Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Nottoway County

We needed a place to stay on a work trip, this place was perfect for relaxing and just hanging out to get ready for the next day.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! Clean, quiet, peaceful. Very well stocked and you can tell she adds her personal touch with fresh baked cookies for you. Very beautiful! I’ll be back with a longer stay for sure.

The Carriage House is beautiful. From the decor, well-stocked kitchen to luxurious linens, we were very comfortable in this home for a long weekend. Just outside of Farmville in a beautiful rural setting, is a jewel of a home. We were a party of 4, busy with different wedding festivities all weekend. It was lovely to start our days on the porch with coffee and come home to relax on the porch to enjoy the each other. Thanks to our host for a well stocked kitchen, bathrooms and all the goodies for us to enjoy. We appreciated your flexibility when we needed it! I hope to return to enjoy more of the area, shop at Greenfront and stay in this lovely home once again.

I had such a good time at Jennifer’s place. It’s secluded and very private. It was big enough to fit my entire family. I will be back whenever I’m in that area!

We booked this trip for our son's lacrosse tournament. We had to add an extra day because of the 4 night minimum but it worked out for a small family day before a crazy weekend. The house is very nice and homey on the inside. Our kids loved the games and books. We had everything in the kitchen that we needed to cook dinner, breakfast, and lunch. Including the butter we needed for grilled cheese. They had dishwasher pods and liquid soap for the kitchen and laundry detergent for the washer. The bathroom had liquid soap and the shower had shampoo, conditioner, and body soap available. There are hangers in the closets and a hamper for dirty clothes. We greatly enjoyed our stay and plan on booking again for our next Richmond tournament.

The property and house were stunning. The house was super clean, beautifully decorated and stocked with everything we needed. Everything about the home was comfortable. We enjoyed our mornings outside with coffee and feeding the horses. The property is stunning and quiet. Gail and Randy were kind and gave us riding lessons and a historical tour around the property. We will be back and we recommend the home! it's a gem!

We had a wonderful stay at this very clean cozy home! The screened in back porch was our favorite place to relax morning & evening. Every need was anticipated with clear instructions. The kitchen was so well equipped, my girls were able to make bread. Jenny was very responsive throughout our stay. We felt comfortable & safe.

This was a short trip for a group of friends to go see the Kahlo exhibit. Cody has done a wonderful job of renovating this house. Tasteful and useful decorations and furniture. Comfy beds. Three nice baths. Nice side porch and back patio. Good parking. Convenient location. Great coffeehouse nearby and short drive to several very good restaurants. Forest Hill Park and river access closeby. He is a very responsive host..good communication pre, during, and post. Would note that if you want to use upstairs suites and have mobility issues the stairwell is a bit narrow and steep stairs. There is a good railing. You can't easily change stairwell in older house... We are all "older" and did ok. Street was very quiet at night and in am. Nicely fenced flat backyard. We didn't consider our immediate area very "walkable" but places to walk close by and it all would be fine for biking. Would happily stay there again. Definitely recommend.

I have tried some other options when Reisa’s place wasn’t available but none of them were as close to a “home away home” like Reisa’s place. Now that I’ve said that it will get harder to book when I need it!!!

As my first time actually renting an Airbnb. I enjoyed it a lot. When I needed something all I did was ask Eric. He’s very responsive and sweet. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family when they come over for the holidays. This place is very affordable.

This is a beautiful place to stay close to amazing local restaurants and coffee shops. Checking in was easy and convenient, there were plenty of places to park free of charge, and the hosts were respectful and both proactive with communication and responsive to inquiries. Overall, the experience was incredible and we would recommend staying here for anyone coming to the Richmond area!

Been quite a few spots on Airnb. Catherine and Shawn are truly the best host I have experienced….and not even close. They enjoy sharing their slice of heaven to those who appreciate all it has to offer. Gorgeous property to get out and explore and take it all in .It’s a trip my son and I always look forward to.

Thank you for a wonderful home to stay in as my daughter Graduated! The home was light and airy, clean, comfortable, and completely relaxing. We loved our experience! James also gave us easy to follow instructions and great ideas on local food places. He was very responsive and knowledgeable.

He provided lots of information about the area, had clear expectations of his guests, and was extremely communicative and thoroughly answered all of my questions.
