Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Oberelsbach

We had a nice, albeit very wet, Pentecost weekend in Rachel's house. We were two families (6 people, 2 children (3 years)). We particularly liked how child-friendly and well-equipped the house was. There are plenty of toys and the trampoline in the garden was a hit. The surroundings are beautifully idyllic. However, we were a little surprised by the high number of ticks, but no one can do anything about that. However, you should prepare yourself before a vacation in the area (vaccination, spray) and check daily, especially with the kids. The house was very cozy and could be heated wonderfully warm with the fireplace in the unfortunately very bad weather. The walk to the house, which is a little elevated, was a little impractical. If you arrive with a little more luggage and shopping, you have to walk the way several times, but it worked. Overall, we were satisfied and felt very comfortable.

Everything was perfect for us, a very well-kept, lovingly furnished house with a fantastic garden. The house and the garden invite you to linger. In the area you can do many great hikes. Annette always responds very quickly and kindly. Thank you for having us as your guests.

Amazing place, we wish we could’ve stayed longer! With only one night we didn’t get a chance to relax or utilize the full house, but it was cozy and fully stocked for anything we could’ve needed — they truly thought of every detail. It was huge, we felt right at home, and you can’t beat the location in Alsfeld!

A beautiful place to relax & discover. Upon arrival, we were greeted on the terrace by a curious, trusting fire salamander. The cottage is very cozy with a lot of attention to detail and you immediately feel comfortable - everything you need is there. A big thank you to Katharina for the warm hospitality. We will be happy to come back!

A great house, a quiet location. Perfect for up to 10 guests. The space is there. The check-in worked wonderfully, the communication from the host was fast and reliable. He makes a friendly impression. The house really has everything you need. The garden is huge and everything is very well maintained. We can't wait for the next visit.

We had a family reunion in this accommodation and were very surprised that we had so much space just for us and our loved ones. From the rooms, everyone could choose their own with washing facilities or not - several large communal bathrooms (each with shower and bathtub and toilet) were available to everyone. The Bausewein couple were very nice, friendly and always available. It was a very nice weekend and highly recommended for larger groups for festivals, celebrations or just meeting and chatting.. Thank you and we will come again.

Such a beautiful cabin in picturesque surroundings! We felt right at home. There is everything you need for a quiet break. Heckmühle is a very cute village with great people. We will be happy to come back.

5 ★ Stay – Perfect Anniversary Retreat We chose Cristina’s place to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! From the moment we arrived, we felt an abundance of good vibes and positive energy throughout the house. The location is wonderfully quiet, surrounded by nature, with plenty of lovely walking paths. The house itself was cozy, spotlessly clean, and felt like a warm hug. It was the ideal serene getaway we were hoping for. With so many interesting places just a 30‑minute drive away, we were able to soak in the region’s charm—Veste Coburg, the impressive fortress known as the "Franconian Crown," is a must-see. Cristina was truly a perfect host: proactive, always available, and a pleasure to communicate with. Her thoughtful touches and responsiveness made our stay effortless and enjoyable. We highly recommend this lovely retreat to anyone seeking peace, charm, and access to the gems of Franconia. We’re already hoping to stay here again.

great location, a cool landlord and an Air Bnb with great character.

We were with a group of 13 and enjoyed the accommodation immensely. In the house there was enough to keep us busy, I am thinking of the great sauna and swimming pond but also the extensive range of board games, toys, chess board and poker set. It is a very charming house that is modern where it should be. The area was beautiful and even more beautiful than in the picture. You can take a very nice walk directly from the garden and you are really in nature. This is definitely recommended!

I couldn’t recommend more Svenjas plece! It was amazing, the place itself very spacious. It has everything you need for. She hosted as we were at home. We visited with our little one and our dog and we fledged like at home! Definitely would come back again!! Thanks!!

We spent very pleasant days. The house was perfectly furnished, we lacked nothing. Balcony and living room offer a beautiful south view of the meadows and fields in front of the house. The quiet location in the small village invites you to take small and large hikes. If you get in the car, you can reach the well-known sights of the Rhön in 10 to 30 minutes, such as the Milsburg, the Wasserkuppe, the black moor, Bishofsheim and the Gangolfsberg. The accommodation is located in a beautiful holiday park, a little off the beaten path in a small village. 2 large playgrounds offer space for people and animals to run and play. There are many opportunities for hiking in the area, and the proximity to the highway makes it possible to quickly take some excursions into the area. We spent 1 week there and felt very comfortable and would definitely recommend it.

Great stay! Most of all, we enjoyed the great location right on the river with the many water birds. You could even see cranes. And the sauna was great - especially because it rained every now and then. You'll love looking out of the cozy, warm sauna window! The furnishings are also perfect! Unfortunately, we did not have matches for the existing candle. A clear recommendation from us !

We felt very comfortable in the accommodation and the surroundings. Angelika was very hospitable and provided many great touches in the accommodation (fresh fruit, regional spring water, chocolate). We will be happy to come back!

The place was amazing. The house is so lovingly furnished Everything you need in kitchen utensils and other everyday items was available. Especially for children, it is super nice, the children's room, the garden with the small playground, the swing in the middle of the living room (also for adults mega :-)), the quiet environment. Everything is green (we were there in May), animals everywhere, a playground nearby, excursion possibilities... We had a wonderful vacation!

We stayed for a weekend at Erik's place, the apartment was very clean, very close to the Stadthalle where we attended an event. There was a baby bed for our child, we felt right at home. Absolutely recommended!

The weekend at Michael's was absolutely wonderful! A really charming accommodation and an extremely quiet and relaxed area! A paradise for those seeking peace and quiet! We really enjoyed the days.
