Waterfront holiday rentals in Northwest Territories

What an incredible place! it was spacious, beautifully appointed (with many special touches), and had an incredible view out onto a peaceful lake. But the best part was the host, Ruth. Ruth was very proactive in various ways to make certain that my stay was comfortable and turned out well. I honestly am not sure that one could wish for a better host. Watson Lake is a very beautiful town with so much to recommend it. I want to come back to do more there, and when I do I know exactly where I will be staying!

A wonderful place to stay! We enjoyed walking on the (frozen) lake and all the nearby places to eat, also walking distance. Check out SunDog and NWT Brewery and Bullocks. Definitely need reservations at the last two. A major highlight was Old Town Glassworks right across the street from the Inn. Check it out, support a unique local business and take home a personalized souvenir. Beautiful view from the 2nd story and very comfortable and cozy. The furnace is very loud especially in 2 of the bedrooms so bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper Will go back to see how different it is in the summer!

The apartment is wonderful， clean, with an amazing view of the lake and very well-equipped amenities. It’s in a good location, and George is a nice host. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed staying in this beautiful 3rd story apartment. Everything was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. We had great weather so spent a lot of time on the deck watching the float planes and boats come and go. It’s in the perfect location to walk around Old Town- close to Bullocks restaurant and The Woodward/NWT Brewing Co (and across the street from the still closed Wild Cat Cafe). Parking was good- no issues. The sunrise/sunset/continuous sun! views were amazing. We would love to come back to Yellowknife and would try to stay here again!

We loved this space! the hosts have done an amazing job with the renovations. it feels new, clean, and homey. the bed is especially comfortable! the space is right on the lake and we enjoyed walks with the dogs several times a day. amazing experience!

We had a great time in Yellowknife, and this rental was the perfect location, right on the lake with view of the Aurora. Home was clean, warm, and welcoming, with great views. Had everything we needed for our weeks stay. Really got the feeling of what its like to live in yellowknife.

Lorena's place looked just like the photos and was pleasant to stay at. The view of the lake was amazing!

Delilah is the most friendly Airbnb host I have met, and it’s one of my best Airbnb stay with the most delicious breakfast. She even offered to cook us dinner upon finding out we are arriving very late. The home is very warm and nice, and Delilah is always very friendly and offer lots of good advice for places around the area. The aurora is visible right from the bedroom window and the location is perfect for driving the ice road, and some peace away from downtown with minimal light pollution for good aurora viewing right at the yard, but close enough only 3 mins drive to food. Room is very clean and neat, and feels like a home away from home. Would definitely recommend!

The home on its own is magical, mesmerizing artwork, the decorations are worthy to spend time on and enjoy looking at. Prep for the trip and during adventures is amazing with Tamar. Quick, respectful, friendly communication. Location truly is a WOW factor, Aurora Borelis danced for us at the house each night. Neighbourhood is amazing, peace and quiet waits for you here. Well equipped house, ready for providing a wonderful home experience away from home. I enjoyed Tamar letting me care for houseplants a bit, it is my hobby in my own home too. The room and bathroom were clean and easy to use.As soon as you get out, you can walk to the lake and walk to the city.Best location!The owner is also friendly and always gets back to you.

This seems to be the nicest house in YKnife & the host's family retreat. The house seems young & it is decorated in a tasteful, Arctic style. Undoubtedly the host is a super host: friendly, helpful, caring, tasteful. The only inconveniences are wait time for room temp water in the ground floor bathrooms, the master is the only en suite, no garbage disposal, no toaster.

Very kind and wonderful host. Please take care of it with sincerity. The cabin is clean and the kitchen is easy to use and very comfortable. Recommended for you!
