Farmstay holiday rentals in Norwegian Sea

The house is located on a beautiful hill overlooking the ocean & surrounding mountains, but with winter conditions a good car is definitely recommend. It’s cozy & the bedroom with the fireplace and chairs overlooking the area is stunning. Things to improve: Include timber (the owner was so kind & brought us some because we didn’t know we have to bring our own), maybe lower the price a little bit, the check in & checkout times & also making the beds ourselves we hoped it would be included in the amount of money we paid. But that’s only our opinion and we would definitely come back because we felt very comfortable in the house! Good distance to beaches, a nice coastal walk & also Leknes :)

Great cosy place, small kitchen but everything you might need :) lovely hikes nearby and fun pool table and ping pong in the shed next to the house.

We had such a lovely stay at Bruvoll Feriehus - the home is very cosy with all the amenities for a relaxing, peaceful stay in this beautiful area of Norway. We found the home clean and comfortable. Annike was always friendly and quick to respond to our questions. Check in and out were both easy with clear instructions.

Our stay at The Opera Farm was so peaceful and absolutely beautiful! We came to celebrate our daughter’s graduation and we had the best time seeing the lovely views, hiking near by and going out in the paddle boat on the lake. The house was cozy and quaint and well decorated. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook while we were there. We decided to eat two of our meals at the hotel on the mountain above our house that is owned by the farm and it was the most amazing dinner and breakfast I have ever had! The chefs were fantastic and the food was unique and so flavorful in every way! Everything was perfectly cooked! The view from the hotel restaurant is breathtaking. I highly recommend anyone who stays in this house to at least eat one meal at the hotel. Everyone we encountered from the beginning to end was so kind and helpful to us. We would definitely love to go back and stay here again sometime in the future!

We loved this cozy home. The upstairs sitting loft was our favorite part of the house - we spent our evenings there watching the view out the windows and listening to the sheep and lambs below. It was a wonderful, comfortable stay in beautiful Suðeroy. Thanks for sharing your home with us, Kate!

All the conditions were met for a pleasant stay. The apartment is comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the calm and bedding. Marit was very responsive and attentive.

Very easily a top-notch AirBnB experience — 10/10! Ivar and Astrid go above and beyond sharing their accommodations and cultivating a charming, cozy stay rich in family history. A peaceful oasis surrounded by nature for the adventurous. We adjusted our trip to spend more time here! Each detail — from the furniture, kitchen amenities and sauna to the radio, book collection, and wood burning stove — made us feel right at home. We hope to be back one day.

Idar and Kirsti's small traditional home, high on the mountainside, has a spectacular setting with panoramic views of the fjord and surrounding mountains - we found it breath-taking! The location was so peaceful and relaxing. We visited in the later spring and the meadows around the house were full of wild flowers and our hosts had dressed each room with a vase of fresh flowers. The house was beautifully clean and not too cluttered. It was clear that our hosts had made the extra effort to make the house welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed. Idar provided a personal and friendly welcome and gave us some good advice on areas to walk in the surrounding area. We deliberately avoided tourist attractions and more popular locations, and were rewarded with some spectacular walks through valleys, forests and high mountain pastures - unforgettable experiences. We would return to this area and house without hesitation.

First of all..we were glad that we got this place…the host responded and assisted us to a late night check in and last minute reservation…we had a problem from an original reservation from a different town and location (midsund)..as soon as the Host respond within a minute that minute..we drove quickly..second to the last fery ride crossing molde…Welcome by the owner…OMGosh ..the farm house is gorgeous…For me this kinda 1 out 50 accommodations thats rarely to find if you know what i mean….Spacious…clean..private..and super comfortable :) …we so happy…honestly i dont wanna leave :)….thank you so much for hosting us and keep up the good work you guys done in the farm :)

We had a wonderful stay! The sauna and jacuzzi were absolute highlights and made for a truly relaxing experience. The surroundings are peaceful and perfect for unwinding. Overall, a fantastic accommodation that we would gladly recommend and visit again!

The Farm was a beautiful and peaceful place on the Faroe Islands! We enjoyed our three night stay in the company of the many farm animals. Harriet & John were very pleasant hosts and were eager to make sure our stay was comfortable. We were even treated to fresh eggs, bread, and milk and had a fully stocked kitchen to prepare meals while enjoying the fabulous views. There were many personal touches inside the cabin, and it was clear that a lot of care went into the design. The location was peaceful and quiet, yet not far away from anything you could want. We highly recommend a stay at The Farm!

Silje's cabin on their dairy farm was wonderful! The views from the cabin are nothing short of spectacular! The cabin itself was clean, roomy enough and checked the boxes for a comfy bed and good water pressure in the shower that was easy to regulate (although the enclosure was small, like most of the Airbnb's we've stayed at in Scandinavia)... The whole vibe was private and peaceful, just keep in mind it is a working farm, with the associated aromas and equipment sounds... Fairly short drives to things to see and do near Olden/Stryn... If she's available, have her give a tour of the dairy operation--fascinating and informative! We appreciated her passion for the animals and the farm... We LOVED our stay here!

Traveling in Norway since the beginning of June, this accommodation deserves the Palme d'Or!! Everything is perfect, the welcome, the small gifts... it's the only place where we had this most beautiful welcome and what an area for this more than reasonable price - thank you very much

Super location and exactly as described. We really enjoyed all the amenities, the area and the wildlife around the house such as various bird species. The house has nice and nice old touches and accessories which we really found a more value. The hottub was great and super place. Our host Cato was always super quick and helpful. We felt right at home. The house is beautifully situated above Favang with a great view. We were greeted nicely and had everything we needed. Communication with Julia was excellent. We had enough wood for the stove to make ourselves comfortable. We were able to spend a nice week skiing. For cross-country skiing, Hafjell is better suited and also only 30 minutes away. We will be happy to come back.

The cottage was in a beautiful location. The cottage corresponded to the description and was a functional whole. Good fishing opportunities. Tommy was a hospitable host

We really loved our stay! The apartment was perfect for our trip around the Lofoten. The area is quiet but still super central for driving around and going for hikes. Also we were able to charge our EV which was just perfect. If we are able to revisit the Lofoten we would always come back to this absolute gem!

We had a lovely stay at Jo's apartment. It is a nice space that is bigger than it looks in the photos. Serene countryside location which is walking distance to hiking trails and a very short drive to town. We stayed two nights but wish we had stayed for longer! Thank you!

The accommodation is located on the ground floor of Anna and Robert's house. The view of the mountains and the lake is really beautiful. Now in summer, the garden is beautifully green and the hot tub is highly recommended. There are numerous possibilities to do something in the area. Hannah and Robert give great tips on things to do. You can spend a week or more there. If we are in the area again, we will stay with Anna and Robert again.
