Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Oak Grove

Perfect place for our stay. Felt safe and off the beaten path even though the location had easy access to dining and drinks with a short uber. Just a studio style but had everything we needed in the small space. Felt so much more at home than a hotel and checkin/out was 1000x easier. Wish we could find more places like this in other towns! Thanks Tim for the emergency snacks and great coffee selection too!

my family and I definitely enjoyed staying here. plenty of space, super comfortable and clean. our dog enjoyed the nice big backyard! we loved watching the dogwood tree bloom, so beautiful! The host was very responsive and respectful. we would definitely stay here again.

Second time staying here and loved it. Great place, comfortable bed and couches. Perfect little kitchen for quick meals. Extremely toddler friendly!!

We loved staying at Kelly’s. The house was well set up, clean, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Kelly gave great clear instructions and communicated really well. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly, the backyard was beautiful and we enjoyed hanging out on the patio. Everything was easy, and we would love to stay there again.

Chelsea’s house was well appointed, comfortable, and quiet. It worked great for staying a few days; the place was much bigger and more comfortable than staying in a hotel.

I don't think there was a single thing that wasn't thought of to provide a wonderful stay. Very responsive and informative as well as a wonderful setup. My husband just saying she's thought of everything! Would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you again for your wonderful hospitality

This house was absolutely amazing - all the fun and games you could want, an outdoor grilling area and back yard, beautiful scenery, and plenty of beds and bathrooms for a large group. Would highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Adrienne’s place in Happy Valley, Oregon! Adrienne and his wife are such a sweet and welcoming couple—it truly felt great meeting them. The home is in a beautiful neighborhood with stunning balcony views and a refreshing breeze that made our time there extra special. The space was well-equipped with snacks and all the utensils we needed for dining, which was a thoughtful touch. When we requested it, they kindly helped us by setting up a portable air conditioning unit, which made our stay even more comfortable. They also baked and shared delicious muffins with us, which was so thoughtful and sweet—it really made us feel at home. Overall, a wonderful location, a cozy and well-maintained home, and such kind hosts. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Happy Valley area!

We were so happy to be back in Portland and Peregrine’s place made our visit that much better! Beautiful house with lovely porches, gardens and within walking distance of great food and coffee. The accommodations were thoughtful and the bed sooo comfortable! Will definitely stay again!

This is my favorite air bnb I’ve ever stayed out. The location was great, the space was so beautiful and so affordable. Jim was amazing so friendly and helpful with recommendations. He didn’t make us do any of the cleaning, had seltzer waters and coffee for us on top of everything else, and was just so lovely and pleasant. Thanks so much Jim! Your home is so wonderful.

The hosts were super friendly and helpful, helping us resolve a couple small issues shortly after we arrived. The place was quiet and peaceful, with very little noise for a basement apartment. Our family of four with 9 and 11 year old kids was maxing out the bed space. The kids reported the sofa bed was a bit small. We loved the neighborhood and the hosts. Thanks again!

Amazing Airbnb! The location is great- being close to the city yet having a bit more quiet. The owners are truly the best. They continually went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their communication was consistently impressive, from my initial inquiry prior to booking all the tickets at through checkout. I was traveling with twin newborns & they were so helpful in setting my trip up for success. The Airbnb itself is thoughtfully arranged & more than you could ask for. Their back yard is AMAZING! Great open green space, camp fire area, dining & a great play set. We plan to be back soon! (: 10/10 would highly recommend!

Martin & Grace were kind and communicative throughout our stay. My friend and I particularly enjoyed the area as there were multiple bus stops within 3 blocks of walking, as well as restaurants, food trucks, and parks. The full kitchen available was quite nice with extremely acceptable pans and pots. The provided earl gray tea was remarkably good as well :). We found the wifi password pasted above the bed to be quite funny when we began wondering how to access it. Finally, the check in and out directions were easy and reasonable. Thank you again for the great stay!

It's a basement apartment, has some cool art, decent kitchen area, bed is very firm, then - pretty much the expected daytime noises (one or two early evenings as well, but not bad - and I tried to stay close to Eastern sleep schedule, so that's my adjustment to make, not the host's), a little musty, a steep set of steps... but priced well for the area and had what I needed for easy access to the area while visiting my daughter.

Great value and it was above my expectations when I walked into the house. I had a great use of the kitchen and the AC was definitely a huge bonus during the summer heat. Rich was very good in communications and I felt like I was well taken care of

Great place, very clean, lots of amenities. A little hard to find and chack in, but the photo directions from the host really help. There is a grocery store about a 1 min walk from the apartment which was really handy. Close to the water and centrally located. Overall, very nice.

I live nearby and needed a place to stay during a minor remodel - picked this one because it was so close to groceries and restaurants. Very convenient, clean, comfortable, well-stocked kitchen. No problem finding parking on the street. No AC, but stayed cool and pleasant even when the weather got hot. My only complaint was flies (outside) from the chickens next door - Bee got fly traps right away when I mentioned it, but there’s only so much she can do.

We enjoyed the large spaces, especially the living/dining/kitchen area. The dining table was ideal for board games, and it was nice that we could all sit comfortably in the living room. The bed linens were very soft, even though the beds themselves weren't as comfortable (for us -- very subjective). The master bath had some minor detritus in the tub from the skylight too, but everything else was spotless. All in all, we had a lovely time, and Mary Jean was thoughtful, respectful, and helpful.

Definitely best for a solo traveler or couple. Would recommend traveling light just so you’re not tripping over your luggage. The neighborhood felt super safe and was quiet. Definitely would come back in the future :)
