It is a calm space with an old house motif. The living room has a large sunken kotatsu style Irori fireplace where you can enjoy meals and drinks. There is also a 4-seat counter bar. Nozawa Onsen Ski Area, Shiga Kogen, Madarao Kogen Ski Area, and Tohachi Onsen Ski Area are all nearby, making it the perfect base for winter sports. In the green season, there are eight golf courses within an hour, including the Madarao Country Club, and many day-use hot spring facilities. The owner lives on the right side of the entrance and can be contacted at any time, and understands everyday conversational English. While upstairs leads to two separate traditional Japanese Style rooms. Easily accessible by car to 4 of the local ski resorts. A all wheel drive car is recommended to get the most out of your visit, parking is available.

KIRISIMIZU Guest House

“Maison d’hotes KIRISI MIZU”, is a Irimoya style (traditional Japanese house, similar to Temple) that has been beautifully restored from traditional materials and passed down from my grate-grand parents generation. The entire house is done in a classic style as used to be, except for a newly built kitchen, toilet and bathroom that provide all the necessities of modern life.
