House holiday rentals in North Pender Island

What a great spot! Nestled in the woods in a peaceful and quiet setting this place is truly one-of-a-kind. The house is very unique with lots of character that sets it apart from the usual stays. It was clean and had all we needed. Our host Gramma Rikki was exceptionally warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate, and we could not take advantage of all the outdoor spaces and amenities. We played pool, sat by the cozy fire and did some island exploring by car. All in all it was a very enjoyable and relaxing getaway despite the crummy weather. We hope to return one day and experience everything this wonderful place has to offer.

Priska and Rudy are really nice. we enjoyed our 5 night stay. we enjoyed the pool as well as the weather was nice. we would stay again if we are ever in Vancouver area again.

'Hollywood North' is a bit of a misnomer - the home is much more classic, warm and comfortable, with owners who provide timely and helpful communication and assistance. 'West Coast Charm and Grace' might be more descriptive. The cost of the accommodation, though not unsubstantial, was well worth it. We were a group of 9 adults from 2 branches of one family who meet every Thanksgiving to reconnect. The bedrooms, the bathrooms, the 2 living areas, the dining room, the outdoor terrace, the swimming pool and hot tub, the gardens, and the very impressive kitchen all served to make the holiday one we will cherish. Everything you need to make the house your home was supplied - inspired us to stay in and cook as a family a vegetarian Thanksgiving dinner! In short, a beautiful home and great hosts in a lovely setting. Could not ask for more.

Matt and Lina’s place was like a little slice of heaven. The beds were comfortable. The place was clean. The pool was the perfect temperature.

This was an excellent stay for my fiance and I. Kim's house was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a long-term stay. The kitchen was very well stocked, with a brand new dishwasher and oven. The bedrooms were very cozy, with extremely comfortable mattresses and sheets. The bathroom was also very clean, with lots of storage space for toiletries and things. The neighborhood was something special, too. its a gated community with a very peaceful feel to it. Several walkable parks, one of which we went to nearly every day we were there to watch the sunset over the bay. The people here are friendly and welcoming. Finally, the property manager, Shirley, was a real gem. She was so thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely kind to us during our stay. She works hard to make sure the yard is kept up with, issues are resolved, and overall cares for the comfort of the guests. This is a 5 star Abnb that I wish I could have stayed at for longer. Dont hesitate to book!

Peaceful and lovely house, the views from the balcony were beautiful. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Nanaimo.

We were 2 couples visiting the province for a family gathering. This place was absolutely perfect for us! Spacious, clean and beautifully decorated homes. The gardens are gorgeous and we grew attached to all the lovely animals outside the front door! The rural setting was close to all the urban places we visited....and we enjoyed getting to know the surrounding area. Krista was responsive and helpful....and gave us lots of great tips! This is the best airbnb experience we have ever had!

This is a beautiful home in a peaceful neighborhood. The yard and neighborhood are lovely. The decor and art is fun, even has live plants. Beds are comfortable, nice linens. Kitchen is large and well stocked. It is multi level and has stairs in many areas.

We had a lovely, peaceful stay. It was less than a 5 minute drive to some overlooks for beautiful sunsets. The tree net was fun and unique. It was strikingly quiet! The bathhouse worked just fine, close to the cabin and clean. The shower was nice and stocked with toiletries. The cabin was a perfect place to stay while exploring San Juan Island. Close to Lime Kiln by car. It was our first time visiting and we enjoyed cozying up in the cabin after a day of hiking or exploring. The French press and coffee were a major plus! We were charmed by the island and by the cabin. I frankly loved having no cell service (true for most of SJI for me—tip to Verizon users!), it was a forced disconnect. I downloaded the Google map in advance so I could use it offline, which was helpful in navigating. Raeleen was proactive with instructions and texted to check in after our first night. Thank you so much and we hope to visit again someday! Highly recommend if you want to go off the grid and recharge!

Absolutely gorgeous spot on the ocean. Hottub was a very nice touch after a long day of driving, and the patio was perfect for morning coffee.

This home is fantastic, zero improvements necessary. I felt right at home as soon as we drove up, walked in the front door, stepped into a lovely bright entry which looked directly out to the ocean. Spectacular, quit the wow entry. The house is a 10, the yard is a 10 and the beds are all a 10 (a good comfortable bed is huge for me). Thank you Lori, we all had a wonderful time in your beautiful home.

I was traveling with 3 kids (pre teen and teens). We all loved our stay! There was so much to do and absolutely everything we needed for anything we could think of doing. We enjoyed ping pong, biking, s’more’s, kayaking, games, cooking meals, watching wildlife (seals, a huge sea lion, weasel, bald eagles), and hanging out with a friendly black cat that visited. I cooked a couple meals and had everything I needed for cooking and storage. The view was amazing and north-facing which made me upset that I missed the strong auroras by 1 day :( I wish we could have stayed longer!

Gorgeous location, views are unbeatable. Such a lovely space, every member of the family read in the window seat at some point. Making breakfast and watching for the native otters to come play was a daily treat. The deck is massive and such a lovely vantage point of the harbor. So many critters to watch. Absolutely loved this home. We had 2 kids under 7 and they felt right at home with the stuffy toys and kids room with 2 single beds+. The house is about 5 min from the ferry and about 20-25 min from Eastsound - beautiful drive with lots of farm stands along the way.

Really great place. Exceeded our expectations. Easy beach access, incredible views from the unit and just perfect in every way. Hosts were very attentive and communication was clear.

The place was beautiful, both inside and outside of the property. We had a beautiful garden view, and a small patio to enjoy our Breaky in the morning! The place itself was very large, with a beautiful, modern kitchen. The bedrooms were nice, with one looking out/ opening up to the garden. The host left a nice booklet of all the best places to shop and eat — which was actually very helpful!! The parking was very good, and we even had “spare parking” If we needed it. Overall, very good stay, and we will be booking it again.

The views at this place are just stunning! You will be met with such an amazing sunset. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with what you need. It has the feel of an older cabin but still felt clean with nice touches. The drive really is up. Fine for us but like the listing says four wheel drive is a must. The hot tub was wonderful too.

Picture perfect. What a treat to stay in this beautifully restored home. Every detail was thought out and carefully selected. The beds and furniture are all very comfortable and lovely to look at. Thought went into every piece and fixture, light fixture and appliance to create a well thought out aesthetic. Nice linens, and extras in the bathrooms. The kitchen is lovely to look at and streamlined, and you’ll find everything you need to prepare a fine meal. Good knives, all the bowls, pots and pans you need, with every appliance you’d want, but put away in a logical place so nothing is cluttered or hard to find! Fun extras like firewood for the outdoor fire pit, yard game, indoor games and a basket of blankets to sit outside and enjoy the backyard. Good communication from host Brant. If in the area again… I’d be back in a heartbeat!

This may be our favorite bnb we've stayed at on the islands and will probably be an annual thing. Such a perfect location and so quiet! Parking at the home is great, kitchen is fully loaded, living room is incredibly cozy, and all the seating from kitchen, to front window, to couch was perfect. We've stayed in places that were cool and fun locations, but there is rarely places to really cozy up and enjoy your stay in. The home was truly inspiring for someone who wants to build a tiny cabin one day. I wouldn't change a thing, cannot wait to get back!

What a wonderful place. House was bright and airy and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed and more. Lots of cupboard space in the bedrooms, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen. We were 4 adults and there was tons of space for all of us. It was a great experience and although it was a bit of a drive into Victoria it was definitely worth it.

The perfect place to stay for a few days in the Sooke area, secluded and peaceful yet with easy access to local amenities. The inside space was spotless and has been thoughtfully designed and kitted out with quality equipment. And the deck, with its lovely view, is a great spot to end the day with a glass of wine or two. We will 100% return.

Truly enjoyed our Birch Bay visit. Just wish our drive up from Seattle hadn’t delayed us from arriving earlier. Got to experience a beautiful sunset!
