Wij hadden een heerlijk verblijf. De plek is ontzettend rustig en vlot bereikbaar. Het huis is erg authentiek en ingericht met veel smaak. De bedden sliepen heel goed. De tuin heeft vele hoekjes, terrassen en plekken om te ontdekken. Onze kinderen hielden erg van de tuin, het zwembad en de dieren. Het atelier is een echte meerwaarde, het is fijn om er binnen te lopen en al het moois te ontdekken of zelf deel te nemen aan een workshop. De hosts zijn zeer vriendelijk en verwelkomend en bieden fijne diensten (workshops, streekproducten, gastronomie) aan. Wij voelden ons hier meteen thuis en hopen nog terug te kunnen komen!

Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique dans ce magnifique logement. Le logement était propre, luxueux et répondait à toutes nos attentes. L'environnement est magnifique, paisible et naturel et convient parfaitement à une famille. La piscine était fantastique, tout comme la vue sur la vallée. C'était un plaisir de regarder le soleil se coucher tous les jours depuis la piscine ou le balcon. Tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin dans la maison pour passer des vacances reposantes est là. Jessyca était très sympathique et répondait rapidement aux questions. Nous nous sommes bien amusés et nous pouvons recommander un séjour à tout le monde.

Beautiful home in a beautiful part of the country. Very peaceful location yet less than 5 minutes drive from Brantome centre. Host was very helpful and responsive and had a whole list of recommendations for local restaurants, places to go, etc etc. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

What a lovely place, had everything we needed and the jacuzzi was a lovely added bonus! So close to such beautiful villages and to Sarlat, would recommend!

We hebben een heerlijke ontspannen tijd gehad. Een heerlijk huis en geweldig zwembad. Lekker rustig, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Patrick heeft ons geweldig geholpen toen we pech hadden met de auto. Echt mensen waar je op kunt bouwen. We komen heel graag terug.

We hebben heerlijk verbleven in het huis. De aankomst was beetje vroeger en was geen probleem. Super vriendelijke mensen die altijd klaar stonden en direct reageerde. De locatie was heel rustig en genieten ! Zeker een aanrader voor tot rust te komen

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable chez Mia. Le logement était très propre et fidèle à la description. Le cadre est apaisant et permet une totale déconnexion. Mia est une hôte très réactive. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Rien à redire. Nathalie très gentille et très réactive. La maison est idéal pour se reposer. Situé au calme et proche de Périgueux et de beaucoup de site touristique. La piscine à l'abri et chauffé sur un grande terrasse est vraiment le plus de la maison. Je la recommande vivement.

Stunning! Yes the house is amazing and the space is well furnished and the material noble (wood and stone)… but for us it was the stunning views of the entire valleys and the bright stars in the jacuzzi at night which made this place unforgettable.

Ein kleines Paradies im Périgord: Wenn es das Wort Gastfreundschaft noch nicht gäbe – für Béatrice und Jacky müsste man es erfinden. Wir verbrachten fünf unvergessliche Nächte in ihrem liebevoll gestalteten Häuschen – mit viel Natur, Tieren und Ruhe zum Durchatmen. Ihr Hund Nelson war freundlich zu unserem, das Pferd Bohème blieb uns ebenfalls in Erinnerung. Béatrice und Jacky sind mit Herz, Humor und Herzlichkeit für ihre Gäste da – aufmerksam, offen und wunderbar warm. Unvergesslich bleibt das mehrgängige Menü mit Spezialitäten aus dem Périgord, das Béatrice mit so viel Liebe gekocht und beide charmant serviert haben. Ein anderes Mal haben wir gemeinsam musiziert, am letzten Abend saßen wir nochmal bei gutem Essen, Wein und Gesprächen beisammen. Mit ihren Tipps konnten wir die Region wunderbar entdecken. Selbst beim Gewitter mit Stromausfall war Jacky gleich zur Stelle. Das Häuschen ist bestens ausgestattet, der Pool herrlich. Es war einfach traumhaft. Merci de tout cœur – à bientôt

We have stayed at a lot of different accommodation over the years and this place is definitely a stand out one! It is so beautiful, peaceful and relaxing and hosts Alicja and Michel are just the loveliest people you could wish to meet. They go above and beyond to make your stay special. Let Alicja cook you dinner, her food is out of this world and Michel is the best waiter, handyman and such good fun to chat to. The only thing we would change is not having to leave 😀 Thank you both so so much , we cannot wait to come back and don’t forget to let us know if you ever want to house swap 😜😜😜

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in einem wunderbaren ruhigen großen Park. Die Rosen duften und die Terrasse bietet viel Platz zum entspannen. Die Vögel hört man abends sowie die Frösche am Teich… es waren tolle drei Tage, ein perfekter Abschluss nach der Stadt.

This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

Our stay was a lovely dream. The outdoor kitchen and pretty garden with bath was a place you might envisage in a fantasy. We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and chocolates. Although the weather was unusually hot we were nice and cool within the traditional thick stone walls of the house. It was wonderful to sit in the garden and watch the canoes floating round the bend of the the winding Dordogne river. We are very grateful for the experience. Thank you Steve and Eve. Logement spacieux, lumineux, très propre avec un petit balcon ensoleillé et vue sur la cathédrale. Parking gratuit au pied de l immeuble. 10mn a pieds du centre ville en longeant la rivière. Nous avons passé un super weekend. La climatisation est un plus avec les fortes chaleurs. Nous recommandons.

Je kan je geen betere gastheer wensen dan Arnaud! Pro actief of alles naar wens is, of informerend of hulp nodig is. Via de app om je rust en privacy te respecteren, maar nemen de tijd voor een gesprek als je dat wilt. De accommodatie is nieuw en gezellig ingericht met oog voor details. Wij voelden ons er gelijk thuis! De dikke muren houden warmte buiten en je kan er een goede nachtrust hebben in de heerlijke bedden en goede geluidsisolatie. De ligging is gunstig gelegen ten opzichte van de vele bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving. Er is al veel over geschreven in de introductie van Arnoud en Elodie, maar als je lekker rustig wilt zwemmen, aan de kant wilt relaxen en in de schaduw onder de bomen wilt liggen met een horeca voorziening erbij, ga dan naar Pont de Vicq in Le Buisson de Cadouin. Ook het plaatsje Monpazier is zeker de moeite waard! Normaal liggen supermarkten kilometers ver weg maar in deze plaats is er eentje op 900 meter. Arnoud, Elodie, dank voor de heerlijke tijd!!

Nous avons passé trois jours et deux nuits dans le magnifique studio d’Anne-Marie et Paul, et nous comptons bien y revenir dès que possible. Un véritable petit cocon, très bien équipé et idéalement situé dans un environnement calme et idyllique. Et quelle vue depuis la terrasse ! Nous avons profité de belles balades tout autour du village, et notre chien Marcus était aux anges. Que dire de l’accueil chaleureux et de la gentillesse d’Anne-Marie et Paul ? Nous nous sommes tout simplement sentis en famille. Anne-Marie a même pris le temps de partir en promenade avec nous, accompagnée de son adorable chien Jojo, pour nous faire découvrir les alentours. Mention spéciale pour les petites attentions qui font toute la différence : des œufs frais des poules de la maison, des bières bien fraîches et de délicieuses cerises nous attendaient à notre arrivée. Bref, allez-y les yeux fermés : ce n’est vraiment pas un Airbnb comme les autres.
