There is a seasonal garden lot by the House as well as an orchard where guests can pick fruit in season, surrounded by a view is of the breathtaking forested Trinity Mountains. Tranquility awaits as you take a dip in the hot tub and relax by the fire pit, soaking up the sounds of sea lions, the views of migrating whales, and sunsets and stargazing galore. Tide-pooling, agate hunting, and exploring Sue-Meg State Park is just a short drive down the road.

Welcome to Serenity Garden where you will find the Cottage situated amongst tranquil Redwoods. Enjoy this cozy 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom cottage. Just outside your door you will find a manicured 3-acre blissful escape from the hustle of life. Explore old growth redwood stumps, watch birds and pollinators work in the sun, and close your eyes to absorb the sound of the waterfall at the pond. Pick fresh berries or fruit when it is in season, and enjoy soaking up the peace.

Fern Hook Vacation Cabins are located nearby Jedidiah Smith State Park in the tiny hamlet of Hiouchi, California. Indulge yourself in a private setting of magnificent redwoods carpeted with ferns. Our newly constructed cabins with full kitchens will provide deluxe accommodations while you enjoy this natural wonderland. We are pet friendly, but require a 30$ per pet fee, for each reservation.
