We enjoyed our family time together sitting around the firepit, kayaking, and playing games around the dining room table. This is a great spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors, and on the chilly days we even enjoyed sitting next to the fire indoors. When one of the showers wasn't working properly Tim came to fix it within a few hours of us letting him know. Our family from the UAE and South Africa enjoyed the cottage experience.

This was the ideal place to stay! Was here for a weekend with some friends, and everything about this location was just perfect! Andrew was a great host, and was ahead of any questions that I might have had!

Richard’s place is wonderful! It has become our go-to hone when we visit family in the area. The home is nicely decorated on the inside. The beds are very comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The large deck in back of the house is a great place to relax. Our dogs loved the huge backyard. The home is close to the Main Street and also to major shopping and restaurants. We already are planning a return trip!

Our family felt right at home at Brian's place. It was perfect for our needs while we were in town for a family event.

TLDR: Fantastic Airbnb, even better hosts, would stay again in a heartbeat. We had a bachelor party with 8 people and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the house. We were pleasantly surprised by its size and amenities. It matched the pictures and was quite clean. The neighborhood was quiet and in a great location for doing activities all across Detroit, Auburn Hills, Novi, you name it. We shared a concern about linens/pillows from reading reviews and before our stay, they upgraded all of them around the house, such a nice touch that was very appreciated! Thus, we all got great sleep. The owners were extremely friendly and responsive, even after 1 am. Check in & check out were easy. Only a few recommendations such as reupholstering/replacing the living room couch as the padding is worn out, keeping a vacuum on site, and sweeping the garage to get leaves/debris out.

5 stars – Great stay with thoughtful touches The house was beautifully maintained, super clean, and had a warm, welcoming feel. The beds were very comfortable, and we appreciated the small touches like the wine upon arrival. The location was quiet but conveniently close to everything we needed. Jennifer place made you feel like home away from home. We was able to comfortably have our stay with our family while celebrating my grandsons graduation. The neighborhood is beautiful, peaceful and home away from home feeling.

I really can't stress enough how much I love this place! It's spacious, flooded with natural lighting, and overlooks a communal lawn where I listened to the birds and spotted some squirrels. The sofas and bed are ridiculously comfy, there were already sauces and seasonings in the fridge and cupboard, and all cleaning necessities there too! The building/apartment is quiet - you can barely hear the neighbours, and vice versa, so it feels very private. It's also within easy walking distance of parks, restaurants, bars, entertainment, etc! One thing to note is that the location is right next to the highway, so there is a constant drone of traffic. Personally, I grew to find it quite soothing, so it wasn't really a problem, but it's truly the only thing I can think of that might put anyone off booking this apartment. Oh, also! During my stay, the building had a maintenance check that Mariya made sure I was fully aware of and prepared for❤️ A wonderful host, and a wonderful flat!

Five star accommodations and host. Peter home was amazing the pool and pool house is the best in the area. So many convenient amenities, great locations . Highly recommend

We found this home last year during the death of my father and have stayed multiple times since then. This stay was for my mother's funeral. It feels like home and was very comfortable.

This was my second visit to Glenda‘s house beautiful house I see she did a little upgrading, but overall, I will visit again ❤️

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The space was clean , and matched the photos well. The check-in process was smooth, and communication with the host was helpful. The location was convenient—close to many food places.

We enjoyed the living room area and having plenty room to hang out together in addition to the 1/2 bath located on the first floor. Complex was quiet. We would definitely stay here again when we come visit our son for a weekend. The house fit 5 of us comfortably and we enjoyed hanging out and not being cramped in hotel rooms. We made appetizers for dinner one night and the kitchen had what we needed.

The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of personality. It felt secluded and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway before the big day. The setting was picturesque, and the overall vibe made for some unforgettable memories. Everything was absolutely perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Great location to visit family in Ortonville & Oxford. Super clean and Heidi was very quick and responsive to all my questions. House is located in the middle of everything we needed from coffee to dinner & shopping. We have a large dog and the park nearby made it nice for a small walk and playtime. Our family gives it a 5 star and Highly recommend!!!

Diana and co-host were amazing! I’d definitely stay here again. The Airbnb was clean, spotless and stocked up on all necessities. Area very quiet, and Diana was very responsive and answered all of my questions. The home looks just like the photos and only about 15-20 minutes from downtown Detroit, Ferndale, Royal Oak, Clawson. I’d definitely book again. Diana even offered some complimentary treats for me upon arrival. Run and book, it’s worth it! One of the best I’ve stayed in.

Nimrat’s home was the perfect place for our stay. Family friendly and a great location. Walking distance to a couple parks for kids and the house was so cozy. Perfect distance to downtown Detroit as we were in town for a concert. Would love to rent again if needed. Great place to stay in Royal Oak.

The suite was VERY clean and accessible, with an accurate listing. Great communication. We enjoyed our stay and we had everything we needed. As noted in other reviews, there is a heavily traveled road close by. Our dog enjoyed the adjacent walking path so much that he forgot that he doesn’t like to go out in the rain, and insisted on frequent trips. Thanks for your hospitality.
