Holiday rentals with an EV charger in Old Town, Alexandria

This is our second time staying with Wanda and it was even better than the first time. The kitchen is well stocked with whatever you need if you like to cook your own food. But if that’s not your thing there are a bunch of fantastic restaurants to choose from within walking distance (the hosts have fantastic recommendations!) The bathroom had more than enough towels and toiletries for the three of us and was well stocked with everything you could need. It’s within walking distance of the university as well as the metro if you want to do some touristy stuff as well (which we did on our last day). The hosts are super responsive and kind and quick to update if anything is wrong. If you’re super comfy girlies like we are, there are plenty of blankets to go around while enjoying the super quaint living room. It’s one of the best airbnbs we have stayed at and has set the bar for every subsequent Airbnb we have stayed in. we will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in DC!

My husband and I stayed at Mimi and Jamie's place for 5 days/5 nights. The house exceeded our expectations - everything was thoughtful, clean, and organized. We had traveled from California and were looking forward to a restful stay, and we were 100% happy that we chose this home. The furniture was well placed, and the rooms were attractively designed. The furnishings brought smiles, and the plants were a perfect addition. The house is beautiful, and waking up with greenery around us was so amazing. The kitchen ware and dinner ware were just right - there were wine glasses too! The sheets were clean, and the curtains were lovely. There was an ample supply of bathroom/body soaps, paper supplies and just about anything we might need. It was so quiet at night. The house was fresh smelling and stayed that way. We felt at home and felt safe. We loved every day we were there.

Abe and Grace’s place was amazing. The house had everything we needed for the stay. It was unfortunate the metro station nearby the house was closed during the weekend we stayed but location is good overall. The beds are comfortable. I highly recommend this place if you need a place in DC. I will def. be staying here again if I come back to DC.

Lovely neighborhood. We needed somewhere close to MedStar for early morning surgery. It was less than a 4 min drove. Very cozy place.

Quaint basement studio with ample space and very roomy. Can comfortably sleep 2-3 adults. The most beautiful backyard. Has all the amenities.

The location was incredible! Less than a 5 minute walk to a plethora of food and shops, multiple Metro Bus stops and a Metro train station! The unit is spacious, well appointed and perfect for our family of 4. This unit will be tops on our list for any future visits to the DC area!

Thank you for letting us use your apartment. Our co-worker was pleased to have his own space while commuting to work; very convenient and very nice.

Beautiful, well appointed air bb with lots of thoughtful touches throughout. The host was quick to respond to any questions. Perfect location for the event I was attending at the Student Center. Would definitely return to this air bb!

The house worked amazingly for our group of 8. Between the upstairs and downstairs there is plenty of room to spread out and have your own space. From the outside, the house appears quite small, but it is so much larger inside. The location is extremely convenient for visiting the DC area. The neighborhood is peaceful, and the backyard was really nice. Also we appreciated how well the AC worked in the house. The main drawback for us was we communicated far in advance that we were traveling with my parents and my mom cannot navigate stairs well. I checked to make sure there was a bedroom, bathroom and a kitchen on the first level. At that time we should have been informed that there are about 8 cement stairs to enter the house. I was a bit unhappy to see those stairs when we first pulled up to the house. Last, we made most of our meals at the house. The kitchen is lacking some basic items. We purchased a cookie sheet and left it behind for future guests to use. Would recommend

John’s place was exceptionally awesome.The place was spacious and clean. There were enough supplies that it felt so much like being at home. The place was peaceful and quiet. The back yard provides a serene atmosphere. Gathering for meals makes it a great family time for getting together. John was responsive to every questions and was very helpful. It is really a great place to stay. He went beyond to accommodate our request to make it possible to pick up an important medication that was left behind. Thanks a lot John!

We were originally planning on staying 2 nights, but had to shorten our trip / stay to 1 night, due to a family emergency. The home was easy to find, and instructions from David were very clear and precise. Conveniently located, with lots of restaurants, supermarket, etc within walking distance. Parking was also very secure and convenient. The only thing we were not too happy about was that the 3rd bedroom, was not really a bedroom, but a common area converted in to a bedroom (queen bed) with a half wall, as mentioned on the listing.

We had a wonderful time at Anita’s place in DC. The house was impeccable and had wonderful amenities, was very well stocked, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Check in was a breeze and it is in a great location. Close to metro and a lively neighborhood. Anita was a wonderful host, very responsive. We loved it!

If I could give the location of this home more than 5 stars, I would. Very easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping, groceries, and the Metro.

This house had everything we needed for our stay. The added benefit was we could bring our small dogs. The yard was fenced so our dogs couldn’t run out. We used the park and ride at the Grosvenor station on the red line about a 15 minute ride. Patricia even left our dogs some yummy dog treats. We had an enjoyable stay!!

Felt like home. Quiet neighborhood with walking distance grocery store. Extra amenities. Very clean and I’m a clean freak.

Stayed here with two of my friends for a long weekend and we had a wonderful time! Room was incredibly clean and very spacious, with a lovely kichenette. Staff were amazing, amenities like the pool and hot tub were great, and overall a great experience. Janee was also super helpful, kind, and responsive!

Nice and cozy place to stay while visiting DC. Safe and quiet neighborhood that is a not to long walk to the metro. Great amenities and supplies offered in this, and Dan was super helpful and responsive. Keep in mind an older home so the drains in the bathroom drain slowly. But I didn't mind and can't wait to stay again! :)

I stayed at Ruben's apartment with 3 moms and 4 kids ages 6-11. We were visiting the national zoo and stayed here after a long day walking around. We pulled up and there was street parking right in front of the building, which seems to be in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. The kids had fun playing the board and card games that were there and exploring the back yard space. We were able to cook a simple dinner there, but noticed there weren't any kitchen knives or a cutting board, that would be my only feedback. Otherwise the space was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend for a family or small group visiting DC.

This was my 2nd stay in the Alexandria area with David being my host. The location is very convenient to my work office space. I'm very familiar with the area. I would accept another offer if available in the future.

Clean. Parks and rec. Close to food.

I was upgraded to a 2 bd 2 bath suite and it was amazing! We didn’t need all the space as it was just 2 adults and a toddler but it was still very much appreciated for the price paid. The area is perfect with lots of restaurants, the harbor a short walk away and many other easily accessible activities. This is a timeshare resort, if you’re not interested in the presentation just say no but expect that you will be solicited. The resort had so many wonderful accommodations and is so kid friendly. The only complaint I had was that one of the bathroom sinks clearly hadn’t been cleaned which I found odd because everything else seemed pristine so I didn’t make much of a fuss about it just cleaned it myself. I would definitely return.

This was a great place for our family to stay for our fall break trip to D.C.! We were so close to the Metro station, and it was really convenient to shops and restaurants. The layout was great for us to spread out. Kirstie was attentive and helpful. Highly recommend!
