Beachfront holiday rentals in Northern Mindanao

a lot of things can be adjusted and compromised but the most important thing for me is the staff - and this place nailed it! I love the staff, so accommodating and friendly. will definitely be coming back here in our next trip.

Anthony is such an amazing host! I booked his Airbnb during Holy Week, specifically on Good Friday, for a family trip at Dela Paz Panaon Misamis Occidental—and it was perfect. The place is very spacious, with wide open areas and plenty of parking. What made it even better is that it’s located right in front of the beach—peaceful, relaxing, and just what we needed. Anthony and his wife were incredibly accommodating and attentive to all our requests. They truly went out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable stay. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, and throughout our visit, they made us feel so welcome. I highly recommend staying at their place. Anthony is not just a good host—he’s one of the best I’ve experienced!

It was a great stay overall, I appreciate the responsiveness and the hosts family even welcomed us. There were some items that need to be fixed but didn’t really impacted our stay. A great place to stay if you want peaceful, quiet, and beautiful view/scenery.

We had the best time in the treehouse with a stunning view of the ocean. Alfred and Maria are the perfect hosts, putting so much love into their home and sharing this beautiful place with their guests. Despite the strong wind, we slept wonderfully – including a mosquito net (which wasn’t even necessary because there are no mosquitoes). In the morning, there was coffee and a delicious organic homemade breakfast (available for a fair extra charge). The dogs are super sweet and act as the feel-good managers. We wish we had more time to spend at this fantastic and loving place. Thanks to the excellent WiFi, it’s also suitable for digital nomads, even with occasional power outages. We can truly recommend this accommodation!

This place is lovely! We wanted a peaceful place with a beautiful beach and got exactly that! Breakfast, lunch and dinner is available and we could rent a scooter there.

Great place to stay of you want some peace an quiet at an affordable rate. Accessible to food places as well.

I had been there before for a 1 day stay. It is a beautiful place and since I had to be in Mindanao for the holidays, I thought it would be a treat. I went there as a solo traveler. 3 days later I was hosting a traditional Philippines Christmas Party complete with a Lechon. 3 days earlier I had dinner with some new, local friends and we came up with the idea of a party. As soon as I mentioned it to Mary Joy, she presented me with all kinds of options I didn't know the hotel offered. 3 days later at little cost (relative to western standards) we had an event! I have never had such an experience at an Airbnb. I can't remember interacting with Mary Joy without hugging her. It is almost trite to say I was treated like family - but I was. Cannot reccommend the MJF Hotel highly enough..

Malin beach resort is one of a kind. If you want to spend time with your family/friends, this is a place for you. It has a private kitchen as well as refrigerator, utensils (for eating and cooking). It feels like you own the whole resort for it provides exclusive areas for you and the whole beach front. The host is very responsive and very helpful. There is also a multicab available for rent in a cheap price which is good for roaming around the island. Their care taker kuya Ricardo and nanay are very friendly and accommodating. Their care taker drivers: Kuys Kent (pick-up and drop off) and Kuya Ricky (during day tour) are also very friendly, they even act as the tour guide during our trip. I think i am going to go against a previous review, Indeed, we are asked for 1000 pesos of security deposit on arrival, but without damage on our part, we are returned to us on departure. Nothing extraordinary! SO if you are looking for the right plan to be exotic, quiet, in an idyllic location, look no longer. Bungalow by the pool, the sea 20m away and a small restaurant bar at the foot of the water with high quality dishes. The boss and staff are very kind. I would highly recommend it. Thank you all.

This place was absolutely amazing. The room itself was so comfortable and nice! Grace was extremely helpful and responsive, and we were able to rent motorbikes and had a laundry service! The views were amazing with a great sunset view, where we actually got engaged on the balcony. Unforgettable.

If you will go to Camiguin make sure that you will stay at this wonderful place and amazing staff :-)

This place is perfect if you either just want a quiet weekend by the beach, or host a party and then have the place all to yourselves when the guests leave. It’s clean, well-maintained, and has a great view. The owners and their workers were on hand to assist. Overall, we had a great stay at this place.
