This is an absolutely gorgeous place that would highly recommend. A real farmer's idyll, with a lovely farmyard, a house you want to move into, and walk you a hundred meters down the road you have a swimming area that provides fresh bathrooms and postcard photos. It was exactly what we need. A cute cozy space where we had room to live and relax. A much better option than a small hotel room and eating out. The quiet surroundings and sunny deck we ideal for relaxing and we appreciated getting to meet the friendly polite neighbours.

We had a very nice Christmas - thank you for the small Christmas tree and the well-stocked Christmas bag - and New Year's Eve in the very cozy and well furnished accommodation. We will be happy to come back.

Stayed a week with our dog at Kjetil’s place and it was honestly one of our favorite rented places that we have done through Airbnb. Such an amazing host, but also beautiful house, surroundings and lovely nature nearby. If you have a car then you can easily access more places and even the big city Oslo. We hope to come back soon!

It was amazing to stay at Guro's place. ❤️ The area is beautiful and our group of 12 friends was lucky with excellent weather which meant that we were able to use the pool and jacuzzi loads. The house is huge and was sparkling clean when we arrived and kitchen had everything we needed. We even fired up the pizza oven for one evening. Really great stay and super affordable for what it has to offer.

Nina is a very lovely host. She responds immediately and helped us with finding activities and things to do in the area. She also invited us over for some mulled wine and prepared a bonfire for us. The view from the house is amazing, the interior is cosy, perfect for a cosy getaway

Warm and cozy basement apartment! The kitchen was well equipped. Otherwise the flat was quite similar in the pictures! Reccommended highly 😊👍🏼

"Evening peace" was exactly what one was expecting. Was calm and quiet, simple standard and very cozy 🤩 We were so unfortunate not to see that there was a lock, and was able to lock the keys inside Then quickly🙈 got a hold of Terese, who came with Joakim as soon as they could and fixed it for us. They were incredibly nice and friendly, despite having to drive well on a Friday night to "save" us😅 So be mindful of leaving keys outside😇 We had a fantastic weekend with a fireplace both inside and out, games, sun, hiking at a viewpoint not far away, and not least quiet. The captain's home was a perfect place to vacation with the family of 7. We were grandparents, children and grandchildren. In addition, there was room to get 5 more on a dinner visit around the large long table. The house was spacious and had its charm.

It is truly an experience to stay at the summer cottage! We just had a little bad luck with the weather, so it was quite cold, the wind blows through, but it was also exotic. But remember to bring plenty of clothes and be prepared for the cold. Beyond that, great! Very fun to see the amazing garden at Hovelsrud farm, Marianne was a brilliant host and very nice :)
