This house and stay were exactly what we needed! We are a quiet family that loves peaceful spaces. The home was beautiful, well maintained, clean, updated, and extremely well appointed. Access to both the beach and lake was easy, as was getting into and out of town. Jack proactively reached out to us when we got there to ensure everything was in order and offered assistance if we needed anything. We didn’t need anything during the week but we felt good knowing he was available. We met some of the neighbors in passing and they were friendly and welcoming, too. Wonderful experience!

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to reconnect as a family. This charming property in Cape Charles was exactly what we needed—a peaceful, walkable retreat just steps from the beach. It was ideal for our grown children who are in different cities and families, looking to spend meaningful time together. The home itself was quiet and quaint; with all the comforts we needed and a touch of that small-town coastal charm. The views were exceptional sunsets over the water that we’ll be talking about for a long time. There was no shortage of things to do. We indulged in local ice cream, enjoyed a memorable horseback ride, tried our luck fishing, and of course, soaked up plenty of beach time. Cape Charles has such a welcoming, easy-going vibe that makes everything feel simple and relaxing. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty of the Eastern Shore.

Nate was very responsive from booking , all the way through our stay. He was very flexible due to our circumstances and juggling vacation with 2 young children and 2 labradors. I would recommend this home to anyone with a family or pets as it offers the interior space that cape Charles historic homes lack while maintaining the same proximity to the town’s attractions.

We had four generations rendezvous for the week on the property and it was a wonderful time for all family members from 2 to 89 in age. Our days were spent pulling croaker and trout off the dock, paddling and splashing around the bay on paddleboards, swimming in the pool, savoring the panoramic view off the bulkhead, and dinners on the back patio. This property truly captures the essence of Delmarva living. On the last day of the trip we all agreed-we need to return!

I rented Jason and Melisa’s place to host my parents, grandmother, and two aunts for the weekend of my wedding at the Oyster Farm. The space was perfect for their group; they loved their stay. It was very convenient how close it was to the venue and downtown Cape Charles.

Our stay was wonderful. Jill was very responsive and handled everything quickly and efficiently. We stayed here with our aging parents and the accommodations were great. The house was easy to navigate for both of them. The town was quiet and the beach and pool were lovely. Fantastic place to reset and recharge. Thank you! We are looking forward to returning for another visit.

Our family had a wonderful week stay at Kevin and LaGora’s home. The house itself was beautiful and was in a great location. We used golf carts the entire week to get around the community - to the beach and pool - and also to get into town. Kevin and LaGora were so quick to respond and helped with any questions we had. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!

We were in town for our son’s wedding and enjoyed our stay very much. Jason responded quickly to the few questions we had. We would definitely stay again.

Slowtide Cottage was a perfect spot for our family's vacation! The boho coastal decor throughout the home was really beautiful, comfortable and inviting- just like the photos! We loved the backyard space with the screened in porch (our kids watched TV out there every morning) and the front yard was also great for kicking the soccer ball and playing. The mattresses were all incredibly comfortable- a "must have" for us when away for a week's vacation - and it was the perfect amount of space for us to be comfortable and spread out. Overall a really fantastic home- would definitely come back again!

We loved our stay at Kevin and Joans place! It was very well stocked with everything our family needed for the beach trip, from a great golf cart, beach toys, chairs, toys/games for the house and all the kitchen supplies you need. the place itself was clean, thoughtfully decorated and had an amazing private backyard with a hot tub that we used every night. Would highly recommend and will be back!

We adore The Little Gem. Our second time staying here. Walking distance to the beach (10ish minutes). Walking distance to downtown. Such a cute little cottage with everything you could possibly need. Clean, comfortable and the host was wonderful.

Beautiful home in Cherrystone, just 10 min drive to Cape Charles. Very convenient with all the perks of a well stocked kitchen, hot tub, & yard games. The home was large enough for our 8 guest, offering several spaces to relax. Our favorite spot was the kitchen table & outdoor spaces! The home was very clean, offered beach towels & all basic household supplies. We will definitely be back!

Our family has been coming to Cape Charles for our summer beach trip for the past 4 years. This is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at! We thought it would be great based on the photos and descriptions, but they honestly cannot do justice to how beautiful the inside of the house and backyard are. As we walked in and unpacked we all just said, "WOW." The house was pristine and very well stocked. The kitchen has everything you need. The beds were extremely comfortable - it's rare for all 5 of us to sleep well on a trip but we all did here. There are so many little details in the decor that we continually admired. The owners have done such a good job making this home a beautiful oasis. Our favorite part was the backyard space and the she shed, and one of my favorite parts was the waterfall shower in the master bath. The location is perfect. Right between the beach and the shops, and right across the street to the market, mini golf, and brewery. 10/10. we can't wait to book again!

Our family of 10 had a great time at Cape Cousins. Everything worked, beds were comfortable and clean. The screen porch was a great place to enjoy a breeze in the afternoon and a place for children to enjoy the grass on their toes after a day of sand and water. . Highly recommend Cape Cousins as a great place for three generations to renew family time.

Nareina was a great host. We had an issue come up prior to arrival and she worked with us and helped out tremendously. She was awesome to work with, very quick responses to questions, and very Pleasant. The house was great, very comfortable and close to area attractions. Outstanding fire pit in the back with great furniture. Very peaceful location and comfortable home!

The house was so well located in Cape Charles—close to beach and shops. I especially appreciated the little touches (lots of hooks for towels, extra mattresses in bunk room, labeled kitchen cabinets) and the frequent communications from Brad.

We needed a house at short notice as another one fell through. Sara was great. She replied straight away and was able to accommodate us straight away. Beautiful home, very well furnished. Large comfy beds. Thanks again.

We booked a girls trip, and all four of us loved this peaceful and safe location. Rooms were comfortable and tastefully, simply decorated. The house was furnished with books, games, and very nice outdoor spaces. We only wished that the Keurig and microwave had been listed as amenities, as well as filtered water from the refrigerator. We were surprised that soap was not provided in the showers. We loved our stay and hope to return for another trip. Ahren is very responsive to questions.

We enjoyed the house and the nice location to both the beach and the shops downtown, a great house for a big family to hangout in and kid friendly! However, there were some problems with mold in the washer which is our only complaint.

OBSESSED with this place and Cape Charles! The house was really very large. We had 6 adults and 6 kids, and there was plenty of room and sleeping areas. The house was immaculate, was lots of fun, and had everything you need, and the yard was amazing--firepit (with wood), string lights, big yard for kids to run around, quiet/calm street, and a park down the street. The beach is definitely walk-able, but there is also plenty of parking of you have a lot of stuff to bring. Emily was EXTREMELY responsive and kind, including a response back immediately when we messaged at 8 PM asking about a light switch. And Cape Charles is absolutely amazing. If you have never been, you need to go. The beach is shallow (great for kids) and very clean, all the other people were very nice, tons of fun restaurants, ice cream places, and breweries/distilleries. This house, this host, and this beach are absolutely amazing, and we will be back!!

We enjoyed our stay in Cape Charles. This house is the perfect location to the beach, the shops, and the park. We had a large group so we especially yappreciated the large kitchen, dining room, and multiple living rooms. Thank you!

Our family was very pleased with the overall experience, and this was our first time vacationing in the Cape Charles area. The Siren of the Cape is a beautifully restored treasure. Wonderful size kitchen, and a lot of thought went into stocking basic necessities for food prep. Host, Joseph, was great throughout the entire experience, very helpful, responsive, and accommodating. Enjoyed the beach, local mini golf course, Central Park kids playground, bike riding, and local food establishments. Beautiful area…very family friendly.

This was our second time staying at Jeff and Katie’s breakwater cottage. We continue to be impressed by how well thought out everything in the house is. From convenient outlets to sound machines and hanging hooks in every room. My multi-generational family is very comfortable here every year. It’s clear that this home is not “just” a rental place but a well loved home with all the amenities.

Definitely a unique experience and a great place to stay. I’ll be back again!
