Family-friendly holiday rentals in North Stradbroke Island

I live in the Gold Coast. My children and Grandchildren came over for a holiday from NZ. They loved the bnb. It was spacious and had everything we needed. The swimming pool was a highlight. The premises serviced our needs perfectly. A family of 5. The only let down was the weather so we didn’t use the bbq but we still manage to go on a lot of rides at all the theme parks. Keri we had a fabulous time and thank you for your beautiful bnb and your excellent communications.

This is the perfect house for a family getaway. The house has plenty of space , a great yard and pool. Big kitchen with 2 fridges. All of our friends had a great time for much needed catch up. Debbie- Lyn was very accommodating and easy to reach if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this house for your stay!

Had a great time staying here. Everything was as described. Not too far to walk down to the beach and resort area and there is a great view across the bay from the balcony!

We would have stayed longer if the place was available. We stayed for 1 week and it was well worth what we paid for. The place was homely, clean and spacious. We were able to cook our own meals with the fully equipped kitchen. The location is perfect, you have the train station across the road and you’re behind the town centre so everything is accessible via walk; restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries. But importantly, it’s still quiet and private despite it being so close to everything. Adam was a great host, very friendly and his communication was excellent. We had trouble with the vacuum and he came through and helped us with it. We will absolutely stay again when we visit family in Cleveland. Thanks Adam! Highly recommend.

Truly a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a rest. This included our dog, who enjoy the outside area and pondering across the water view. Caught up on some book reading, and local events. Will be a place to return to, perfect for a small family, 2 couples on a catchup, or just 2 adults and dog needing a great place to rest and enjoy the surroundings

Nice and clean place

We had a fantastic stay at 3 Donahue St, Point Lookout. The house was clean, beautifully decorated, and perfectly located just minutes from Home beach. Our host Tricia was responsive and helpful. The outdoor space was lovely and the ping pong table a nice touch. Overall, it was a charming and relaxing getaway, highly recommended!

The house was so lovely and the views were amazing. With a balcony upstairs and one downstairs we could always see the water. The rooms were a great size. The entire house felt so comfortable. We have stayed in a number of Airbnbs recently, Jason’s place by far has been the best! Really lovely house, well presented, felt right at home instantly. Great location. Well equipped with everything we needed, easy check in and out also! Jason was a fantastic host, we will definitely be back and highly recommend Jason and his beautiful home.

A great private place to stay. Barbara was always responsive and helpfully made adjustments when required when issues my end arised.

Nice clean, roomy place close to where our event was. It worked out really well.

Margeurite has made her B&B a real stand out. She has catered for every need, from any kitchen item down to ball throwers and balls for dogs. Her cottage is very cute, comfy, quiet and tidy. We would certainly recommend this accommodation to other people.

Thank you Carolyn for your hospitality. We had an amazing stay at Gindabara. It was perfectly set up for our extended family to stay together. The kids loved the outside area. We had a great BBQ and lunch celebration for Mum's passing. It was easy to walk everywhere and the beach was so close. Loved the lounge area and big kitchen. Great to have 3 units and cottage to retreat to. The team was very helpful and went out of their way to accommodate us all. And the contact for catering. It was a lovely experience. Thanks again. Heidi's accommodation is a gorgeous freestanding unit, across the driveway from the main house. Very stylish interior, with a fresh, nautical feel. Spotlessly clean, the standout for us was the thoughtful addition of so many complimentary accessories provided. The property is safely secured behind an electric gate entry on their property. Easy to find and you will have a set of keys and remote for the duration of your stay. Thank you for a great experience, Heidi!

Such a great location. Easy walk to beech & shops . Once you step in to Chris and Garth’s property, you feel like you are already on holiday . Everything is well thought of (down to my own box organiser for my toiletries !) Facility wise everything you need is here; washing machine, dishwasher, BBQ etc & lovely little pool. Would love to return some day Juliet & James
