This place is absolutely awesome! Inside the old city walls in beautiful Evora yet close to the parking and outside roads. Pedro was very helpful and attentive host. All instructions were clear. Everything was as described. Everything worked as expected. We had a great stay. Thank you, Pedro!

This is an absolutely beautiful home. I say home, because it felt like a home and not a rental. It is beautifully furnished and decorated. There are many amenities such as nice towels and soaps and things that also give it the feel of a hotel. I highly recommend staying here. I only have two things to note that are important to know. They are not meant as critiques but just important to know. The parking spot would have been lovely but it was blocked by a neighbor’s illegally parked car. We were able to park for free right outside the city walls so it didn’t matter. I suggest just doing that and not wasting time trying to navigate the tiny streets. Second, while this is a huge apartment of many rooms, there is one large beautiful master bedroom and one small twin bedroom. This would be great for a family but if you are traveling as two friends, one friend definitely gets the short end of the stick. This is just a fact and not a criticism. We loved the apartment and recommend it.

We had a wonderful multi-generational family gathering at Lisa's house. The living room and pool area provided a comfortable gathering place enhanced by the beautiful landscaping and convenient location. Lisa was very helpful and accommodating and even sent photos of the baby crib and highchair in advance to reassure us that our 9 month old grandchild would be comfortable. She helped us plan our day trip to Lisbon, provided a chef, and a wonderful babysitter for our last night dinner out. She was super responsive and friendly and made the whole experience easy. The house is very tastefully furnished and the layout is well designed. Having the heated pool was a special treat. The manual for the house was such a helpful resource with links to recommended sites. We appreciated the effort taken to communicate all the information about the house and area in such an organized way. Thank you Lisa and Peter for a wonderful stay at your lovely Comporta home.

A estadia foi maravilhosa! A casa é confortável, limpa, bem equipada e cheia de pormenores que tornam tudo mais acolhedor. O ambiente é super tranquilo, ideal para descansar e desligar do ritmo do dia a dia. Os anfitriões foram impecáveis e a comunicação foi sempre fácil e simpática. Muito obrigada por tudo! Ficámos encantados com este monte alentejano perto de Arraiolos! Éramos 13, dos cinco aos setenta anos, e todos nos sentimos em casa. O espaço é acolhedor, tranquilo e cheio daquele charme alentejano que nos é tão familiar, até porque temos raízes na região. Adorámos os detalhes da decoração, a loiça Bordalo Pinheiro foi um toque especial que nos conquistou! A única sugestão que temos para melhorar ainda mais a experiência seria a disponibilização de algumas bicicletas. Seria ótimo poder explorar os arredores de forma divertida e em contacto com a natureza. Muito obrigada por nos proporcionarem um fim de semana tão especial. Voltaremos com todo o gosto!

Beautiful roof terrace in the countryside. Clean and modern house, perfect striking distance to Evora if you want to be in the countryside. Great to have a bed and cot for the kids.

The place is as described and shown. Being outside was even better than expected, with a view of Arraiolo's castle. The house represents the original concept of Airbnb, meaning this a house where people actually lived/live temporarily, so it has a lot of character and meaningful furniture/decor/paintings. You can really feel at home. It is very private, although the gardener can come at unexpected hours - talk with the owner if it is something that can bother you. The loving room is very comfortable, the bed was comfortable, and it was very nice to have meals outside. Don't forget to close all windows and doors when the sun starts to set, otherwise the house will get full of mosquitos and you may have a hard time getting to sleep. Our dog loved playing in the grass outside and we felt it was safe for her as the place is completely fenced. Sr. João and Sra. Cila where there to welcome us and during the checkout. They explained everything and communication was always good.
