Leigh-Anne is a very warm and cordial hostess. The cottage offered all the tranquility we were looking for and offers beautiful views over the meadows. We had a great time on a Pentecost weekend.

The houseboat itself is a dream and superbly located, if on the one hand you love the beauty and tranquility of the countryside, sheep and green meadows on your doorstep, but on the other hand also like to go to the beach or to the cities. The train is quickly reached and that is a big plus in the parking situation in Amsterdam. Leonora and Erwin were easy to reach and always there for us when we had questions. Super friendly hosts! Thank you so much dear ones!

The most beautiful and comfortable stay we have had in the Netherlands. A great host with passion, who enthusiastically talks about the area and the rich history. The communication was excellent and the beautiful, soothing environment ensures that you can completely relax. Absolutely recommended for everyone, we are guaranteed to come back!

The accommodation at Jeanette and Rien is simply a dream and we were able to spend a few nice and relaxing days there. We were warmly welcomed and we also got eggs from the chickens :) On the terrace directly on the water, you can almost have the sun all day in good weather and you can enjoy nature in peace, fish and watch the sheep on the meadow opposite. After a short briefing, we were able to navigate the canal with the motorboat. The house has everything you need for everyday life and it was very clean. We would definitely like to come again.

It is a beautiful accommodation with a view directly of the lake. The accommodation is small but it offers everything you need and we felt very comfortable from the first moment. There is also a parking lot directly opposite and very good restaurants and shopping nearby. It was a dream to wake up every day with a view of the lake. If the weather is good, you can also go swimming there. Will definitely be back :)

Super nice stay in a quiet location. Especially bring your children, there are plenty of toys and the trampoline in the garden is a mega hit. The house is full of comforts, lovely underfloor heating, open garden, where you can hear and admire the woodpecker, blackbird and other birds. You can enjoy hiking in the area. Laura responds quickly and has fun tips for the area. Recommended!

We felt very comfortable in the chalet from the beginning and had a great vacation. The chalet is very appealing and well equipped, so we also cooked a lot. The location of the campsite is very good. Communication with Marinus was very straightforward. We also liked the fact that we could use the season ticket for the outdoor pool at the campsite and went swimming every morning. Ameland is a beautiful island. We can really recommend the chalet.

I just love the area, so that's why I chose this place. It's an adorable little cottage on their estate, with plenty of peace and quiet. In terms of amenities, I didn't miss anything. Well, actually if they added a screen to one of the windows for some bug-free fresh air, that would be fantastic. But it was a serene setting and I could take walks close by in the beautiful surrounding woods. They had a nice big desk for me to work on. Shops and restaurants aren't that far away, either.

We really enjoyed our stay in Anouschka's tiny house! ✨ Everything was taken care of to perfection from the warm welcome to the fine details in the cottage. The bed was wonderful, the coffee was delicious and the quiet, green surroundings were exactly what we were looking for. 🌿 Anouschka was incredibly friendly and helpful, and it was super nice that we were allowed to check out a little later – we really appreciated that. Floor, the labradoodle, was also a nice surprise. What a sweet and playful dog! 🐶 Highly recommended for those who want to relax completely. We go home with a smile. 💛

I had an amazing time at the cabin. I am a florist and I came from the USA for the flowers and to learn as much as I could about them, the farming, the flower auctions & the marketing and advertising while I was here. I was traveling solo and her cabin is a perfect location for it all and I felt safe there through out my stay. I also loved the fact that I had the quiet woods and farmland surrounding me but could also be at the beach in a blink of an eye! She was an amazing host with the biggest heart and wonderful recommendations. I so wish to come back one day with my daughter. The cabin and The Netherlands have my heart now! :) Thank you for an amazing trip. P.s.- If you plan to stay here, maybe bring a flashlight because the trail in the woods to the cabin can get a little dark at night! ;)

Very positive experience! The cottage is wonderful (and clean), the luxury is very nice and the area is beautiful. The animals (chickens and pigs) make it a very idyllic place. Rik and Hanneke are incredibly nice hosts, I would recommend this to everyone. Small things were very thoughtful, for example that Rik always and quickly responded to questions, Hanneke came after a question whether a drawing pen was present to bring a drawing pen (even before we actually needed it) and when we wanted to stay an extra night but this was not possible due to new tenants they thought along and were very flexible. In short, very good experience thanks to the landlords, the beautiful place and the nice house.

We had a great stay in the Netherlands. The accommodation is impeccable, bright, clean, in accordance with the description on the site. We couldn't ride our bikes because of the bad weather, but we'll do it another time. I recommend this real cocooning accommodation. We will return to this beautiful area.

After our wedding, we set out to spend a few nights in the stork's nest of Gerd and Kathinka. You can see the love in every detail on the farm as soon as you enter the grounds. We were shown everything and it quickly became clear how casual the next few days would be. There is always something going on in the yard. We deliberately took some time and simply walked for a few hours and helped with the horses, for example. It's great that there was a certain basic trust for this. The pottery course at Kathinka was also super exciting. We are already looking forward to the final product. We were able to take a lot of the stay with us and are already looking forward to the next time. :)

We had a great time in the cabin. The place and the cabin are fantastic and Rens and Elisa w af and super friendly. In addition to the beautiful surroundings and the beautiful accommodation, we were very happy with the wood stove and the hot tub that we could use for a fee. We highly recommend the Noorderhuisje. Gerlinda is super nice and helpful. The accommodation is quiet and very cozy, the bed very comfortable and the view of the cow meadow simply great :) There is a great swimming lake nearby and you can get to Utrecht or Ammersfort super fast. We will be happy to come back!

Irene was an amazing host. She was very friendly and gave us local recommendations which we tried and loved! The neighborhood was very peaceful and it was really easy to go to the station. Place was very clean and beautifully decorated. We loved the backyard of the place as well! Thank you Irene.

A wonderful space in a beautiful quiet area with all the amenities you need to relax for a weekend! There were clear instructions everywhere (with how to turn on the hot tub, for example) and the space was equipped with all comforts. Alette is a very nice, friendly and helpful hostess who quickly comes to the rescue if you need anything! She is very pleasant to deal with, we had a very nice conversation with her after she came to bring some extra firelighters. The contact is therefore only at your own request, so there is also sufficient privacy. We can definitely recommend this accommodation to others!

How wonderful it was to celebrate my 40th birthday at this location: a super beautiful cabin, wonderful swimming pond, the animals so peaceful in the meadow, every corner so cozy made.. We did the bike and walking tour that was proposed and that was also the effort: the area is beautiful! we would love to come back here!

Our stay in the ecological tiny house with mini farm was really a dream. From the first moment we felt welcome, especially by Joyce, the warm, caring and sincere hostess who makes this place even more special 💛 The tiny house is cozy and cleverly furnished, completely in harmony with nature. Outside, an oasis of peace awaits: whistling birds, roaming chickens and goats with character (we were almost inclined to take them home with us😄). 'In the evening, we enjoyed the hot tub under the starry sky and let all the tension melt away in the sauna. A place where you can completely disconnect. Thank you Joyce for your hospitality, your smile and the love you put into this place. You can feel it everywhere. We went home completely recharged and will definitely come back! 🌾✨

We had a very lovely stay in Jisp with Esther and Marc. Spacious accommodation in such a peaceful location. Our hosts were fantastic, so accommodating and helpful. We made the best of the weather with several days of cycling and relaxing. Public transport is excellent as to be expected. We would love to come back and explore more of North Holland.

Had a great time at this place! Everything was perfectly as described, clean, well-equipped and very comfortable. The location is ideal for disconnecting and the host was very responsive and welcoming. Highly recommend, would definitely stay again again again again!

We had a very nice time in the cozy cabin of Nelleke. The location was perfect for trips to the Islands and for bike tours.
