Holiday rentals with a patio in Obwalden

I love this place. It's about 15 minutes walk from the train station, the view as you walk to the place is amazing. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. The studio itself exceeded my expectations. Kurt went above and beyond providing juice, milk, yoghurt, fruits, chocolates, bread, butter, etc. When he offered to get a few things for me from the supermarket before I arrived, I did not expect this at all. If I have the chance, I will stay here again. Thank you for such a memorable stay.

Gina’s apartment is very cute and well appointed. It’s on the third floor and has a nice view of the hills. I experienced some confusion at first as the pictures she’d sent of the entrance weren’t loading. The website photos showed her neighbors chalet and I mistakenly thought that was the space we were staying in. Once we were oriented we were greeted by her lovely cat Lucy in the living room 🫶🏽 Always nice to see fellow pet lovers. The apartment is immaculate, had toys for my 5yo to play with and beautiful walks where you could see the mountains clearly. Gina was helpful, proactive and kind to us. We experienced some drain issues. As soon as I told Gina she promptly was able to correct it. Would 100% recommend her apartment if you like to be outside of the city. Peaceful.

Die Wohnung ist perfekt. Mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet, stilvoll und edel, sehr schönes Eichenparket. Sehr sauber, an alles wurde gedacht, nichts fehlt. Sehr gut funktionierendes W-Lan, perfekt für Homeoffice. Super Lage, direkt beim Dorfzentrum und an der Haltestelle für den Ortsbus, der einen an jede Talstation fährt. Der Loipenstart ist ebenfalls sehr nahe. Carole und Manuel sind grossartige Gastgeber, entgegenkommend, hilfsbereit und flexibel. Sie antworten superschnell und sind äusserst freundlich. Absolut empfehlenswert!

너무 아름다운곳에서 4일동안 쉼을 얻을수 있었다. 방과 침대도 편하고 부엌은 모든것을 갗추고 있으며 화장실도청결하고 세탁기와 건조기를 사용할수 있어 만족했다! 앞에 기차가 지나가서 더 낭만적인 곳이고 호수를 보며 식사를 하고 산책을 즐기기에는 최고의 장소다! 다시 방문하고 싶은곳이다!

The stay truly exceeded all our expectations — it had absolutely everything we could have possibly needed! Traveling all the way from the UK, we completely forgot to bring a UK-Swiss adapter, but to our surprise and relief, one was thoughtfully provided. It’s little touches like that which make all the difference. Pavel was an exceptionally attentive and wonderful host, always ready to help and make our experience unforgettable

We had a magical week at Thomas’s place. The place was perfect in every way with the most beautiful views of the valley, wonderfully cozy and well appointed space. The sauna was definitely a perk! Thomas was an amazing host, went above and beyond, giving us the friendliest welcome and great recommendations. One of the best hosts we’ve encountered during our years with Airbnb! And Engelberg is a wonderful place, especially for families. The whole town is very child friendly in terms of the restaurants, playgrounds, and accessibility. We spent the whole time at Brunni which was perfect for our toddler in terms of bunny slopes and playgrounds (and a few blue and red runs for us). We took the bus a block from the apartment to the train station, then a quick transfer to a second bus, on the slopes in less than 15 minutes! Brunni has lockers so we stored all our equipment overnight. Hope we can make it back to Engelberg next season and stay at Thomas’s place!

Corina was an amazing host. The place was very clean, spotless and very scenic with lake and mountains visible from the balcony. Great location to experience living in the Swiss countryside while still living very close to Lucerne. Corina went above and beyond to make sure we had a nice stay including picking and dropping us to and from the train station and finding us a replacement bag because of a broken zipper. She also provided us with great local recommendations for the region. When me and my family visit Switzerland the next time, we will definitely be staying at the same place and I would absolutely recommend this to anyone that is looking to stay here.

This is first time I waited to give review. The place is very near to Brienz station and the location is picture perfect. It was very clean, kitchen had everything we needed to cook, the welcome treats were very thoughtful, kids had lot of toys that they didn’t want to go outside, beds, towels, bathrooms everything was very clean. Downside is we all ended up staying home for 2 days and not going anywhere as per our plan. Our family had amazing time in the house. I would definitely recommend it. Very nice place and host. Thank you Jacqueline for everything. I loved your family pictures in house, the similes in pictures, the antique pieces that you saved. It really felt like home.

La maison d’Emmanuel est grande, adaptée pour notre famille de 6. Elle est située dans un village paisible et nous avons beaucoup apprécié son cadre et avons eu la chance d’avoir de la neige pour Noël.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage, definitely would recommend and visit again. The house was really well equipped, located in a beautiful area surrounded by mountains.

the hosts where wonderful. very helpful and welcoming. the apartment was super clean. nice and good equipped kitchen, warm sleeping rooms. the surrounding is peaceful and quite. a lot of good nature and beautiful houses. classic switzerland nature.

We loved our stay here. Perfect for our family. The location for us was ideal. Picturesque, all that we imagined Switzerland to be. The views every morning every evening are amazing. I am sure it is amazing during winter time as well. For us it was perfect and truth be told well beyond our expectation. Waterfalls mountain views, evening cow bells..what more could we want...and connectivity with trains and buses right out the front door 😍😍 we plan to come back with our second daughter. We experienced sunshine, and rainy weather, both had their own vibe in this chalet. Please know that it is away from busy hustle bustle, but if you crave that Brienze is like 7 miles drive (or you could take the bus) and any location is a train journey away! Spectacular and absolutely amazing hosts, In Spite of having researched our visit I believe I had a lot of questions 😜😜 our host was very quick with responses that were full of insights. Loved our stay.

This is a nice house just outside of downtown Engelberg. There is parking for 1 car in the small driveway, or two if you have a smaller vehicle that fits in the garage. You can walk a fairly short distance into town, but be ready for the long hill climb in the way home. The house had everything that we needed for a long weekend stay. The beds are comfortable. It’s a great value. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful 5 days at this beautiful cabin. The name is perfect. Heimeli. Very cozy, we felt right at home. The valley is spectacular. The ski area close. U. Is great for hiking and exploring in the summer. Matthes is a great host, very friendly and helpful. We‘ll be back!

Sehr nette,freundliche ,unkomplizierte Gadtgeberin. Das schöne alte Häuschen ist mit Garten und Seesicht ein Traum! Das Strandbad, ein grosser Spielplatz,Bhf.sind in der Nähe und super zu Fuss erreichbar. Es ist alles sehr heimelig eingerichtet&sauber. Es hat alles vor Ort, u.a. Grill,Holz, Sups, ist auch kindergerecht ausgestattet. Wir waren begeistert und werden def. wieder einmal gehen!

Wunderschönes Chalet quasi direkt an der Piste auf der Frutt. Sehr geräumig mit genügend Platz für die Winterausrüstung, vollausgestattete Küche und sogar viele Spielsachen für Kinder. Sehr empfehlenswert für Familien!

Een gezellig en schoon appartement op een werkelijk prachtige locatie. Het uitzicht alleen al is onbetaalbaar! Het appartement is goed te vinden met behulp van de coördinaten die Michael van tevoren heeft gegeven. Een auto is wel een vereiste om op locatie te komen. Onderweg is het uitzicht spectaculair! Parkeren kan voor de deur. Het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien. Prima keuken, eenvoudige maar functionele badkamer. Zeer comfortabel matras op het bed. Er is een grote TV mét Netflix om even te kunnen bijkomen van al het natuurschoon. Contact met Michael is zeer laagdrempelig en vragen worden zeer vlot beantwoord. Wij zouden dit appartement zeker aanraden!

Wir hatten lange nach einer modernen Wohnung für unseren Urlaub am Vierwaldstättersee gesucht und sind dann auf Roshans tolle skandinavisch eingerichtete, helle und freundliche Wohnung gestoßen. Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt, es ist alles da, was man braucht - kompakt, hochwertig und gemütlich. Matratze ist hervorragend, wir haben super gut geschlafen. Die Dachterrasse liegt wunderschön zum Waldhügel hin und man hört viel Natur. Das ist wirklich toll. Das Dach im Rücken schützt im großen und ganzen vor den Geräuschen der am See liegenden Straße und Bahngleise. Die Kommunikation war vorbildlich und super freundlich! man ist schnell zu Fuß am See, Schiff, Bahn und im Ort mit Bäcker, Metzger und Lidl. Logistisch top gelegen! Wir können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen und kommen selbst gerne wieder.

조금 비쌌지만 연박을 길게 해야하는 샬레 특성상 좋은 대안이라고 생각합니다- 주방에서 보이는 아이거 북벽은 정말 멋졌고 그린델발트역과 쿱이 가까운건 정말 최고였어요. 그리고 세탁기도 무료(세제는 별도 지참 필요)로 사용할 수 있어서 유용했습니다-!

Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend – perfekt für hochwertige Zeit und Content-Shootings. Die ganze Atmosphäre lädt zur Entspannung ein: Jacuzzi, Panorama-Sauna, schöne Terrasse mit Blick auf den See und die Berge. Es war absolut still, privat und friedlich. Die Gastgeber wohnen im oberen Teil des Hauses und sind unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und respektvoll. Ich habe mich jederzeit wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Ich empfehle diesen Ort von Herzen weiter – ein wahres Highlight für alle, die Schönheit, Ruhe und Komfort schätzen.

We stayed at Roger’s place for a few days on our way to Austria, driving there from Zurich Airport. His apartment was one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever rented—new, modern, and spotless, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Roger was always just a text away and responded within minutes to any questions we had. The apartment’s location is excellent, offering stunning views, and the interior looks even better than it does in the pictures on Airbnb. If I’m ever in the Zurich or Lucerne area again, I would definitely stay here. Thank you, Roger!

루체른 시내에서 버스로 이동 가능하고 버스정류장에서 이동하는것도 수월합니다. 시내와 떨어져있어서 아주 조용하고 안전한 동네라서 휴식을 취하고 싶은 분이라면 강추합니다. 화장실이 넓고 깨끗하고 집도 아기자기 예뻤어요. 요리에 필요한 대부분의 식기가 마련되어 있습니다. 청결이 중요하고 숙소에 있는 시간이 길었던 저는 만족했습니다. 숙소 주인인 파비엔느와 브라이언은 소통이 아주 잘되고 친절하여 머무는데 마음 편히 지낼수 있었습니다.
