John's place is so lovely in a peaceful and beautiful neighborhood, easy to find and park, just 6 minutes to the Metro and train station by driving, 12-15 minutes to water front and King Street with bunch of restaurants. The bed is super comfortable, and all kinds of snack food in the room. The sweetest part is the peeled and sliced fruit in the refrig…John and Rick are very kind, we must choose here again and strongly recommend to those visit Alexandria.

I can not recommend Chet & Dorothy’s place enough. It is an absolutely beautiful historic home one block off of the best area of King St. Walking through the house felt like staying in a museum. Most of all however was the great hospitality both Chet and Dorothy showed. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. They gave us great ideas on things to do in Alexandria and their champagne hour was a great way to get to know them and the incredible history of the house. We absolutely loved our stay and would love to do it all again!

The neighborhood was lovely. Once we were settled in we were able to walk downtown easily from the property. Jordan was responsive and made it easy for us to access our room. The room and en suite bathroom were well appointed. The property is a bit far from the metro without a car, which was our case. So we suggest taking an Uber arriving and departing unless you have your own car.

I can’t speak highly enough of this Airbnb - it’s among the very best. Ideal location, pretty surroundings, quiet and peaceful, and extremely modern and comfortable. Everything is perfect. It’s the ideal location for Alexandria or for accessing DC more generally. Chuck is a very considerate host and very helpful and quick to respond. The interior is delightful. The bathroom is especially attractive. Would love to stay again.

such a wonderful place to stay at! everything i went to was walkable around 20mins! emalee was very responsive and sweet. i definitely recommend this place if you’re visiting old town, i would love to stay here again. :)
