Holiday rentals in Órmos Athiniós

We had a fantastic stay at this spacious Airbnb! The home was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our group of friends. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves, and the common areas were great for hanging out together. The host was responsive and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches and how well-equipped the place was. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy and roomy place to stay with friends!

My mother and I had a fantastic stay! Katerina was so responsive and helpful that I had to let my mom know this is not standard at an AirBnB and that Katerina was going way above and beyond! She arranged airport pickup for us, an ATV that was dropped right off at the accommodation, and a personalized private wine tour that later dropped us off at the port to catch our ferry! The apartment itself was beautiful! The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom felt luxurious. But the real superstar was the view! Breathtaking. The town of Megalochori was a 15min stroll along the caldera away with a couple of tasty restaurants. Cannot recommend Raki enough! And the Family Bakery just a 5 min walk away was delicious as well. Although, if you’d like to visit Fira or the other towns, you’d need to catch the bus (only accepts cash) which has a stop right out front (also a stop in front of the bakery). We will be recommending to our family and friends who want a serene Santorini experience.

It was such a nice place to stay. Away from the business of the main towns in Santorini, but only a 5 minute drive from the heart of Fira. Truly perfect if you want peace and quiet, with the ability to get into town quickly for the lively atmosphere.

We had an awesome time at the Villa and everything was perfect! The host Theo was just wonderful and gave us great recommendations and advice. In our opinion, the local area Pyrgos is the nicest place to stay in Santorini to experience the local culture. It had beautiful cafes, restaurants and bars where one can witness mesmerising sunrises and sunsets. We highly recommend it!

This place is so lovely from the gorgeous views, updated spacious rooms, large decks, beautiful pool overlooking the water, and even a little private hot tub tucked into the hillside. The service is beyond compare. Each morning we were served a delicious breakfast on our deck overlooking the water. There was attention to detail in every way. Ruben is such a kind, attentive and helpful young man. We felt like we were leaving a new friend when it was time to check out!

Wow! We had a magical stay here. We are a family of 5. This was ideally located far enough from the noise of fira and oia . Incredible views so much so that everyone wants to take photos right outside your rental. What made this place even more special was Alexandra and Bona. They were nothing short of spectacular…..Bona served bfast on the patio which was amazing. Alexandra helped us plan our stay and we really didn’t have to do any work for it. She took care of all the details from jet skis to transfers to restaurant recs. Worth every penny to us. The place was beautiful, comfortable, and authentic. Highly recommended.

What if you could sneak away for four nights to Santorini? Cool. What if the house was off the road so there would be no cars and a porter met your car at the nearby pickup point to carry all of your bags to the house? Brilliant team. What if you had someone show up every morning to prepare you a delicious breakfast? Outstanding. (I can hear you, “Wait! Is this your real life?” Yes when you stay at Opera Mansion.”) What if the food was served two floors above the house to enjoy a view of the Santorini Calderon? Unreal. The entire stay was a dream. The only disappointment was when the same porter was at the door at 4:30 am our last morning to carry too many bags of luggage and shopping back to a car to head to the airport. Nice man and a great driver to the airport. Incredible experience. The property is beautiful. The location is idyllic. The service was glorious. And Maria is a bonafide rock star. Stay there and be amazed.

One of our all-time favorite Airbnb stays! This was our first trip to Santorini, and we couldn’t be happier that we chose to stay in Pyrgos. While Fira and Oia were packed with tourists, Pyrgos offered the perfect contrast—peaceful, charming, and relaxed, which suited us perfectly. Demeter Cave House was a dream. It felt like our own private sanctuary—quiet, cozy, and the ideal place to unwind and get truly restful sleep. The location was fantastic, with many spots within walking distance, including our favorite restaurant, Penelope’s. If you go, please try their Briam (Greek ratatouille)—it was easily one of the best meals we’ve ever had. And don’t miss the sunset from there—it’s absolutely magical. Danny and Andrew were incredible hosts. From helping with our luggage to greeting us with chilled water and a bottle of wine, they made us feel genuinely welcomed. You will absolutely fall in love with this place—we sure did.
