Holiday rentals with lake access in Österåker Municipality

Excellent house with incredible views, outside space was spacious and south-facing, very peaceful. Inside, very modern and great space for larger groups. Perfect for our family reunion and had everything we needed. Adam was a great host, even picked up our luggage on arrival from ferry, very much appreciated. Sauna on the jetty is a major highlight too, lovely evenings spent watching the sunset. The island shop is also well stocked and a short walk. Thank you to Adam for making our holiday a truly memorable experience.

The house is beautiful and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Pontus is incredibly response with any questions asked and if we required anything. We all had the best stay and couldn’t recommend this place more!

We came in from Galveston Texas, to visit with family & friends. We booked Matt’s place because it was close to my family. Omg, it was a beautiful location. So peaceful. We were so rejuvenated after we got there after a long flight. Perfect place to come to after the hectic days. If & when we come in again, we will be calling on y’all. Thanks so much!

We had a wonderful time at Harry's place! The views are spectacular and the pictures don't match the real experience. The house is very cozy and all amenities one could need are there. In particular, our children loved the place and the location on the island. There are numerous spots to hide and to explore, several toys for the sea etc etc. Harry was a very responsive and generous host who helped us with all the little issues that we did come up with. We would certainly love to come back!

This is a truly beautiful hideaway with fantastic hosts! The house is modern and very comfortable, perfectly suited to relax. Remember you are on an island - If you love spending time near and on the water, this place is for you!

Marie was helpful and responsive. Her home is gorgeous. It was a perfect place for a getaway with friends. The house has a few larger areas to hang out plus a beautiful kitchen. The yard was also away from the road which was comforting with smaller kids. There is a pool at a neighboring property which was a bit of a surprise (we didn't want a pool close by with small kids) but it was easy to monitor that as well and it had a fence around it. We would love to stay here again!

Lots of windows. Beautiful light. Very minimalistic atmosphere which gave a calm and peaceful feeling. Cozy front room with windows, daybed and surrounding views of boats passing by was perfect for coffee and relaxation. Elisabet is an excellent, responsive and kind host. While you cannot take a car there, they have two hand carts available to use when you arrive. If you don’t mind walking, it is a good walk with your suitcases in the carts from the ferry to the home and you’ll get a lot of wildlife, animals and things to see. We enjoyed the nature. Water everywhere. The sunsets were beautiful. Private beach to use (visible to everyone but not available). A sweet market just down the hill with almost everything you may need for a few days. A boat, kayak, SUPs and linens for rent—ask to reserve them ahead of your stay. We loved the experience.

Best stay ever!!! Es war unglaublich schön, sodass ich spontan noch eine Woche verlängert habe. Das Haus ist so niedlich, gemütlich, perfekt ausgestattet und außergewöhnlich sauber! Bei Ankunft haben mir Robert und Diana die Umgebung gezeigt. Die beiden sind so herzlich und vor Ort und per Nachricht immer erreichbar und unglaublich hilfsbereit. Sie geben super Tipps für Unternehmungen, Restaurants etc. Der See ist wirklich direkt vor der Tür, sehr sauber und toll zum Schwimmen. Ich konnte mir das SUP jederzeit leihen. Auch das Meer ist nur 2 Minuten entfernt. Ich werde die Tage dort niemals vergessen und bin sehr wehmütig abgereist. Ich hatte selten eine so perfekte Unterkunft! DANKE!

Нам дуже сподобалося провести наш час в в помешканні Uzi :) дуже охайна та затишна квартира в тихому районі , де легко можна знайти гарні ресторани або бари. Дуже зручно дістатися на громадському транспорті, до центра міста зовсім поруч. Господар був дуже привітний і допоміг нам у наших питаннях) Нічого негативного сказати не можу, нам все сподобалося дуже) якщо ми ще будем приїжджати в Стокгольм то будемо точно залишатися тільки тут :)

We stayed at Christian and Jaquemine's place for 30 days, and it was our first Airbnb experience. The flat is in a lovely and quiet neighbourhood. The nearby areas are perfect for hiking, with beautiful lakes, islets, beaches, and green forests with deer and other wildlife. Although the location seems far from the city on the map, frequent buses to Slussen take just 30 minutes, making it easy to reach the city centre whenever we wanted. I worked remotely during our stay, and the internet connection and workspace were excellent. The flat has everything one might need, and we never had issues wanting specific items, making it ideal for longer stays. I slept in both sleeping areas, and both were comfortable and spacious. The hosts were welcoming and kind. When my flight was postponed, they kindly offered to store my luggage even after check-out. They provided many thoughtful offers, showing how helpful and caring they are. I have no complaints and highly recommend it!

The place is beautiful . Extremely clean, comfortable and warm. The yard behind is lush green and we saw deer on both days! The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had all amenities possible . Highly recommend their space .

Diese Unterkunft auf der Insel Elgön ist ein Paradies. Das Gedankengut des Besitzers ist sehr ökologisch (Abfallentsorgung, Bio-Toilette, Kompost und eine PV-Anlage auf dem Dach). Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll und zweckmässig eingerichtet und die verschiedenen Sitzecken im Garten laden zum Entspannen ein. Da ab dem 21. 8. der Fährfahrplan sehr ausgedünnt war, gab es nicht täglich eine Verbindung auf das Festland. Das Ruderboot war dann ideal zum Einkaufen.

Wir haben zu viert eine Woche in dem Haus von Patrick und Karin auf Edholma verbracht und sehr genossen. Edholma ist eine wunderschöne autofreie und naturnahe Insel, auf der man sich wirklich auf völlige Entspnnung fokussieren kann. Auch das Haus ist gemacht, um sich darin einfach nur wohl zu fühlen. Es ist total modern und stilvoll eingerichtet, sauber und sehr geräumig. Wenn man auch die Stadt kennenlernen und erkunden möchte, kommt man mit der Fähre problemlos nach Vaxholm (circa 5 Minuten) und Stockholm (circa 1 Stunde 20 Minuten). Die Fähren fahren zwar nicht zu oft durch die wunderschönen schwedischen Schärengärten, wenn man sich aber über die Fahrpläne informiert, ist die Planung kein Problem. Wir haben dazu die SL-App verwendet. Sollte es trotzdem noch Fragen oder kleine Problemchen geben, ist die Kommunikation mit Gastgeber Patrick einwandfrei und bemerkenswert schnell verlaufen. Wir haben die Zeit in Schweden wirklich sehr genossen und würden gerne mal zurückkehren.

Ditti and John are very nice and helpful hosts. Lovely stuga, nice island and excellent point to visit Stockholm by boat. Ditty is very kind and nice to talk with. Very recommended.

The Sea Cottage was beautifully decorated with everything we needed for a lovely stay. The jetty for me was the stand out though- just sitting with a drink and watching the sun go down. We really enjoyed our stay in tranquil surroundings. Well worth a visit.

Nous avons fini notre voyage de 15j en Suède de la plus belle des manières avec cette petite semaine chez Jan. Nous nous sommes immédiatement sentis à l'aise dans la maison, que ce soit les adultes ou notre fille de 3 ans. Le calme est parfait, la maison excellement équipée et les petites attentions de Jan complètent ce tableau idyllique. Petit bonus, la barque prêtée par Jan (avec gilets de sauvetage dans de multiples tailles) permet des promenades et même des parties de pêche (là aussi, équipement fourni)! Nous étions véhiculés, mais la proximité du terminus de bus permet de rejoindre soit le petit supermarché en 5min ou l'embarcadère de Vaxholm en 30min moyennant une correspondance. Le calme est absolu, et les biches visitent le jardin (immense!) matin et soir. Pour couronner le tout, Jan est un hôte accueillant et présent sans être envahissant, l'un des tous meilleurs de nos expériences Airbnb et autres. Il a rendu notre séjour inoubliable!

Andra gången i sjöstugan och vi kommer gärna tillbaka. Otroligt mysig, fantastiskt läge och underbart att komma ifrån stan ett tag. Joe fick oss att känna och väldigt välkomna och bad till och med grannen stänga av sin hög-frekvens fågelskrämma åt oss. Tack!

Vi hade en underbar vistelse i denna gulliga stuga i en riktig skärgårdsidyll. Köket hade allt man behövde och sängen va fräsch med förmodligen väldigt nya madrasser och täcken. Bastun va ett stort plus och det var jättetrevligt att vi fick låna båten för att ro omkring med. Gabriel var väldigt hjälpsam och trevlig.
