Lake house holiday rentals in North Lakes

place was better than the photos. very very family friendly. there were toys for our little one to play with, a big secure backyard for our dog, a big tv with great sound system for movies, chefs kitchen, a pristine pool. we had a fantastic time. would love to book again in future.

Nothing short of outstanding!!! From the house to the location and especially the Host Lyn you could not ask for anything more! Lyn was out of town when we were checking in so organised another contact for us and Tahlea was also a pleasure to deal with! Loved it!!

Fantastic location and house was amazing. I had read poor reviews about the cleanliness of the house but thought I’d give it a go. We did find a dirty nappy behind the curtains, the range hood was disgusting as the fat residue showed that it certainly had not been cleaned forever. The bins were not emptied therefore we needed to take rubbish home with us. For what we paid I would have expected more than 1 pool cue which was broken and had electrical tape around the tip to keep it in place. That was very disappointing. Apart from the negatives, the house catered to our needs and the main bed was super comfy. If the cleaning was improved and equipment matched the facilities ( pool cues please!!!) we would definitely give the house 5 stars!!!

I initially booked a short stay at Shauna and Fred’s place but ended up extending — that’s how great it is! The location is perfect, the space is clean, comfortable, and feels like home. Shauna and Fred are genuinely warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful hosts who’ve made my stay so easy and welcoming. I’m really glad I found this place and couldn’t recommend it more!

My family flew from the Philippines for my wedding and they’ve felt right at home as soon as they entered the house—and had the best time throughout their stay! Our stay at Pelican waters was just what we needed, from inside to outside As we wanted to enjoy each other's company and not go out there was enough for us to do together with in the house from enjoying the spa and pool and able to use the kayaks. The Kitchen was a dream we had few cooks in there and all able to sit around the island bench at the same time with a little light under it... The games provided where also a hit with us especially the free standing connect 4 We had amazing stay and we would recommend you to stay here Big Thank You Mandy and Steph

We had an amazing stay at this spacious Airbnb on Russell Island! The peaceful and beautiful location was perfect for relaxing, with great opportunities for fishing and catching mud crabs. The owner generously lent us a dinghy and crab traps, which made our experience even better. The house was fully equipped with all the amenities we needed, including plenty of cooking utensils and pantry essentials. For anything else, the local IGA grocery store, bottle shop, and nearby canteen (serving breakfast and lunch) had us covered. The RSL nearby was also a great spot for dinner. In warmer months, be prepared for mosquitoes and midges, but the owner provided pest spray and body protection, which was very helpful. Overall, this Airbnb was a fantastic choice for relaxation, fishing, and enjoying the natural beauty of Russell Island. Highly recommended!

Great place to utilise with our pets fenced and large covered outdoor area as we transitioned to our new home. Comms were clear and concise the house was perfect for what we needed.

Ann was lovely, warm and welcoming whilst giving us space and privacy. We were a last minute booking, having had issues with our previously arranged accommodation. We arrived frazzled and worried, and within 30 minutes of booking we were being welcomed into the lovely, spotlessly clean home, where we very soon felt welcome, settled and relaxed. Teddy, her little dog, is just as hospitable as Ann is, welcoming our big dog with nothing but tail wags and an invitation to share his toys.

Ralph is a very kind and enthusiastic young man who is clean and spacious, and the stove stove in the kitchen is perfect for our Chinese cooking style.The bus stop is 10 minutes' walk away, and the surrounding environment is good.Anyway, I highly recommend his place, it was so worth it!

Absolutely beautiful. Modern and stylishly furnished. Felt very homely and private, you wouldn't know you were part of the same residence. So relaxing and quiet. Leanne was lovely to speak to and was very friendly and accommodating. Thankyou for having me.

Emma and Jon were nice. No problem, stayed out of the way unless asked. Location was brilliant for us, so close to Pat Rafter Arena. Outdoor spa was sensational, pool and ice bath 👏🏼 Kitchen was simple, but the outdoor cooking space helped. The BBQ was great. Would 100% stay at Tennyson again with Emma & Jon.

This was the perfect family-friendly spot. Impressed by the attention to detail! The host stocked the kitchen with essentials, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Communication was seamless! The hosts were responsive and extremely welcoming, ensuring our stay was comfortable from start to finish. The host even brought us some fresh eggs in the morning which was lovely. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. We will definitely be coming back!

This home in Thorneside was an absolute dream. Perfect location with the most beautiful scenery. The house was fresh and clean the moment we arrived which I always appreciate. Iris has been helpful and informative during our stay. A great convenience is the local playground which was a 5min walk, great for kids. Highly recommend this property. Would book again in future.

Highly recommend this property. The home has everything you could possibly need, and is in a lovely, quiet area. The host is easy to deal with, and communicates well. We will 100% be staying here again.

My family and I had the most wonderful stay at Marie's gorgeous property. Highly recommended! It is peaceful, in a really quiet neighbourhood, extremely clean and just close to where we needed to go to everyday for our activities, which was Manly. Everything was exactly as described and in the photos. Marie was really accommodating, friendly and flexible. The aircon was a godsend during this summer, and there are separate aircons in each bedroom. The high stools at the kitchen made it convenient for a quick breakfast everyday. The full-size fridge was another godsend, as we cooked most of our meals. And there are plenty of towels and bath mats! There is an IGA, bakery, butcher and chemist less than a 5-minute drive away at Manly Village, and at Wynnum Plaza less than a 10-minute drive away are Woolworths, Coles, Kmart and the awesome Super Butcher. Thank you Marie for sharing your property with us and making our stay at Brisbane so awesome.
