways to actually buy the place lol! There was definitely a feminine touch that i noticed right away: Q-tips, round cotton pads, tampons. It was so thoughtful and refreshing to see something different, i love having q-tips wherever i go. Another thing, i was not prepared to how much kitchen ustensiles, seasonings there were. They really thought about EVERYTHING! flour, sugar, different sizes of skillets, etc… i plan to rebook again and again! It was worth every penny. I honestly wish more airbnb owners were this considerate in their planning. From the multiple games in the living room to the extra blankets in case it gets cold, there was a genuine thought behind it. The place is decorated so beautifully and cozy, got me thinking of moving in the mountains. Thank you so much Alex & Sarah!

Mercy’s place has a very cozy feel. The house feels worn in, in a nice way. You can tell people have lived in it for probably decades. Lots of privacy and beautiful nature engulfing the house. 5min drive to all amenities you could think of. For any music creatives out there, the basement is literally perfect for recording music. If you’re a light sleeper, one thing to note is the house is located next to a more Main Street with frequent cars and buses. The house also had no air conditioning that we were aware of, so for anyone that struggles with heat, it will feel quite warm during hot weather. For us these were merely trivialities; we loved our stay :)

This was my third time staying at this air bnb. It’s beautiful and the neighbourhood is lovely. We go to the Nordik spa and it’s a nice quick drive. There’s a cute cafe not far we had breakfast at. I highly recommend this air bnb.

This home continues to impress me and my guests, as this is my second time booking this lovely luxury home via Airbnb. Tolinge, is an amazing host who was very prompt with interactions and responses, by proactively communicating with all the questions asked. As in the last time, the home is very clean with a pleasant smell that gives you that positive home vibe. Overall, I am delighted to recommend this home to other guests.

I didn’t think it could possibly look as good as the photos — and it totally did! Great location, quiet and comfortable, spotlessly clean and wonderful host communication.

Vili was welcoming and so helpful. She anticipates every need and when asked for suggestions for dining and kids activities, her recommendations were excellent. The house is beautiful and exactly as advertised. No surprises! I give Vili the highest and strongest rating possible.

What are you waiting for? Just book! We were SO pleased with the apartment: it's pristine, has everything you need and more (even portable lights at the side of the bed!!), and it's in a great location. To top it off, Maria Kristina is a wonderful host, very proactive, helpful, and ready to help if you have any questions. We will 100% be back again and will be recommending this apartment to our family and friends.

We've stayed at many vacation homes and this one was especially comfortable. Everything in the apartment is well appointed and it's in a great location. Walking distance to the bike trail, to a new beach and to a main street with pub's and restaurants. We loved the Westboro neighborhood. Thank you!

Michel’s place was really beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. It had everything you need and more! We spent a week with our dog enjoying the perfect location and space. From hot tub to the pellet stove to the arcade game, this truly has everything you need to relax and enjoy. From pre check in to check out, Michel was an outstanding host who was always responsive and helpful. He is so kind and warm always willing to help if we needed anything at all. Truly a superb host! We really would love to come back someday.

A quiet relaxing stay even with the mix of dogs, goats, chickens, rabbit, pigs and ducks. Swimming in the lake was beautiful and hiking at Mont Morissette a must which is not far from Jennifer’s place. Definitely would recommend.

I planned a trip out to Ottawa with my wife and 2 dogs. I wanted to be at a location with the most scenic views and I did not want to have the stay near the city. This location fit my needs perfectly and I was able to conveniently use the yard for my dogs to run as far as they can. I also made sure to use their balcony as much as I could because the sunsets were absolutely beautiful. There were mosquito coils already provided. I also slept really comfortably on their bed. There were toys for my dogs to play with and a stainless steel bowl for them to drink their water out of. They use well-water as their main source, which i am perfectly fine with and they provide filtered pitchers for you to consume. I enjoy my coffee almost everyday and they provided milk and creamers. I just had to bring my coffee. The host even left us a bottle of wine for our stay. I would absolutely love to come back in the future because this location checks every box for me. Rating: ★★★★★ (4.8/5) We had a great stay! The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as pictured—perfect for a relaxing getaway. It was extremely close to Deerhurst Golf Club, which was super convenient, and also within reasonable driving distance to other great courses like Lake Joseph and Taboo. The hosts were very responsive—when the propane ran out, they had it replaced right away, which we really appreciated. A couple of small things to note: the large stove wasn’t working properly, and the dock on the right side was damaged and partially submerged, so we avoided using it. But those were minor issues compared to everything else being up to par. Would definitely stay again!

Nice place in a quiet neighborhood. Lots of rooms for a group. Beds are comfortable. Peaceful place, felt like home. Easy to find, a lot to do around. The spa and pool table was a +. Would definitely go back !!

Really enjoyed our stay in Ottawa. Arian's place was in a great location, was very clean and loved having 5 bedrooms. All in all I would recommend Arian's place.

Thierry was an excellent host! Check-in was easy and we had great communication with Thierry prior to arriving and once at the home. We had a minor issue with the hot tub and Thierry and his wife came immediately to fix it. The place is beautiful and the location is PERFECT for anyone golfing in the area or just looking to stay near the village. We can't wait to book this spot for next year! Would highly recommend!

What a lovely cottage. Our little group was looking for a nice quiet place to relax and enjoy mommy alone time. This place was perfect. They had a nice touch with the ambiance music when we came in and left us some little treats. We very much enjoyed the hot tub and the fireplace since it rained most of the weekend. It was perfect to relax, nap, laugh and enjoy. The host was very responsive and helpful when we had any questions. We will be back for sure !

The Zen House made our spring family ski trip at San Saveur absolutely perfect. The property and the house are situated in a lovely quiet forest about 7min drive from anything you need in St Morin or Sant Sau. Kids loved the pool and hot tub and sauna nice and warm in chilly spring. Home was immaculately clean and decorated. heated floors such a nice touch. stunning windows. kitchen had everything needed to cook Easter dinner but the town is so close, with so many restaurants chose to go out to Maestro.
