Vera's place was absolutely wonderful - quite possibly the best place my friends and I have ever stayed in! It was a cozy cottage in a village within an easy drive to all Zagreb had to offer. It was beautifully decorated in a peaceful setting, with all the amenities you could ask for (expansive deck, grill, wonderful garden, comfy beds and seating area, etc.), especially in the kitchen (oils, spices, equipment, etc). Cats made for lovely visitors. Vera was exceptionally responsive and left fresh flowers and a welcome drink. Wish we could give 10 stars out of 5 🖤🖤🖤!

All in all, the stay for 2 nights was good. Everything was within walking distance. You had everything you needed. We booked the apartment mainly because of the concert in the opposite arena. It was convenient. For 4 people it would only have been a little better if there was a 4th thicker blanket. Unfortunately, the large balcony window in the living room didn't seem quite tight, which is why it was relatively noisy and a small passage came through. Should there ever be another concert in the arena, I would book the apartment again.

The house is beautifully furnished, cozy, and located in a peaceful area – perfect for unwinding. We especially enjoyed the top-notch jacuzzi and sauna, which truly exceeded our expectations. The host was incredibly kind and attentive, even welcoming us with wine and chocolates. Overall, it was a truly perfect experience!
