Family-friendly holiday rentals in Ommen

A charming spot to enjoy nature and truly disconnect. The owner was exceptionally kind and welcoming. We were two couples, and while the place felt a bit smaller than it appeared in the photos, it was still perfectly comfortable for a short stay. Highly recommended!

A beautiful chalet, overlooking several meadows. The cottage is really equipped with EVERYTHING. I think I've never been in such a well-equipped holiday home. You don't need to bring anything except your suitcase. We enjoyed the cozy living room with large TV, dining table and (gas) fireplace. We did not use the sauna but looked nice. The bedrooms are pleasantly arranged and the (single) beds are well laid out. In the entire property is under-floor heating. Very pleasant, also in the bathroom. The bathroom is very nice with a large bathtub and bubble features! The shower was a little dated (especially spray head) with a tight cabin. That was the only point that could possibly be improved in the future. But it doesn't detract from the great week we've had. In the area are beautiful forests for a walk and cozy towns/villages. For us this stay is absolutely subject to repetition and highly recommended for future tenants!

We had a great weekend with fantastic weather! The house is perfect for a short break and offers pure relaxation with sauna and hot tub. The host was available at all times after we received contact information from the intermediary. The only small drawback: AirBnb offers amenities, which may not be available on site. Intermediaries and owners should coordinate again here.

A lovely place with plenty of space to enjoy. The hot tub and pool are really added value. We enjoyed ourselves every second.

Had a great weekend. Enjoyed the nice garden with various seats and of course the wellness. Cottage really has all the comforts and the bed was very comfortable. Beautiful quiet area and a 20-30 minute drive from various nice cities. Joop and Thea are very friendly and are there for you immediately. In short, highly recommended!

Super cute and cozy cottage! The fireplace was really delicious and cozy. We decorated the whole cottage with Christmas decorations and it was so cozy. The owner loved this too! Furthermore, you have everything you need there so you have quite little to bring. In addition, you also have beautiful views of the horses and sunset. Definitely recommended!

I have never experienced such good-hearted people! We were welcomed with open arms and felt right at home. Cleanliness is a top priority for hosts. Although we were only there for 2 days, they looked at the pool again in between and looked for cleanliness. We highly recommend this place & we will definitely take another break there. Everything was as described on the site. Great reception. Spacious house with many windows making it a lot of daylight and it is pleasant to stay. Everything we needed was present. Everything was neat and clean. We'd love to come back.

We met a week with beautiful weather: outside (garden, view, freedom) is unique! The cottage itself is comfortably furnished, everything present, clean, fine! If you are looking for peace and space, with culture (e.g. Hanseatic cities) and nature nearby (by car), this is absolutely recommended! We will almost definitely be back!

Nice reception, including fresh eggs. Everything is spacious. Atmospheric. Everything you want is present. Large sofa is nice. Delicious garden, fence is great with dog. Very quiet location. Very great stay.

Cannot say enough great things about this place. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle and relax for a bit, this is the place to do it. We brought our 3 young kids here and they had such a great time. The kids were able to really participate in working on the farm. The owners of this place were the nicest people. The earth houses were very nice and modern despite being on a farm. Will definitely be going back soon!!

Upon arrival, we were personally greeted by Astrid & Erik. They are very warm hosts. We enjoyed 4 wonderful days in the luxury farmhouse apartment number 3. Everything was spotless and what you need is provided. The view of the meadow is beautiful. Birds, hares, wild geese... we saw them from the apartment/terrace. We could continue to marvel at the beautiful nature. The location is extremely quiet. We took walks in the perimeter. This is also ideal for those who bring their bicycles. This is an ideal base. We had a fantastic time with Astrid and Chris! Everything was possible and nothing was too crazy! We enjoyed the house, the sweet dogs, the heated pool, the hot tub, the pizza hut and the great welcome and all the coziness! It is a wonderful house and with nice sofas and great fireplace and cozy decor. We are very grateful for this fantastic family weekend together. Thank you!!

Beautiful area and great nature to hike. We loved it. Emmy’s place is perfect for a couple of days away from the city, we spent new years at her place. Since it was winter we didn’t sit outside. I can imgaine in summer time there is not that much privacy since the cabin is part of a parc with lots of cabins. We also paid a visit to Ommen. Nice town. Love to stay again!

The house is nicely located on the edge, so quiet. Modern and tastefully furnished. Bathroom is downstairs by a bedroom so convenient for the elderly. The kitchen may be slightly better equipped with, for example, a saucepan. Nice that there is a toilet upstairs, but it is small and there is a toilet roll holder missing. A coat rack in the bedrooms or high closet would also be useful. Furthermore, we had the space with 6 people.

We had a wonderful weekend and that was not only due to the beautiful weather. Nice house where really everything was present. From pool to fireplace. Some guests had been given painful backs on the wooden outside furniture despite the cushions😂 We enjoyed it with the children and (big) grandchildren, great!

I had a lovely weekend in this nice holiday home. The holiday home is spacious and comfortable and is located on a beautiful and cozy holiday park. Due to the space location of the holiday homes, you hardly notice that there are other visitors. In the surrounding area, there was plenty to do. It is a fifteen-minute drive to the Sallandse Heuvelrug, where you can take beautiful walks. In addition, there are also plenty of other outings to make, so you don't get bored. There are also plenty of amenities in the park itself. There is a restaurant with friendly service, a bowling alley and swimming pool. For children, there are plenty of playgrounds. You don't have to be bored! The communication with Marina was very pleasant. She was proactive and very friendly. I got a quick response to questions. All in all, a pleasant place to go to.

The cottage of Henk is quiet and has all the comforts. It is nicely decorated and there is a big garden all around. As far as we are concerned, it is highly recommended
