Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Orvieto

Es war ein traumhafter und magischer Aufenthalt in Cetona. Ein sehr freundliches Ehepaar empfing uns bei der Ankunft und zeigte uns die malerische Unterkunft mit Blick auf die Berge und Cetona. Es fehlte an nichts, an alles wurde gedacht ( sogar Mosquito Netze in den Fenstern) und man hat sich einfach rundum wohlgefühlt. Auf den Tip des Gastgebers hin, konnten wir am Abend vor unserer Abreise sogar Glühwürmchen im Garten bewundern;-) Auch bei Abreise wurden wir gebührlich verabschiedet mit netten Gesprächen mit dem Gastgeber. So hat man dieses wunderbare Land noch ein wenig besser kennengelernt...:-)

La casa è curata nei minimi dettagli ed è veramente splendida in ogni suo aspetto! Non c'è dettaglio che non sia pensato, è una sistemazione davvero perfetta per tre persone. All'interno del salotto è presente anche la televisione, che non era indicata tra i servizi. Il camino, il biliardo, la vista sulla vallata hanno reso il nostro soggiorno unico. Speriamo di poter tornare al più presto.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno meraviglioso! Anna è stata estremamente gentile e precisa fin dal primo contatto, fornendoci tutte le istruzioni in modo chiaro e puntuale. All’arrivo siamo stati accolti da Cinzia, una persona squisita che ci ha fatto fare il giro della casa e ci ha subito fatti sentire a nostro agio. La casa è perfetta per chi cerca un po’ di pace lontano dal caos della città: silenziosa, immersa nel verde e con un’atmosfera rilassante. Un grande punto a favore è la totale accoglienza verso gli animali: i nostri cuccioli si sono goduti il giardino completamente recintato in totale sicurezza e libertà, il che ha reso il soggiorno ancora più piacevole per tutta la famiglia. Torneremmo sicuramente e lo consigliamo a chiunque cerchi un posto tranquillo, ben tenuto e gestito con grande cura. Grazie ancora ad Anna e Cinzia!

If you are looking for a little piece of heaven look no further. Vignoni Alto is peaceful and incredibly beautiful. Stefano met us and showed us everything about the apartment and the historic hamlet. His instructions and recommendations were very helpful. The apartment is not far from the restaurants in Bagno Vignoni. Stefano really is a perfect host—responsive, friendly and proactive. Our only regret was that after a week we had to leave.

If you are looking to spend a few days exploring Orvieto, this is the perfect location! It is within easy walking distance to everything - restaurants, shops & the attractions. Highly recommend parking down below at the train station & taking the funicular up. You can take a shuttle from the funicular to the duomo for a small fee & walk from there. We thoroughly enjoyed this visit & location.

A truly wonderful place, no other place like it. Really worth seeing but only if you are able to handle the 54 step very narrow spiral staircase. The house is on 4 levels linked by the stairs, wouldn’t be suitable for young children or the elderly. Deborah was a great host as was Paula.

O apartamento de Elena é moderno e estava muito limpo, organizado, muito bem equipado e abastecido com itens básicos essenciais. Além disso, Elena mantém uma cozinha a disposição dos seus hóspedes. O local é muito agradável, silencioso e com uma vista linda das colinas da Toscana, além de estar muito bem localizado, muito perto de Montepulciano, Siena, Pienza e Montalcino. Ótima base para explorar com calma essa região da Toscana. E Elena foi uma anfitriã sensacional, sempre presente e a disposição, mas sempre muito discreta. Com certeza recomendo.

Our apartment was stunning. From the frescos painted in 1840 on the walls, to the renovated bathrooms, kitchen, etc, it was stunning. I know can see why it was showcased in some architectural magazines. We were sad we could only stay one night. Definitely was of the coolest AirBnBs you will ever find. The medieval town of Orvieto is a gem and we loved all that we were able to see and do in a short stay. Achim was a fantastic host and took care of every detail in our place and even helped with our luggage! We hope to come back someday and will be sending friends his way! Thank you!!

My wife, brother-in-law, and I had an incredible time in Montepulciano, and Giacomo’s apartment was the perfect place from where we started out daily adventures, took afternoon naps, and then headed out for fantastic dinners. Giacomo’s apartment was excellent, making it easy to get settled after a long day of travel. Giacomo guided us into the temporary parking spot when we got lost for a few minutes, and was quick to assist with any questions we had during our stay. The restaurant recommendations were all excellent, as well as the other activities he suggested. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Montepulciano!

Die Wohnung hat uns sehr gut gefallen, alles ist in direkter Nähe zu erreichen. Der Ausblick ist fantastisch! Wir haben entspannte 2 Tage in Pitigliano verbracht. Hinweis: Es sind mehrere Treppen zur Wohnung vorhanden. Vor dem Haus sind direkt kostenpflichtige Parkplätze.

This is Tuscany at its finest! Our stay at Casa Bonari was perfect. The villa inside was spacious, beautiful, comfortable, and wonderfully Italian. It was equipped with everything we needed. The exterior grounds were gorgeous and the views from the property in every direction were breathtaking. We made dinner and ate on the patio - it looked like a picture from a magazine. The villa is within easy walking distance of the charming Monticchiello which has a few excellent restaurants. We enjoyed strolling the picturesque streets and the incredible views of the countryside from the village. Our hostess, Valentina, was very gracious and helpful. We enjoyed meeting some of the friendly family members. They were so kind and left us with happy memories. We highly recommend Casa Bonari and hope to visit again.

This was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. The location is perfect for exploring Orvieto since everything is within a 15 minute walk. It is located on the main shopping street with lots of restaurants and a Pam food market very close by. The apartment is very clean and beautifully decorated and incorporates interesting architectural details relating to the history of the home. The kitchen was well equipped and had coffee of various kinds which we greatly appreciated. We especially enjoyed the Orvieto Underground tour and hiking the Ring of the cliff trail ( Anello della rupe) which took us about 4 hours with stops at all the points of interest. It is quite hilly in parts, so wear appropriate shoes and bring water and sunscreen. The Etruscan burial grounds (Necropoli etrusca) were definitely worth the short detour off the trail. Lastly, Valerie and Roberta were excellent hosts with timely responses before and during our trip. We would love to stay here again someday!

Ein wunderbarer Rückzugsort im Herzen von Pitigliano. Die Wohnung ist so schön und behaglich und ganz besonders - man freut sich jedesmal aufs nach-Hause-Kommen und will gar nicht wieder weg. Beatrice und ihr Mann sind super professionelle und gleichzeitig sehr herzliche Gastgeber. Wirklich eine Empfehlung!

We absolutely loved it here. It was a beautiful, private location. The lodging itself was wonderful and looks exactly like the pictures. Definitely book an olive oil tasting as well! FYI The location is a bit remote, and a car is a must.

We had a really lovely stay at apartamento Mia. The apartment is beautiful and is in a great location to see all the sights of Orvieto. It was also great that there was parking available, and Juna gave us really helpful directions to avoid the limited traffic zone! Everything was within walking distance and Juna gave us lots of recommendations for places to eat and things to see nearby. Grazie Mille Juna!

Appartamento pulito, ampio e confortevole ,abbiamo alloggiato per cinque giorni e ci siamo sentiti come a casa. Si trova in ottima posizione per raggiungere i principali luoghi turistici. Abbiamo apprezzato il posto auto riservato. Sicuramente da consigliare .

This was by far the most beautiful view we have ever had at an Airbnb or hotel room. The house was beautiful, but the sunrise from the balcony is something I will remember forever. Vittorio also offered recommendations, and Fulvia was flexible with our check in. The apartment is in the perfect spot to become familiar with town. We want to come back to stay here again. It is a great place to stay and feel the quiet and peace of Tuscany! My family and I really enjoyed it. The apartment is really nice, with a unique style inside an ancient house. And without a doubt, it has one of the best views from the kitchen and terrace that I have ever seen!

We had the best time!! The cutest little apartment with a nice little balcony. Loved the exposed beams and the kitchen. It was very walkable to great restaurants and scenic views, also far enough away were you are not worried about noise at night. Host was super responsive and had excellent recommendations on where to eat and what to do!

I can’t say grazie enough to Gessica and Bernardino! Such nice people. The apartment is one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in. Pictures don’t do it justice. It has everything you could ever need. The view from the balcony made it hard to leave. Hopefully we will be back! Grazie Mille!!
