We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage. It was so very peaceful and we loved being literally right around n the water! Slept amazingly well and the cottage was just lovely! Robert was also a great host. 5 stars all around and we hope to return again!

The place is beautiful! Even better than the pictures. The hot tub was so relaxing and the view is gorgeous. Lots of privacy for a quiet getaway. The place is very clean and Jess is a great host. She’s very friendly and responsive and also gives you privacy which we really appreciated. The place has everything you need for a comfortable stay, the host has even thought about the small things! We loved this place and I would definitely recommend it!! We would love to visit again! :)

Lovely place and just as it was described. Cooked steak and shrimp on the grill one night and everything worked fantastic. Very close to town-ate out at the Altana Rooftop Lounge on Friday night and it was a very nice location downtown. The bed was firm and one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in (on the road) in years. The deck and hot tub facing the creek was perfect Overall a wonderful trip we look forward to coming back Thanks for being a great host!!

We had a GREAT time at Feyza’s cabin. It was clean, quiet and exactly as described. We especially loved the secluded setting, the lake views and the jacuzzi. Feyza was helpful, communicative and very responsive. Her digital guidebook was very insightful as to the local attractions and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderfully appointed cabin almost in the woods. Great balance of privacy and accessibility to area amenities and services. Appalachian trail, historic Gettysburg, Amish farm stands/dairies/sawmills all within a <30 min drive. Great outdoor firepit, chiminea and camp stoves under strings of lights. Indoor kitchen fully functional for indoor cooking. Jessica obviously put love and care into this great space. Used it as a couples getaway, but the loft is good for 2 sleepers if you are a family. On my list of places to revisit.

This cottage was absolutely beautiful and perfect for a couple’s getaway! We loved how private the cottage was and the privacy fence around the backyard. The fire pit was a great way to wind down and enjoy s’mores (provided by the hosts) at the end of the night. The hot tub was also a perfect way to relax and unwind after a day of hiking. We loved that the instructions were provided so we explicitly knew what to do and not to do. The bed and bed covers were very comfortable and incredibly clean! We enjoyed all the little details put into decorating the cottage without being cluttered. While we didn’t need to use more than a few utensils when staying there, the kitchen was fully stocked and even had a little Keurig coffee bar to use if desired. This cottage was well worth the price and a phenomenal place to stay while visiting Lake Wallenpaupack. It’s close enough to important and fun places, but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend!!!!!!

Bob & Julie's they were excellent hosts! The house and property are beautiful! This place is one we would return to without hesitation. It was very clean and included everything needed in the kitchen at home cooking. Hot tub was awesome with amazing view on the lake. The wood burning fire pit was one of our favorites about the house. Highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a great place to stay. Would definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Carlow and Karen’s cozy little cabin. So many small details that did not go unnoticed and made our first family getaway so special- excellent communication, super comfortable beds and linens, a wonderful shower, small fairy lights that were so cozy at night. A beautiful yard with water views were priceless. The swing and the dock were a hit with the kids. We can’t wait to return!

The cabin was in a beautiful setting and right on the water. The cabin is very rustic but had all the comforts of home. The cabin is what I expected and wanted. Having grown up in the area, I already knew how beautiful the area is and what to expect.

We had a wonderful stay at Ke/Shannon’s place—it was peaceful, clean, and perfect for our group of five. The home included all the listed amenities, and we appreciated the thoughtful touch of snacks left for us on arrival. Shannon was incredibly responsive, answering our questions almost immediately. The view of the lake is beautiful, and the private dock was a great spot to relax outdoors. While the lake is quite weedy for swimming or fishing, the provided kayaks are a nice option to explore the water. Would definitely recommend!

My wife and I were looking for a relaxing, peaceful place to spend our wedding anniversary and John’s place more than delivered. The grounds were beautiful and the views were breathtaking. The house was clean and cosy with large windows for letting in the sunlight and fresh air. The sounds of the river were incredibly calming. Leave the white noise machine at home and let the river sing you to sleep! Our dog had plenty of room to run around the property and she loved daily visits to the river, as we did too. The nearby town had some nice restaurants that John recommended, the Heron being our favorite! We had everything we needed and plenty of accommodations were provided, but it was clear that if you needed anything, John would make it happen for you. We loved this place and would absolutely stay there in the future.

We loved the house! Felt right at home and comfortable and was close driving distance to Hudson and a lot of activities we wanted to do in the area. Hosts were friendly and responsive, and we would love to stay again sometime!

Stay at FengQing's place was fantastic! Cozy cabin, beautiful farm and super friendly animals. I really enjoyed my "quiet time " in the beautiful chines pavilion on the pond . Property is very private and serene ,perfect for nature lovers. We can't wait to come back. Our host was quick to respond and very helpful

Kevin has created a truly magical getaway. There was so much love put into every detail of the place. Not only was the inside super cosy and cute (there’s an indoor hammock!!), the outside was like a magical fairy glade with fairy lights and stone paths abound! Our dog absolutely loved the lake and she was super safe as the cabin is FAR off any busy roads and secluded. We had a blast kayaking and hanging out in the lake! We even drove over to Sugar Loaf NY only around 10 min away, which had beautiful shops, breweries, and vintage stores. It was a beautiful weekend getaway! Would recommend it to anyone looking for a pup friendly vacation away from the city.

5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We absolutely loved our stay at the Cottage on the Lake in Thompson, Connecticut! The home is charming, beautiful, and immaculately kept—the perfect peaceful getaway. Jan, the host, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable from start to finish. She checked in with us multiple times during our stay to ensure we had everything we needed, and her kindness and attentiveness made us feel genuinely cared for. We felt so at home here. The neighborhood was just as welcoming—we even got to know the friendly neighbors and their adorable dog, Gigi, next door! This cottage has quickly become a favorite of ours, and we’re already looking forward to making it one of our regular Airbnb stays for years to come. Thank you, Jan, for such a wonderful experience!

Smokey pines is the perfect getaway. It's private, secluded yet close to the towns and people we want to visit. It feels homey and comfortable and has all the amenities required. We'll definitely be back!

Place was amazing! Beach is so nice and relaxing, we loved the sounds of the waves with the sunset. Great place for a family vacation or couples get away. There was horse riding near by, the place we went to was horseplay and it was great. The front room was great for relaxing after spending time by the water or doing other activities!! Kitchen was really nice, the little coffee maker was perfect in the morning for yummy quick coffee. Bed was super comfy in the main bedroom. We used the extra room for our luggage, worked out perfect.

Absolutely loved my time here. Wish I was still sitting on the deck watching the loons! Beautiful, peaceful location. House has everything we needed, and it was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place, and I hope to stay here again someday.

Fantastic few days spent relaxing by the lake. Views were beautiful and the home is exactly as shown in the photos. Everything from start to finish was just right. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

My husband and I wanted a quiet, laid-back honeymoon after the craziness of our wedding day (good crazy, of course), and Rachel’s cottage was exactly what we were looking for. The cottage itself is quaint and cozy in a quiet, remote area, with a very comfortable king-sized bed. Water pressure and temp were perfect. The cottage is centrally located between Montpelier, Stowe, and Burlington, so there was so much to do and explore. The tea and coffee Rachel provides is perfect to start your day on the deck overlooking the beautiful Vermont landscape. At night, you can hear the frogs, birds, and other animals surrounding the grounds of the cottage. I can’t overstate how beautiful the views are! Rachel was very attentive to our needs, and she graciously came to welcome us when we arrived. She also checked in with us during our stay to make sure we were comfortable and has everything we needed. We highly recommend!

The location was great—close to our favorite towns and all the attractions we love like Bethel Arts Center. The house feels private, like you're alone in the middle of the woods, which made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. We especially enjoyed the pool, and the house was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. The hosts were also very responsive and accommodating with all our requests, which made the experience even better.
