Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Northern Vietnam

The house by the bamboo forest in Tả Van is a place I always want to return to whenever I need rest and a reset. This season, the roses in the garden are in full bloom, and the village is incredibly beautiful the locals have started planting rice during the water-pouring season, turning the valley into a stunning mirror of the sky. The house is lovingly cared for by Sen and the housekeeper, and every morning, a chef comes over to prepare delicious meals. I truly enjoy staying here this is already my second time, and I’m sure I’ll bring my family back for another stay in the future.

O espaço era muito espaçoso, tinha ar condicionado em todas as divisões. O jacuzi grande mas acabamos por não usar 😅! A menina Huong foi muito atenciosa e ajudou em tudo sempre que foi preciso. Sempre que tínhamos alguma dúvida a menina Huong ajudou sempre muito! ☺️ Quem tiver dificuldade em dormir com muita luz, trazer uma venda é obrigatório! Recomendo muito.

Diep’s home was a great stay! Nestled away near the Opera House, it was beautiful and a great location. All of the amenities were accurate. It allowed for us to access the different attractions around Hanoi. We really appreciate the services provided like arranging both a car pickup and drop off at the airport. Thanks for the great stay!

Yên’s place was a beautiful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of Sapa. We really enjoyed our stay and were grateful for the clear instructions(including video) of how to find the property. It’s a basic accommodation close to nature but has the essentials like a hot shower, fan/heater, mosquito net, cooking appliances and cutlery to prepare small meals. Yên himself was very kind and attentive to our needs and would go above and beyond to make sure we’re were happy and comfortable.

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The house has so much character-each floor leading up to the top felt like it had its own story to tell, with thoughtful little details and beautiful visuals everywhere. It felt like stepping into a movie set, but in the most natural, lived-in way. Our room on the top floor was peaceful, clean, and really well taken care of. Lan was amazing she wasn’t just a host, she felt like a friend. Always kind, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. When we had an emergency, even the owner came in person to help and acted quickly. That kind of care really stood out. I’d 100% stay here again if I come back to Vietnam. It’s a special place, and I’m grateful we found it.

This place is wonderful! So much space for what you pay and it’s an easy walk to train street. The coffee/wine shop on the first floor is lovely and all the employees were sweet and welcoming.

Beautiful interior, very convenient location in the middle of Old Quarter. Quiet and insulated from the noise of the main street because it is further inside the building complex. Host was helpful and responsive.

Super schöne Unterkunft am See mit Blick auf die Pagode. Die Gastgeber waren super freundlich und haben sich sehr gekümmert um unsere Anliegen. Das Zimmer ist zwar klein, aber sehr gemütlich und schön eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Super Aufenthalt, nicht ganz in der Innenstadt aber trotzdem gut zu erreichen. Mega Aussicht aus der Wohnung, toll eingerichtet und sehr gemütlich.

This place is amazing! Beautiful, super homey, exactly in the photos, fast wifi and gives everything I need during my stay. Has small balcony where I can sit and relax when the weather is nice. Located in an old apartment building on third floor, but it’s not too hard to go to the room. Also, the host, Lan, helps me with my luggage to take it to the room. The host is super helpful, communicative, and proactive. Location right in the old quarter, near some good restaurants and coffee shops! Would love to come back next time!

Jesse was a wonderful host. Super responsive and easy to communicate with. The place was perfect. A short walk to the Old Quarter if you want to get into the hustle and bustle but the right amount of clam if you need a little escape. There are lots of things close by to the apartment. The staff at the coffee shop were super lovely too. It was a great base for exploring Hanoi !! Thank you !

We really enjoyed our stay with Veque. The Airbnb was spacious and had everything we needed. The only drawback was its distance from the street as it was about a 3 minute walk through a few alleys although signs did clearly mark where to go.

One of the few AirBnb places that looks exactly like the pictures! This was a really beautiful apartment with full amenities, fast wifi, strong A/C, and even a washer and dryer (which is a rare find in Vietnam). Really a joy to stay here and the host is super responsive and friendly.

Đã đi du lịch nhiều nơi, đặt phòng trên nhiều nền tảng khác nhau nhưng có thể khẳng định rằng trải nghiệm lần này tại phòng thuê của host Chi là cực kì ấn tượng. Ấn tượng đầu tiên là tính hiếu khách của chủ nhà. Ms Chi rất thân thiện, luôn sẵn sàng giải đáp các thắc mắc cũng như hỗ trợ tôi khi có vấn đề này sinh hoặc yêu cầu sử dụng dịch vụ lân cận. Ấn tượng tiếp theo là phòng ốc. Tất cả các tiện nghi đều giống như mô tả, sạch sẽ, đầy đủ. Chỉ vài bước chân từ phòng là ra đến biển, vô cùng tiện lợi. Và cuối cùng là giá phòng cũng như giá các dịch vụ lân cận đi kèm là rất hợp lí. Một chuyến đi quá hoàn hảo! Nhất định tôi sẽ trở lại và giới thiệu cho bạn bè của tôi khi có kế hoạch đến với Hạ Long! quả thật đây là lần đầu tiên tôi quar thaatj thật sự tôi có ấn tượng mạnh mẽ với dịch vụ phòng lần này trên AirBnB

One of the rare gems where the place looks exactly like the photos! Super clean, well-maintained, and just as beautiful in person. Perfect for up to 2 couples. Just a heads-up: cars can’t go all the way in, but it’s only a 5-minute walk from the main road—or just hop on a Grab bike, and you’re sorted. Other than that, it’s a solid Airbnb! Will definitely be back next time I’m in town. .

Tuan’s apartment is an absolute gem - brand new, spotless, and beautifully designed. It’s comfortable, practical, and feels incredibly cozy - we felt at home right away. Tuan is a model host: he responds quickly, is always helpful, and actively suggests great local experiences. The Japanese-style neighborhood is stunning and peaceful - perfect for relaxing walks. Nearby, you’ll find the Mori Onsen complex with hot springs, massage salons, a swimming pool, and a gym - everything you need to take care of both body and mind. There are also plenty of delicious restaurants around, and getting to Hanoi is very easy. Highly recommended - a solid 10/10!

Absolutely loved our stay at this apartment beside West Lake in Hanoi. The view from the balcony was stunning—peaceful lake by day, sparkling cityscape by night. The apartment was clean, stylish, and well-equipped, perfect for relaxing after exploring the city. The location is ideal, with cafés, restaurants, and local attractions just a short walk away. It offered the perfect blend of Hanoi’s vibrant culture and calm lakeside charm. Our host was friendly and responsive, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hanoi. We’d definitely love to stay here again!

This is the second time I'm staying at An An's place and it was just as splendid as the first time! An An is very quick to respond and helped us out with all our queries. The sunset views are incredible! Grab services very easily here since we found cabs easily and ordered our dinner via grab. My only regret is that we did not have time to use the pool this time!

Team mình đi 6 người, cực kì hài lòng về sự tiện nghi của căn hộ. Mọi thứ sạch sẽ, đầy đủ như ở nhà từ những thứ nhỏ nhất. Decor tinh tế, sang trọng nhưng vẫn rất ấm cúng. View từ ban công ngắm hoàng hôn cực kì chill, quay timelapse cực đỉnh. Chủ nhà chắc chắn là người chỉn chủ đến từng chi tiết trong nhà, mọi điểm chạm trải nghiệm khách hàng rất tinh tế và chuyên nghiệp. Vị trí rất trung tâm.
