Hotel holiday rentals in Norwegian Sea

A place with limited access to Internet, with no distractions. Very quiet and a bit remote, though easy to get to by a car. Be ready to cover last 300 meters on skis or snowshoes during snow season. Which is a part of the fun to me though. This is a unique experience of getting a feeling of extreme remoteness without actually being in a truly remote place, which may not be acceptable for everyone because of many reasons. The host is fantastic.

Very nice stay! The room was lovely and comfortable! The restaurant downstairs was delicious!

We stayed there only one night, but our room was very clean and everything was in order. There's a well equipped kitchen that is shared with the other guests, so you can cook on your own, which we really appreciated. The room fully met our expectations and was totally worth the price.

It was perfect size hotel with 7 rooms, big kitchen, big sitting & dining area, all available to ourselves so very good value for money for our group of 6 families travelling together. Tarja is an excellent host, arranged extra beds for our group size, ensured we had good stay and was available at all times whenever we needed. Just around 30-40 mins drive to Pori makes it a good location to visit Yyteri beach and archipelago everyday. The only downside was the racial comments a drunk lady from neighbouring home threw at our group one evening during our stay

Durita is a great host, her place is nice, and clean. Good location, easy access to downtown Torshavn, and most importantly, very affordable. Highly recommended!

it seems some reviews seen on internet sites of this lodge are from previous owners. check recent reviews. the room was very clean and comfortable. the entire setting on the Torneå was gorgeous. Max turned on the Sauna just for us every night. in August, there were few tourists, so it was quiet and private for us. we cooked for ourselves with all needed items, so I can't rate the restaurant.

Incredibly spacious and pleasant apartment, nicely and tastefully decorated! Lots of light in, quiet area and we slept incredibly well. The whole family very happy!

Ivan and his home are simply exceptional. The first day he approached us directly to be able to shop at a nearby supermarket. The house is wonderful, warm, with magnificent views and very well connected by public transport. 100% recommended! 😄

Slightly secluded hostel, ample parking space available. A very well-equipped kitchen with juice machine, tea bags, fully automatic coffee machine, etc. There were even basic foodstuffs available that you were allowed to use. There is a large common room with a few card and board games, a TV, and a PS4. You can take snow sticks and snowshoes for hiking. On each floor there is one or more toilets and a shower. An incredibly good place to stay. Can only recommend it!

Big mistake!!! We only stayed one night but we should have stayed all the time we spent on Andøa and the Lofotes (5 days). This place is a hidden gem. Nothing spectacular once you arrive but the beauty of the nature and hospitality of the owner grab you at once. We didn’t want to leave next day. There are so many things to discover. We will definitely come back. Lisbeth prepared great food for dinner and breakfast. We had dinner at some nice places in Norway (including Arresten restaurant in Andenes) but this was clearly the best (local ox cheeks so tender after cooking for hours). My wife is on a vegan diet and Lisbeth arranged greatly on very short notice (and it was not this artificial vegan precooked stuff). Lisbeth has so many great ideas and initiatives, some alive and others surfacing shortly. She was also super helpful providing ideas and contacts for the local setting. We were very thankful to find the place. Again, we will come back.
