Cabin holiday rentals in Ogemaw County

Excellent stay at this Airbnb. If you are thinking of coming to St Helen to ride the ORV trails, this is an excellent choice! It’s right down the street from St Helen Motorsports, two gas stations, 3 restaurants, 2 pizza shops and multiple trail head entrances within 2 miles or less!!! The house looks exactly like the pictures and description, and the hot tub, outdoor fire pit, and indoor fireplace were amazing! I will note….it is a bit on the small side. Beds are as described, but feet hang off the bed and rooms are small. 4 grown adults was pushing it here, especially with one bathroom. Also note. There is BARELY enough room for a small truck and trailer to park in front. The other truck had to park underneath the large garage due to no park space. Other than that, which is really just an explanation, it is the ultimate st Helen stop!

My husband spent two nights at this wonderful cabin and so enjoyed our time there! We ate at the boat house for lunch one day and walked the Wolf Creek Trailhead another, but other than that we enjoyed being at the cabin! The backyard was incredibly serene! We read and talked for hours around the bonfire until dark and then hit the hot tub both nights! What a wonderful space to get away and reconnect as a couple! I would absolutely suggest it as a couples get away! ❤️

Lovely property with an amazing and cute little cabin. Very private, we walked the woods and had bonfires. The hot tub was great! We would definitely come back!

Great place to stay for an up north getaway. Host was very accommodating and responsive. House was very clean and cozy.

Would absolutely stay again. The hot tub room is an excellent social space. The pictures are great but it’s even more impressive in person. The whole property is very spacious. Having immediate water access in the backyard was key. Amazing views kayaking during sunset. Would stay again.

Everything was good, I had a little difficulty with the air conditioning getting it set but once I got it it cooled very good

The place was as described. Very clean and provided all conviences from home. Dishes made cooking easy and clean up items such as paper towels and soap made tidy up easy. Close to the boardwalk and plenty of wildlife to view.

This is the second time I've stayed. For personal reasons, I had to leave early, but the hosts were very gracious and kind. The house is great and comfortable as always. The host is always easy to reach and great to speak with. I hope to make more trips here in the future for some rest away from home!

This is my second stay, but certainly not my last! Cozy and clean, with all the thoughtful touches! Love sitting on the couch in the morning with a cup of coffee and looking out at the woods behind the cabin. Sunday morning we had a porcupine visit. Nothing threatening, just passing through. Rick is always very responsive, and the cabin is spotlessly clean! Close to Roscommon for South Branch AuSable canoeing/kayaking and also close to Grayling for AuSable Main Branch access. For pit is a treat. Quiet and peaceful retreat and located centrally for river access!

Visited St Helen, MI to ride trails with ATV. Trails are great, never ending, lots of friendly other riders, plenty to eat. Woodys Hot Dog stand is amazing!

6th year staying at Dennis and Danielle’s cabin in Gladwin. My family loves staying there, great veiw of lake , great size for my families needs there’s usually 8- to 12 of us. We’ve had good luck fishing, 33 inch Pike, huge bass. We rent a pontoon boat! Will be back next year! Thanks Dennis and Danielle

Loved this place. Has amazing views, and services and has everything you need during your stay. The only thing I wasn’t in love with, were the beds. Wish they had more comfortable mattresses, but other than that. Everything was perfect.

Very cute cabin with a small beach on the property. The deck is big enough for a table, grill, and chairs, and other outdoor seating added to the resort feel. Located in a residential area so there was a bit of traffic noise, garbage trucks, etc. We walked next door to the general store and a bar/restaurant, but anything else will require a drive. The cabins are well laid out with everything you need, but the bathroom is quite small. My husband is tall and the shower was a squeeze, but he made it work. Owners were responsive and helpful. Would definitely go back.

My son and I took an impromptu two-day vacation and had the good fortune of booking a cabin at Lake George Resort! Carin is the most friendly, hospitable person you’ll ever meet (Her dog Gigi is pretty fantastic too)! From start to finish she made sure my son and I had the best time. There are so many things to do on the property (basketball, ping pong, horseshoes, badminton…) in addition to swimming. They also have kayaks and pedal boats you can use. All of the cabins are close enough that you can be social, and far enough apart that you can enjoy privacy. No AC in the cabin but plenty of fans to move the air and make it comfortable. If you’re looking for a nice, lakeside experience I highly recommend GLR!
